Yes we all learn brother! That's why I love life. My point was this kid is saying YOU CAN GET ALL YOUR PROTEIN FROM PROTEIN SHAKES AND NOT FOOD. That would be like saying you can get all your protein from milk, since whey, casein etc. Protein is derived from milk. That's also like saying YOU CAN GET ALL YOUR CARBS FROM SUPPLEMENTS, SINCE PRTOTEIN SHAKES are A SUPPLEMENT.
Also, I agree that protein only will not cause kidney damage, unless you show scientific proof otherwise. Ever notice when you have too much protein, shakes etc. Your piss is bubbly? Not good.
Higher*protein*intake improves both (13, 14, 15, 16). ... Bottom Line: A high protein*intake has been shown to accelerate*kidney damage*in people who have*kidney*disease. However, higher*protein*diets don't adversely affect kidney*function in healthy people.Jun 4,
Here's the raw deal... Take whatever you want. Eat however you want. Your kidneys are responsible for filtering out toxins. If you don't stay hydrated, they will fail.
As a bodybuilder, you know the importance of vitamins and minerals to help build muscle and provide energy. You might not know that your risk for kidney disease increases if you're a bodybuilder.*
Lots of things can make your urine foamy. ONE of those things is protein in your urine due to kidney failure. As you said, it is your kidneys' job to excrete toxins, of which protein itself is not. Kidneys typically do NOT excrete protein, no matter how much you consume, unless they are failing.
Your logic is that a failing kidney excrete protein so protein is bad for your kidneys is in credibly flawed. Failing kidneys also excrete blood, so does blood cause kidney failure too?
And just because protein getting past your kidneys can make your urine e foamy doesn't mean foamy urine is an indicator of kidney damage beyond all other diagnosis.
And we agree that long term use of supplements as your sole source of protein is not the ideal strategy...but that doesn't mean it is impossible to do for quite a while without issue. It depends on other factors. At the end of the day we only need chemicals and if we get them it doesn't matter how.
And, um, you can thrive on milk. As a matter of fact it is all a newborn cow will eat and that newborn calf will put on a ton of lean mass while doing so and be perfectly healthy. So if saying that getting all of your protein from supplements is like saying you can get all of your protein from milk then you have pretty much won the debate for me.
Ok, but if that is the case why spend an entire post before this one arguing in my favor?
Make sure you drink that water!
Wait! Water will fill your bladder. A full bladder will cause your urine to possibly become foamy. Foamy urine isn't good, it indicates kidney failure. So, wait, is water bad for your kidneys?
Must be. Your kidneys excrete toxins. Bodybuilders drink a lot of water and have higher rates of kidney damage. Water clearly is bad for your kidneys. *heavy sarcasm because I obviously am missing the point*
Hey bro, lmfao, just because I have a life, and I'm not here to quickly answer, doesn't mean you're right.
!
I know man, no worries. I was just wondering where you went...I am not around so much anymore either. And no, nothing means I am right. All we can go on is evidence. My offer still stands, if you are willing to spoon feed me your eviden e I will spoon feed you mine. Bring up so,e facts and studies supporting your point and I will provide the studies I have read. So far you have paraphrased a supposed study, but it didn't support any of your claims.
My point was you cannot get all your protein from supps. As far as kidney damage and protein... Show me the facts. Until then shhhh
Wait, show you the facts? You made the claims and then said you don't believe in spoon feeding facts? I offered to meet half way and show you facts supporting my hypothesis if you provided facts supporting your hypothesis.
But didn't you say that getting all your protein from supplements was like getting all your protein from milk? Babies and calves everywhere are at serious risk!
Maybe you should know the facts before you go making claims? Know the facts or shhhh
Show me a single case of kidney failure CAUSED by excessive protein. Just one. That's all I am asking.
He's taking his time to report back with a detailed reply.

Lol...I hope those responses didn't take too long. If he actually took time to think about them, I hope it wasn't much. I made two posts and he somehow quoted me 4 times...but whatever.
anyway, I am being hard on him but it's all in good fun. I hope my facetiousness isn't too much....
