Wow.. tell us how you really feel Mullet..

That sux dude.

That sux dude.

It is brutal. 7 days, 11lbs and two hospital trips down, haha. All because they think they are Mr., and Mrs. Rockafeller because they went to Thailand once and are now above any other type of food!!

Get this: My future-brother-in-law after eating an entire 6 course Sushi meal tells me I should lay off Salsa because of the sodium.....

haha. some funny reads in here at the moment. My lady and I eat sushi once a week at the local sushi bar, I can't handle the super fishy taste though of most of them. I feel your pain though mullet...while I haven't gotten food poisoning from it...I have lived on the toilet for 2 days :D

No, never tried that.

This stuff I'm talking about is a finely ground mix, you cook it in boiling water for about 8 minutes..

Check out some of their products..

Lol I order a 25kg bag a few years back from them of their SteelCut Oats and a few other mixes. Lately I've been buying 25lb bags of Oat Bran though; it cooks quicker ;) 1 cup makes a monster bowl like this. Steel-cut oats take up less volume & have more texture; so I usually have those when I'm not at home for pre/postWO meal.

Got sidetracked for a moment, but wanted to finish up this train of thought..

Have you guys ever read the Insulin Index? There are so many factors other than Insulin in terms of why a product is good for you, but: Brown Rice actually has a higher Insulin Index than Brown Rice!

Yes, that was the idea of this particular meal, on this particular day.. Raising glycogen levels is the order of the day, I was looking a bit flat.. you'll see a quick comp turnaround here shortly..

That's the clearest that I have ever seen you write... good job! :D

Eh, food poisoning sucks. It's one of the worst feelings I can think of. Bleh!

hey snag I just made that stir fry but had limited veggies. Broccolli, green beans, and 2 things of tuna with 2 table spoons of peanut butter on the side. All stir fried in some tasty EVOO. its great stuff man!

Well, there should be all kinds of good stuff in here to help you along your way C! ;)

As for the natty issue -- I am (and have been for the last couple yrs.) as natty as they come. Regrettably however, I have used PH on 2 occasions in the past, and (unknowingly at the time) what I have since learned are AAS (original Halodrol 50 and Havoc), on 2 other occasions back when they first came out. All of this occurred between 2004-2006. So 4 bottles combined. Other than that, I have never used anything illegal or injectable or elsewise (..well, other than GHB.. but that's another issue..)

Let me add: do I think these products had any significant impact on my development? No. Long-term, definitely not. Short-term, as I used them at the height of my ketogenic dietary lifestyle, I did notice increased metabolism, hardening, and vascularity, and strength. But any actual and permanent muscle gains?? I will not attribute any development I have today to those products..

wow...! I would have thought oyu have used more ds then that! good job on being so big and pretty much natty!!

2 cans? That's a large serving of protein..

Good stuff, glad you like the combo..

That's a large serving of fat too.. almost the perfect keto-land meal if the rest of your diet lined up low-carb..

yes sir! I enjoyed it quite a bit. Mom thought it was a disgusting combo haha. I hit about 25G carbs max daily right now.

That totally sux ballz dude. I somewhat know your pain here. I was down 10 lbs. after that evil stomach virus last weekend. I'm on the full mend now though. I've already re-found 3 of those lost lbs. Get better bro.

And I like the wanna-be-guru giving you dietary advice!! haha That's like my grossly alcoholic neighbor telling me to, "watch out for those steroids. They'll mess your liver up!"

Pondering some dietary changes to incorporate for the week..

Still will be staying @2750 cals, but the composition will change. Since my leptin levels should be nice and elevated after yesterday, gonna take advantage of those metabolic processes..

Okay, taking away the roughly 250 cals/60g carbs from my pre/post supplements (again Plasmavol/Anabolic Switch), this leaves me with 2500 food cals to distribute.. so, we'll distribute as such:

Carbs: 180g (@30%)
Protein: 310g (@50%)
Fats: 55g (@20%)

The majority of carbs will be consumed with breakfast/post workout meal, tapering down thru day to fibrous only at night..

I'm planning on 2x weekly higher carb loads, again trying to keep these matched up with leg training days.

Wanted to take a pic pre-workout to show the progress.. looking pretty good this morning imo, nice and tight, full..
But the wife has stolen my camera once again (she does this to me quite often, she's a picture-taking fanatic, scrapbooks a lot), and she's sleeping right now..
So, you guys will have to get the post workout version after I'm done training and she wakes up. Weight upon waking 190.3..

Cyclone Snag destruction imminent..

Day #11 Back/Arms

Same as day #3, with 2 slight twists.. rather than leading off with reverse-grip bent rows, I used a standard grip here. This grip is slightly more difficult for me for some reason, so I stayed at the same weight thruout this exercise. Will move up next time..
Also, on front cable-pulldowns, I used a close, reverse-grip form on these rather than a wider, standard-grip. Just shaking some things up.. Added 1 rep to each set of bw dips.. weights went up on pushdowns & BB curls; static on the finishing set of alternating DB curls.

Breakfast: 440 cals, 40/48/10
Post workout: 455 cals, 60/38/7

Both meals fronted with AP.

Pslin goes away now, to be utilized only on larger carb load days.

Time to get my peel on..

(Dig the pink towel hanging in the background on the first shot.. I gotta deal with the wife's idea of matching everything with our decor....)

Great pic buddy, anything with russia is a winner.

Man.. you have inflated for sure, I was looking at your earlier pics and you can really see the progress but expecially these recent ones, inflated is the best word I can think of when I look at todays pics... says it all. I attribjute a lot to the Prime but the PSLin and has a lot to do with it I assume. I have to study up on nutrient partitioning and it's use for endo's I wonder if I should start grilling T.G. as he is my body type. Now I'm thinking bulk Pslin and AP... see your a bad influence I am already thinking of spending more money.

Large carb days will do that to ya! Thanks..

I'd be happy too if I was rockin' that body!! (no homo)

Hahaaa..yeah. Been awhile since I've seen the 'no homo' thing.. Cool.

In conjunction with the dietary changes, comes elimination of some foods, slight shift in food choices. Gone are the 90/10 sirloin (now replaced by 96/4 lean beef, and more consumption of same), Marzetti's Honey Dijon dressing (:(), which will now be 1 TBS of Ken's Steak House Olive Oil Vinaigrette & 1 TBS Ken's Balsamic Vinaigrette. Things just get tightened up all around.. will rely heavily on Ezekiel grains & oats for my carb sources. Also picked up 10lbs. of ground turkey breast, and this will be used generously. Also phasing out some protein shakes (namely Pro-NOS), relying more on whole foods for intake.

Time to get serious!! :bruce2:

Hah yah balsamic Vinaigrette saved my family's life as food had to slowly lose it's flavour... I got a little irratible.

The layers are getting thinner!! This is the "How bad do you want it time". This is great info here Snag...Thanks!

I'll need to make my visits to the local Trader Joes for some Ezekiel goodies. I can finally jump in on the, "lets cut down" wagon, this is very exciting.

Haha.. yeah I saw that issue of The Economist laying there, was gonna comment on it myself..

Oh, and the oats look pretty tasty too. :food:
The blueberries were the size of marbles. I found some genetic freaks at the supermarket. If it wasn't for the other objects to put things in perspective, you would have thought the bowl was tiny.

PS Now that you guys are all cutting, I'm back into bulking mode. It was a shocker when I read the tub of cashews I bought very carefully; I figure unsalted meant plain. They bloody things have canola oil

Next meals in today's lineup..

Meal #3: 405 cals, 43/45/6 (can of tuna, 2 TBS salsa, 2 cups broccoli, 2 slices Ezekiel bread)

Meal #4: 385 cals, 21/59/7 (1/2 ff cup cottage cheese, 1 scoop MonsterMilk, 1 scoop Pro-NOS - a loving send-off for the tasty stuff)

So I'm on target calorie-wise (1685 cals consumed, 815 to go over next 2 meals, that's perfect), but my macro breakdown will be a smidgen off, as I'm fine-tuning it today. I'll be close enough tho..

Totals to this point: 1685 cals, 164/190/30.5 C/P/F

Meal #5 will be 8oz. 96% beef, 4oz. salad with tomatoes & Ken's dressing.

Meal #6 will be 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese & 1 scoop Ultra Size, 1 scoop MonsterMilk.

You can see my strategy here of a more carb-loaded first half of the day, and a more fat-loaded & higher protein back half of the day..

On my 2x weekly higher-carb days, I'll utilize things like bananas, sweet potatoes, and brown rice. Other than that, as I said Ezekiel grains mainly constitute the carbs, and grapefruit is my fruit of choice..

Yes, this is an aggressive approach. I'm lean enough at this point that, in a perfect scenario, I wouldn't have to make such strict changes, and that is probably the better approach.. however, I'm on a mission here, and the the fact that I want to get the leanest & most peeled & driest of my life puts me on the fast track.

I'm ready for the challenge!

Yeah, you're in the wrong thread bro! :D

I love me some cashews! :food: Don't be too worried about the fat content tho man, that's a great nutrient source for ya in bulk mode.

Awesome man!

I've always wondered what Sam would look like chiseled down a bit (uh, no homo..)

Let's do dis! :bb3:

Hah yah balsamic Vinaigrette saved my family's life as food had to slowly lose it's flavour... I got a little irratible.

Dieting has never bothered me. Guess I'm lucky that way. Or maybe it was living a keto lifestyle for years on end, my body just got used to living the strict life.

When I did my comp diet I ended up feeling okay on it. A little foggy sometimes. But I actually felt worse when I went off diet.

Same here - at first you feel all big & swole after replenishing.. and then after awhile, you just feel fat..

LOL fat and tired. I have been totally exhausted since going off diet. Its as if my body is rebelling. I already know I have the mental disease of wanting to stay competition looking all year! lol.

I would sell my soul to have a treadmill at home. With three kids its hard to fit it in. But I need it to get really lean.

YESSS! Totally feel ya there.. that mentality can be detrimental tho - one definitely needs their grow time!

I hate cardio (have I said that in here already???).. More power to ya if you can hang with the treadmill. Uggh.

My wife got one for Christmas. I think I'll hit it tomorrow. :sigh:

I on the other-hand quite enjoy my cardio; mainly for the endorphin rush I get after-the fact. I feel superb the rest of the day. HIIT sprints on the other hand kick my butt; luckily it only takes me 10 minutes and I'm free.

And I'm not worried about the fat content, it's just that I feel my cashews were violated, are unpure, adulterated, defaced... need I continue :D

LOL I hate cardio. I just think it would be easier to get it done at home. Then I can watch tv or something...

I've considered getting an elliptical & working out in front of the TV; then I realized I can bring the TV to my elliptical in the form of an iPod Video :) Watched many episodes & movies in this way. I usually just read the Economist or read a book while on the elliptical; my arms and feet move automatically. During Christmas break I tried doing a home HIIT circuit while watching TV (Burpees, Pushups, etc.)- useless, missed the whole damn movie lol.

LMAO, yes it is hard to watch anything when you are jumping all over the place. I think it would be hard to read and do an elliptical. But a treadmill and my fav shows that are the perfect 30-60 min time. Can't get off until its over, or the fasted am cardio while the kids get ready for school! That would be the best!! I would be a fat burning machine! ...or it would get alot of laundry on it..lol

Man, I saw a commercial this morning around 0345 with one of those belts. What a joke! I mean to think that I've been wasting all these years on regular crunches. ;)

It is much easier to do it at home. I pull out either the rowing machine or the exer-cycle in front of the TV and pop in a DVD like my many Battle For The Olympia's and get down with it!! :head:
