How does muscletech get past DHSEA?
"In just seconds, an intense, glacial-like chill overwhelms the back of your throat. The subzero, arctic outbreak has begun! In virtually no time, it feels like your entire physiological profile is “freezing”"
"It’s the power of -320 degrees Fahrenheit. Three pharmaceutically inspired, cryogenic technologies never before seen within the realm of bodybuilding supplementation synchronize the muscle manipulating powers"
"designed to throw muscles into the most hardcore, anabolic state they’ve ever been in. The ultra-potent blend sets off a sequence of six growth-inducing elements guaranteed to make your muscles balloon to monstrous proportions … like you’ve never seen before!"

It would probably be worthwhile to say something like no people under 21 should use roids/PH.

Another Beginner Lifting routine is OVT. I also liked Rippetoe's 3x5.

Also, isn't the New 1AD a prohormone?

Someone should sticky this

I really want wet, fatty gains.

No muscle, no dry gains. Just straight up water and lard.

Can someone recommend me the almighty stack ?

Do I sound like a bad ass when I use the word 'STACK' ?

I say that I CYCLE everything and STACK it with x,y,z.

When I use the world 'CYCLE' and 'STACK' I really sound like a bad ass, mos 'def.

I usually do a cycle of protein shakes. It is a stack combined with water and protein powder STACKED. It makes an insane CYCLE.

I heard it's great for recomp.

A buddy of mine saw how much great progress I made in the gym, over a period of a few months mind you, and decided to start taking up lifting as a hobby. He's always been very skinny and tiny. I advised him against going to GNC. Well, guess what he did? He went to GNC anyway. He was like, "I bought a complete stack! I bought fish oil, omega-3's (lol - he didn't laugh, I did), amplified creatine monohydrate, a multivitamin, and protein. I'm getting so big, dude! It's sick!" As a kid, he always felt like he had to change himself to be accepted by different groups of people. I knew him as a skateboard kid with piercings. Now, I don't care much for labels, but this is the best way to explain it. He started dating some 'preppy' girl at one point and all of her friends would be decked out in American Eagle, Aeropostale, Abercrombie & Fitch, etc. Well, he ditched the piercings and skateboard, and started wearing A&F and such. He turned around and got his lip pierced again. It looks ridiculous. I've told him that. I've already scolded him for going to GNC. He'll fall for anything. He's a very gullible guy. The most ridiculous claim he made, based on the 'stack' be bought from GNC (pretty much sold his soul to the devil), he said, "Dude, I've gained about 12 lbs in 2 weeks! It's insane!" I asked him if he was taking steroids. He said no. So, I explained to him that there is no possible way he could gain 12 lbs in 2 weeks unless he was juicin'. He seems to believe and trust the people at GNC more than a close friend of his, so whatever. I at least get to pick on him and tease him for going to GNC. The only time I ever go there is if they have something I need immediately and if it's something that NP doesn't sell. Unfortunately, there is no Vitamin Shoppe around here.

I think it is a psychological thing that people think they are hard asses when they use the words 'STACK' and 'CYCLE' for even the most basic products.

Newsflash: I'm not impressed.

Lol time to slap your friend around a bit. Take him to lift with you. Show him that you are superior then maybe he'll pay attention.

When I go to the gym, I refer to everything as a 'stack' or 'cycle'.

Even my food+sleeping=stack.

Mustard+Ketchup+Ground Beef=stack.

Lets people know I'm in the ****ing zone. Esp the 13-14yr olds in the gym. They think I'm bad ass.

how about cycling that super stack cycle?

Eh anyone who thinks GNC will get them big loses 40 points off their IQ.

Haha, I understand the vocabulary annoyances. I can tolerate "cycle" though, since sometimes it's imperative that you use that kind of technique when using the product. Or maybe you're not talking about the verb and instead the adjective. Recomp annoys me the most though.

To not get off line, I think we need to make this a sticky.

I am not aware what the offical meaning of 'recomp' is supposed to be. I see it used frequently though.

I'm not familar with 99% of the bb'ing lingo.

Recomposition, which I believe is basically a cut.

Bodybuilding word of the day:

pound-age
-noun
1) The amount of weight that you use in an exercise, whether that weight is on a barbell, dumbbell, or exercise machine.

I was under the impression that 'recomp' is gaining muscle while losing fat.

.....which is very difficult unless you have an ultra strict diet and/or are on steroids, if not both.

Yes it means maintaining/gaining muscle mass while losing fat. This is possible by maintaining a clean diet around maintenance calories. It is a lot simpler at the early stages and endo's seem to have more success with it. Supplementation also helps to a certain extent.

Another thing is that it is not as fast as a cut at burning fat as you eat very close to maintenance calories, but you are less likely to rebound and can maintain this state indefinitely. This is what recomp means to me anyways.

x2. Also I think this would be a good sticky

I actually wondered what recomp was for a long time myself. Some of these things you dont catch on to as fast as others.

There should be a list of the normal BBing terms and their definitions, also including abbreviations.

for me cals need to be slightly above maintenance for it to work, I get next to no fat loss and no muscle gain if its slightly below maintenance

must be a new age thing. I'm old.

Yah your ancient, lol

It did only pop up as a term a few years ago, many people thought it impossible before that. Endo's could do it and those just stating out...

What changed? Just curious why it's deemed viable now... Supps?

It was always possible for some people. Yes I believe modern supplementation has made it possible for a lot more people. It is preferable for those that are tired of putting it on and taking it off.

Probably wouldn't be good for me because I'm a meso closer to the ecto end of the spectrum than the endo. I don't know though, heard Recreate is great for that kind of thing.

STICKY.

If you were going to use Recreate then I would eat just above maintenance if I were you.

First off, This is all information from my own personal knowlege. I am a human just like everyone else so I may be misinformed on some things as well as not have everything in here that deserves to be. I am just kinda tired of reading all the dumb questions and questions that are common sense.

Prohormones/ Designer Steroids:
If you are new to lifting (less than at least 1 year) I would say avoid them. Avoid them anyways. Yes they get you big quick, yes they get you repected by other becasue of size. No they are not safe. They inhibit your growth their after for each future cycle you run there ater. Also, if you are a new person to lifting, they are pointless because you will see new improvements on your lifts, BF%, and Body weight just by keeping a good diet and doing excercise properly. Prohormone/designers should not be taken until you are 21 years of age, and no this is not to be mean, this is to save and protect you. All in all, if you can avoid prohormones/ designers for as long as you can. They cause much problems if not taken with a proper support and SERM/PCT for post cycle. No novedex-xt by gaspari nutrition is not a serm, sorry your local supplement store misinformed you! for PCT/Serm help click here

Workouts:
If you are at a plateau try changing your workout. Popular workouts include the following:

-Bill Starr 5x5 Madcow format (Mass/ strength)
-German Volume training
-HIT
-Custom Workouts
-Bulgarian style lifting
-OVT
-Ripptoe 3x5

Diet
A diet is the soul most important thing to helping you achieve results. This is regardless of whether you are bulking, cutting, or recomping.
For a Bulk, i recommend a high carb, high protein diet.
For a cut, i would recommend a high protein low carb diet.

Ratio of importance between diet/excercise/supplementation:
Although this is not a set ration i have found the most effective for me to be the following. I know others follow this similar ratio as well. this ratio depends on what you are trying to do, but this is the basic one.

40%-Protein
40%-Carbs
20%-Fat

Supplements worth your while:
here is a list of supplements people have seen decent results with. Their may be some missing but here is the gist...

Make sure to read the rules on the forum

This will help you as the beginner get a better understand of what ot expect from AM dot com. Also, make sure to post your questions indepthly. Listing goals, your stats, ect and they are sure to be answered to their fullest extent!

Conclusion:
Before attempting prohormones or any supplementation make sure to tweak your diet and workout first. You can take whatever supplement you want and yes you will see results, but no where what you could have compared to a proper diet and routine while on them.
Remember, supplementation is the last point to follow in this sequence! Results will come. Patience is key. You get out of it what you put into it.

I hope this helps some people. I know this isnt that great of information but i am sitting in class bored right now. if you all have any other thoughts let me know please :-D:bruce2:
