Big Boys throw down to lean out (Sponsored by Need to Build Muscle's N2 Burn.

Could not see taking time away from the family with the long road trip yesterday, so no work out, kept the diet pretty tight.

2007 cals (66 carbs, 158 protein [plus 12g bcaa], 121 fats), estimated burn of 3321

Yah you can work it in on lean gains fairly easily as I recall...

The Mexican food isn't bad really depending on the order. It's those damn baskets of free chips and salsa that get ya. They are like the ultimate will power tester! You feel like a champ if you can make it through with out touching them!!

Glad to see you guys to still busting your A$$!!!

I'm still lifting, but fighting some freaking lethargy from HELL! Have not had this problem before and I cannot shake it. I'm sure it is a mixture of cycle + life, but give me a break.

Anyone have a suggestion of what can be added to combat this sh!t?

I've run EPI before and did not have an issue with lethargy at all.

Sorry Meister, referesh my memory please. What are you running and at what week are you in?

NM, I see, still the Epi/Trans I assume. What doses are you at. I had this issue with my halo run about 5 weeks in. I know it is early, but thus far, I have been getting a bit of an energy boost shortly after I dose Epi, but everyone is different. Most documents I have read state that it usuually does not cause Lethargy.

The Trans is to prevent lethargy on cycle... maybe something to increase free test might help...

I'm at 60 mg EPI and 6 pumps TRANS.

Yah when i ate Mexican that was the tough part, I was starving and waiting and the chips and salsa were just sitting there....they didn't fit into my calorie count...

Just so you all know, I will not have dietary numbers for today. We had a carry in at work. I kept it clean, eating mainly from meat and chese tray (Roast Beef, Turkey Breast and Ham), did allow myself one white bread bun for a sandwich, the fruits and a bit of a mexican dip made with sausage and cream cheese (no chips). Steared clear of the pie and sweets completley.

Weathered the storm fairly well...

Sounds good. Nicely done.

Great way of handling it

In all honesty, I had to because I know on Thursday, I ain't holding back. May try to fill up on turkey and salad so the deserts don't call me as much, but other than that, whatevah!

Now that is what I am talking about.

Holidays do not make it easy when dieting! That is why I am sooo happy I am maintaining very well at around 10%-ish until after the 1st of the year, then it is on, I will get down to the leanest I have ever been by Summer and with this additional muscle I have packed on since the "Silver Surfer" back in 2008, I expect to look way better!

Nice Doc!

11/22/11 Day 2, wk 2 (MC7)
5:35-6:30 (8 minute cardio warm up to get a sweat rolling)
(PH day 5)
Deads - 295x3, 335x3, 380x2 (Wanted 4 here, kind of pissed me off, got 3 at this weight in MC 5, WTF?. Got to put this behind me and work towards 400 for next weeks DL session.)

Assisted Pull Up @ 205
10/10/10 (Slow neg, 10 second let down on last rep)this is 5 more pounds and 2 more reps than last week.

BO Med. Grip BB rpw @245 4/6 (Just was not feeling these tonight for some reason)

Magnum Lat Row Machine, parallel grip (Hit this because the way the BB rows went)
150x12, 170x10

Romanian Deadlift - 245x10, 255x10

Hanging Leg raise 15/15/12

Since I skipped cardio last night I went ahead and did some 5 stage variable resistance cardio, 5 min/stage, sprint the last 50 seconds. 25 total minutes, 121 cals.

As noted earlier, not sure about the dietary number but given that I did a good job of maintaining discipline, I doubt I went over 2600 cals on the day. Estimated burn of 4074.

Yea man! today I got a thanks giving party. Japan has a "thanks day" that is the day before thanks giving. So us americans are having a thanksgiving day.

BTW, I took what you had to say in my friend's log (manko Oyaji, btw, I dare any of you to look up what that means in Japanese... lol). Started a volume based program. Following some Kris Gethin (who I am a BIG fan of), and your lead.

I must say I like the workouts better. Easier for me to "get into".

Other than that me and my friends are going to start a combined log (notabear too) similar to this one!! Please check it out later. I'll drop a link when I start it. :D

11/22/11

Well my run of N2 Burn is coming to an end. While I was pleasantly surprised I don't think it is something that should be taking during a PCT. While I dropped some weight in the beginning I actually ended up gaining 4 lbs over all. I dropped down to 242 and stayed for a few weeks then went back up to 246. I feel a little leaner over all. Hopefully I will be able to get some pics and measurement after this weekend. Even though it is a holiday weekend.

Nice workout Jeff. I can't do DB flyes at all anymore, my RC won't hold up.

What if you backed down the EPI and leave the Trans alone? Have you tried that?

Have not tried it and I honestly don't want to, but if I need to I will. Today was awesome and I don't know what the difference was. I did pop 1 cap of Lipo 6 black for a little boost and maybe that did the trick, but I don't want to make it a habit.

I feel freaking swole as H3LL today though. Shirt fitting nice and tight. If I can keep this energy for a week, I'll post a new pic.

Hmm I wonder if the fat burning agent has helped with the lathargy. Maybe try it for a couple more days and see if good things continue.

I find that fatburners/energy stuff really help with lethargy ;)

Be interesting when its gone... I Miss mine usually lol.

Just keep an eye on your BP if you are gonna start bringing anythings with stims into it.

Some stims might raise BP but generally they would be more likely to increase heart rate. Yohimbe can increase BP for sure. There is a chance that Geranium might as well cuz it is supposed to constrict blood vessels. I have not heard of it increasing preasure though.

I do RC work every upper body lift day, I just don't log it. It has basically cured the bursitis in my right RC, we are still working on the left. Doing DB flyes is what screwed them both up, so I am never doing those again.

11-23-11

Got off work early today so I hit the gym early. Was planning on going out and visiting some family tonight but that looks like it wont happen. So tonight will be a relax night. Tomorrow I will be heading to the deer lease and see if I can take me out a Turkey for turkey day. Will be looking for bambi's daddy and mother as well as some piggy's. Let the bullets fly. One shot one kill that's my motto. LOL...:AR15firing:
