Bludevil's FatLoss Stack + AndroHard (sponsored by PP)

Day 20 - Sept 1

Notes - Not sure what was up yesterday, but the entire day just seemed to be off. I woke up with a headache, my desire and intensity in the gym wasn't there and overall just felt blah. I'm not getting sick or anything but just seemed to not have focus or energy to do anything. I guess the one good thing is I'm now back at home.

Those days suck but I like to use them as a challenge when I am in the gym. If I can just get through a workout I feel like that is twice the accomplishment as when I am on my game and tearing it up. Then again, my thought process on those days is far from that positive most of the time.

I cant stand days like that, im having one of those off days today. Woke up dead beat tired, and didnt not wake up from it all day.

Got to my workout and it just wasnt good at all, no sweat, strength was in the toilet. I was like wtf? But like another poster said, good thing is, these days pass!

Logs lookin good btw bud

Day 21 - Sept 2
Green Tea - 1 cap in the morning, 1 cap Post W/o, 1 cap dinner

AndroHard - 3ml x2

Dermatherm - Derma applied immediately after morning shower. One thing I've slightly noticed with Dermatherm. I always apply on an empty stomach and usually have my breakfast about an hour after that. For some reason after I eat breakfast I always feel bloated. This has been going on for about the last 10 days. Not sure if it has anything to do with Dermatherm or not.

Maximize v2 pre w/o

Training
Again short on time due to having to run around with the kids. Son had football practice and daughter had cheerleading practice. Still going semi-light with shoulder exercises. Tendonitis in left shoulder seems to be flaring up. It's like my strength is climbing each week, but my body (tendons and joints) just can't handle the load.

Seated Military Presses - 3x5 @ 105
DB Upright Rows - 3x5 @ 60
DB Laterals - 3x5 @ 25

20 minutes on tready at 4.5 incline and 3.8 speed.

Diet - Low Carb day
Morning - Shake (1/2 cup of oatmeal, 1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb)
Lunch - Gilled Chicken Salad
Afternoon - Grilled Chicken Salad
Post Workout - Whey Protein with 1/2 cup of oats, banana
Dinner - Omlette with chicken and peppers
Night - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein

Notes - Energy and drive seemed to be a little better today, but still off slightly. I've also noticed my libido has been down the last few days. I honestly don't remember having any random wood and no desire for sex. Hopefully this will pass.

Each day is its own. Keep a short memory for the good and the bad. Each day is a new one, with equal chance of being a good one or a bad one. It depends on if you take it by the horns, and get trampled on.
Head up, and keep killin it!

Great post. Your right, the day is what you make it. Life's to short to not make the most of it.

Day 22 - Sept 3
Green Tea - 1 cap in the morning, 1 cap Post W/o, 1 cap dinner

AndroHard - 3ml x2

Dermatherm - Derma applied immediately after morning shower.

Maximize v2 pre bball

Training
Played 1.5 hours of full court bball. Although I had a decent day, felt like my legs were really heavy. While I had no problem moving up and down the floor, it's like I had to tell myself to run. It didn't come natural like usual. I kept telling myself to turn the intensity up and go all out. I was there mentally but not physically. Usually 1.5 scoops of Maximizev2 and AH and I'm amped up to go, but today was different. I'm beginning to think I either need a few days of rest (which is coming with the long weekend), or I need to really up the calories the next few days to refeed my body. We'll see how it goes.
Being Labor Day weekend, not sure how many of you are hunters, but my favorite hunting is dove hunting. Can't wait to get out in the fields and slay a few birds this weekend.

Diet - No Carb day
Morning - Shake (1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb) + 1/2 cucumber
Lunch - Canned Salmon, 1/2 cucumber, fish oil
Afternoon - Grilled Chicken Salad
Dinner - Salmon, Garden Salad and a small sweet potato (so not totally carb free day)
Night - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein

Notes - All in all, I feel better than the previous few days but still not back 100%. It's hard to describe the feeling, kind of like when I used to run Adkins and I'd go into ketosis I'd feel like this, but I'm consuming to much carbs for that. I've been trying to reduce caffeine as well (except Maximize) so that probably doesn't help the grogginess in the morning.

Have you thought of trying rhodiola or some other ginsengs/adaptogens to help with the grogginess/dependence on caffeine?

Yeah, was on my list of things to get for next order. Was hoping to see some for sale with NP's labor day sales going on.

Day 26 - Sept 7

Labor Day weekend - no training. Diet was ok except for Monday. I was still feeling kind of weak, so I thought I might need to up the calories just to shock the system. I literally ate anything and everything carb wise that I could get my hands on in a 2 hour period. I had so many carbs that I thought I was going to get sick. I woke today feeling bloated, but better. Hopefully the super carb-up day done the trick. I will say, the last thing I wanted today was carbs. I think if I would have just looked at oatmeal, I'd puked a little in my mouth :haha:

Training
With back and shoulder still nagging, I though it might be good to just have a change-up and do something different for training. The gym I go to offers different classes and today was bootcamp day. I've never done it before, so I said what the heck, it's definately different from the norm. Well, I talked to the instructor and he said it was made up of different bootcamp, P90x and plyometrics exercises.

Class was 30 minutes. I have no shame saying this class literally kicked my butt. I was drenched in sweat in about 10 minutes. At the 20minute mark, we did burpees with db shoulder presses when jumping up for 2 minutes and I honestly thought I was going to hurl. So with that, I decided to do these different classes for this week to give my joints some time to heal from the weights. I think tomorrow is named muscle-pump. Like I said earlier, I've never taken a class so I have no idea what's to come, although I forsee a lot of max-effort pushups and situps in 1 minute timeframes.

Diet - No Carb day
Morning - Shake (1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb) + 4 radishes
Lunch - Grilled Chicken Salad
Afternoon - Grilled Chicken Salad
Dinner - all beef hot dog with the fixin's but with no buns.
Night - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein

Notes - I believe the high carbs seemed to do the trick to get my system back to normal. Felt a lot better today, although I feel like I gained 5lbs from all of the water weight I'm retaining.

Sometimes our bodies just need it!! I myself went a bit overboard this weekend but all i can do is hop back on it!!

I will say, after a good cheat meal my appetite is severely blunted most of the time!!

Logs lookin good brother, keep hammering away!

AndroHard - 3ml x2

Dermatherm - Derma applied immediately after morning shower.

Training
Did the Muscle Pump class today. Should have named it Lactic Acid buildup class. It was basically low weight (I used 15lb db's) for what seemed like an eternity of reps. A lot of compound exercises like bicep curl with shoulder press, or side to side lunge with db press. Finished it off with another 15 minute brutal abs exercise class. All in all, a good workout. I was drenched in sweat when I finished. I then went and pounded out some db presses and pullups for reps of 10 just for good measure. By the way, I'm pretty sore today from yesterday's workout. Chest and shoulder are sore. I imagine my legs will be sore tomorrow from all of the different angle lunges and squats we were doing.

Diet - Low Carb day
Morning - Shake (1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb) + 4 radishes
Lunch - Shake (1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb), 1/2 grapefruit
Afternoon - Grilled Chicken Salad, 1/2 grapefruit, fish oil
Dinner - Greek Yogurt mixed with natty pb, 1/2 cucumber
Night - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein

Notes - My body seems to be back to normal. Energy, focus, drive and libido are back to baseline which is good. I'm going to knock out one more class tomorrow. It's kickboxing so it should be interesting.

Here's a pic of my son (5) with a dove I killed. He was my retriever for the day. Hope no peta members on here...By the way, the gun is not his, just for pic.

I'm no rep, but I usually wouldn't advise using a topical until you get close to 10% Body Fat. Also, your only 2 weeks into it. A topical will take time. I'm more interested in your training and diet. Diet is key

I was 290 lbs 3 years ago and tonight 214lbs ,with 19.5 % bf,my diet is right ,and i jus hit a plateu,I do not care about weight anymore ,just looking to reduce bf ,and searching for something to break this!!

I don't think your going to notice any difference with using Dermatherm at 19.5% BF. All in all, I believe topicals are best suited for individuals looking to compete and trying to drop that last 0.5% of bodyfat. While at 19.5%, a drop of 0.5% is really not noticable, but at 5% bf on stage, a 1/2% drop is huge. Just my .02 cents though. If your at a plateu, maybe increase cardio, or drop 500 calories and see what happens. Slow and steady will get you there. Anything rapid and you risk losing to much muscle.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Agreed with SilentBob and Bluedevil in regards to topicals. Dermatherm is helping me but I will say that it is not drastic; that comes with diet and added cardio. Not to diminish the effects of Dermatherm BUT it is not a miracle worker that will magically make you have a six pack.

Training
Did kickboxing class today. This class should have been named "everybody look at the uncordinated new white boy". This class wasn't what I was expecting. The best way to describe is imagine a lot of dance moves with some punches and kicks thrown in. There was a lot of multiple movements compounded into 1 set, like lunge to punch to kick to squat. Needless to say it took a while to get into the groove. I found the only way I could keep up was to repeat to myself the movements. I couldn't just watch the instructor, I had to say the movements to myself to keep from misstepping. By the end of class, I was drenched in sweat though, so it was all good.

Finished off with 3x10 of incline db press superset with seated machine rows. Also 1x10 of machine bicep curl superset with machine tricep curls.

Diet - Med Carb day
Morning - Shake (1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb) + 1/2 cucumber
Lunch - Greek Yogurt mixed with natty pb and choc. protein pwder, 1/2 cucumber
Afternoon - Grilled Chicken Salad, 1/2 grapefruit, fish oil
Evening snack - 1/2 grapefruit, 1/2 cucumber
Dinner - Turkey tenderloin, asparagus, fish oil
Night - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein

Notes - Since my huge carb up day on Monday, I have went carbless the entire week minus veggies and fruits and I feel great. Not to give to much info into my life, but I usually have gas all day, but since I've dropped the wheat products my gas has been minimal. Given that plus the way I feel, I'm starting to think I maybe gluten intolerant. Anyway, I'm going to continue and see how it goes.So going forward will try to run something like this:

No wheat/starchy carbs
high carb days will consist of 3 meals with fruits (breakfast / pre / post workout)
med carb days will consist of 2 meals with fruits (breakfast / post workout)
low carb days will consist of 1 meal with fruit (post workout)

How is your strength holding up? Are you seeing any gains in that department with the AH? I am destroying weights and going up in almost all my lifts while recomping at the same time. Do tell!

How is your strength holding up? Are you seeing any gains in that department with the AH? I am destroying weights and going up in almost all my lifts while recomping at the same time. Do tell!

Well, that's truly the whole reason I'm doing these classes this week instead of hitting the weights hard. The last few weeks, my strength has been rising (weights going up on all exercises) but unfortunately to the detriment of my joints and ligaments. It seems my rise in strength is outpacing what my joints can handle. Decided to slow down a bit, and give my body a rest and hit the weights again next week.

But to answer your question, yes AH is working :veryhappy:

Training
Played pick-up bball today for about 2 hours. I felt a lot better this week than last. Endurance and strength was all good. Only bad thing is, I got stuck on a sucky team. We shoot free throws to see who will be on teams, and since I was late, I got stuck on a sucky team. Played for 1.5 hours before my team ever won a game. The only reason we won was because the other team was getting tired, and me and one other guy on our team still had our legs, so we just ran'em.

Diet - Low Carb day
Morning - Shake (1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb) + 4 radishes
Lunch - Canned Salmon, asparagus, fish oil
Afternoon - Turkey Tenderloin, asparagus, apple, fish oil
Dinner - Eggs with peppers and natty pb
Night - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein

Notes - Excited about tomorrow. Got a call today to go play in a flag football tournament. Haven't played flag football in about 2 years so I'm look'n forward to it. Maybe the AH aggression and intensity will come in handy.

Day 30 - Sept 11

Green Tea - 1 cap in the morning, 1 cap Post W/o, 1 cap dinner

AndroHard - 3ml x2

Dermatherm - Derma applied immediately after morning shower.

Training
Played in a flag football game today. The biggest surprise coming from this was just how physical the games were. The team I played for has been together for awhile but they were a couple of players down so they asked me to play. They had me playing center, and on the 1st play of the game, this guy bull rushes me and knocks me on my tail. From that moment on, I knew it was going to be physical and I loved it. It was pretty much tackle football as long as you were making a move to grab the flag. Played a total of 4 games (we won 2 and lost 2). We did however lose to the eventual winners, who by the way has won the tournament 5 years in a row now. I really enjoyed it. At my position, I usually hiked the ball, did a quick block then did 5-10 yard slants. Had a couple of nice catches/runs. I think I impressed the guys on team because they asked me to join them. There is a big flag football tournament in Oct, we're going to start practicing for.

Diet - High Carb day
Morning - Shake (1/2 cup of oatmeal, 1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb) + 4 radishes
Lunch - Shake (1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb, banana) + 1/2 cucumber
Afternoon - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein
Dinner - Some type of crappy caribbean salad from Applebee's.
Night - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein

Notes - Cannot believe how sore I am after the football games. I woke up Sunday extremely sore in the legs. I can't remember my hamstring and inner/outer leg muscles being this sore. It's kind of surprising because I play a lot of bball and I'm never sore, but making those quick cuts and side to side motion really took it's toll on me. Not to mention hitting the ground quite a few times.
The 1st 2 games I was on top of my game with endurance and phsicallity. The AH seemed to be lending itself well. But by game 3/4 age started taking it's toll. The legs started getting heavy and I found myself not running any deep routes. We were running a no huddle offense so it was always let's hurry up and get back to the scrimmage line to run the next play. After talking to a lot of the guys, I'd say the average age was 22 to 26 years old. I saw one other guy who looked to be close to my age at 37, so I'm happy that I could hold up (without any injury) for all 4 games.

Afternoon - Steak with salad and 1 cup of pineapple
Dinner - Hamburger Steak with cheese and 1/2 cucumber

Notes - Pretty good session in the gym today. Only setback was I spent to much time talking about football and fantasy stats. Probably wasted 30 minutes talking. My stength seemed to be there even after taking a week off. Shoulder and back are still a little iffy. I believe the AH is kicking in high gear now because all of my old injuries are starting to hurt again. Stiff/dry joints. I've ordered some joint supp's from Beverly to help. I was running Super Cissus but ran out about a week ago. I need to up the fish oil dosage as well.

Lookin good broski.. I myself am starting flag football here shortly. I actualy had another crew within my shop ask me to join them and play for them. I wont be able to make all of the games but im still stoked to play!

Training
No training today. Had a volunteer day at work. I volunteered to clean up a lake near my house (Jordan Lake) for anyone in NC. You wouldn't believe the amount of trash picked up. Even found a couple of tractor tires and refrigerator. We started about 8am and finished up around 12. It wasn't to bad in the morning, but around 10 the sun started bearing down on us and the trash started getting heavy. Worked up a good sweat. It was actually a pretty good workout, some of the bags of trash I was carrying had to be at least 100lbs and on rocky terrain made for a good functional workout.
Came home and pushed mowed the yard (took about an hour) for some added cardio.

Diet - High Carb day

Morning - Shake (1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb) + 1/2 cucumber
Lunch - Roast beef wrap, bag of chips and 1 cookie provided by volunteer group
Afternoon - Grilled Chicken wrap and some pineapple provided by volunteer group
Dinner - Hamburger Steak with cheese and 1/2 cucumber. Also had some homemade cookies. Wife made some for the kids and the smell was to hard to resist.
Night - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein

Notes - Nothing really to report today. My legs are finally feeling back to normal after the flag football.

The season starts the 20th for us, but me and my crew played football today for PT, nothin like rollin out of the pocket to get away from the LT. and throwing a touchdown!

Logs still lookin good brother, lovin all the good feedback.

It's been awhile since I've had my bf% checked. While I don't think the Tanita scales are that accurate, they do give a good indication if I'm going in the right/wrong direction.

So far here's what we have
Start weight - 189
Weight now - 191
(+2lbs)

Starting BF% - 11.2
BF% now - 8.5%
(-2.7bf%)
Now, while I'm no where near 8.5%, I'm guessing low to mid 10's, it's still a really good signal. My weight has went up 2lbs while my bf% has went down. I can't ask for more than this for a legal OTC stack. So far the pro's are increased strength, increased agression and focus in the gym (this has lessened lately), and in the beginning increased libido (after 1st week, went back to baseline). The con's or sides so far are around week 3, joints starting getting stiff/achy, started noticing acne on legs and back and my sleep isn't as restful. I have no problem falling asleep, it's I wake up multiple times during the night. All in all, a pretty fair trade to say the least. Look'n forward to see how the ride ends.

I enjoyed the Boot Camp training class I did last week so I decided to take it again this week. It was with a different instructor today and his exercises were totally different. I'd say more cardio/endurace than strength. For instance at one point he had us doing pushups on a bosu ball into a squat jump cycle for 5 minutes straight. Sweat was pouring off of me when that was over.

Diet - Low Carb day
Morning - Shake (1 scoop of protein, 3 tsp of natty pb) + 1/2 cucumber
Lunch - Meatballs w/peppers, 1/2 cucumber and 1/2 grapefruit
Afternoon - Meatballs w/peppers, 1/2 cucumber and 1/2 grapefruit, fish oil
Dinner - Semi healthy chicken pie and mixed vegetables
Night - Cottage cheese with natty pb and choc. protein

Notes - I'm really beginning to enjoy the classes. I've been lifting weights off and on for close to 20 years now, with the last 10 being strict. It's kind of nice doing something totally different and not having to worry about keeping up with my training log. I definately work up more sweat with these classes than lifting. In the future I think I might incorporate more of these classes and throw in some GVT type (5x5) heavy lifting to keep strength up. Not sure yet, but it's a thought.

I am always tempted to try out one of those style classes. Most my knowledge is built on bodybuilding, and not necessarily fitness. I am considering doing an endurance event (toughmudder.com -even though it looks like the chicago one is no longer listed). If I do that, a shift to fitness in preparation for awhile might be necessary.

Yeah, as I continue to age, my direction is leaning more to overall fitness and less to bodybuilding per se.

Not much to report over the weekend. I didn't get a chance to play any basketball last Friday due to unexpected meetings, but I did get a chance to get outside and walk for about a mile. No training Sat/Sun.

Diet was alright over the weekend. Kept to diet pretty good, but did consume a few more calories than I would have liked.

Dosing of AH, Green Tea and Dermatherm were all kept as directed. I only have a few more days of AH left judging from the weight of the bottle. About 1/4 a bottle left of Dermatherm and 1/4 to 1/2 of a bottle of green tea left out of 2 bottles.

Not sure time wise what point you are at, but the liquid products are hard to judge how much is left on weight. My Turinabol has felt empty for a week...

Notes - Had a really good lifting session today. The poundage was ok, but the amount of time it took to complete the workout was really good. Usually I spend about 45 minutes lifting. Today it took about 30 minutes. Banging the weights out pretty good with little rest between sets. Chest and Bi's were both pumped after the workout.
