You would avoid much of your troubles in these discussions by simply verifying what you are saying, rather than regurgitate it from whatever forum, website or television program you heard it from. Honestly.
I will not do the leg work for you, but pursuant to U.S.C., 21 §§ 331 (a) (c) (d) and (k) these companies were in clear and knowing violation of the law, however corrupt you may feel it to be. Subsequently and (again) knowingly, these companies were thus subjected to the penalties and seizures contained in U.S.C., 21 §§ 333 and 334.
A compound not on the "banned list" is still subject to regulations concerning the manufacture, sale, distribution and labeling of drugs, devices and dietary supplements pursuant to the provisions of the FDCA.
None of this should be shocking and/or the cause of so much uproar: these companies, of whomever they may be comprised, knowingly produced, sold and distributed illegal substances fully cognizant of the possible penalties attendant thereto. All this jostling over the specific legalities (see: separate from the normative musings on the subject) is quite silly.
It was, is, and will continue to be in the future, illegal to manufacture, process, package, distribute and sell new drugs and/or drug-like compounds without approval. Shedding ideological tears for a D.S., manager is like mourning for a crack dealer who was shot on the job: namely, in that whether or not you feel "drug consumption" should be legal is highly irrelevant to the fact that he was subject to the possible penalties of his chosen profession.
That is the most intellectual way I have seen it put mullet. I understand, and this is what I think B was standing by to a degree, just spewing too much venom for me not to rise to the issue of a conflict...guess its 22 year old stupid delusional pride though :speechless: I can fully understand why the FDA is pursuing its current path. This time leaving, likely, no loopholes.
In another thread I posted after some thought these last few days I wouldnt mind being natural forever. But its still the issue of freedom and "protection"(see below) that I have issues over.

I may not know the whole worlds worth of information, law, etc. But I dont float well with restrictions. I can deal with hell, debt, pain, and so on. Just dont restrict me. This is the only thing I will fight tooth and nail for. It may not make sense to you, you are twice my age, but that doesnt make you god of the supplement industries ethics. But you can very well classify me as a 22yo whatever you want.
Nor do I have to justify myself to you. You get your way, because the FDA is already on a war footing. "The dye is cast" so to say. No undoing it.
But you think you have the right to deem what is best for other people. The point is I dont need your protection from myself. Such as someone who wants to stack 4 methyls has that choice, be it stupid or not yeah. Or those who cant cycle and miss out on their beer parties. But the point is, if it is correctly labeled.
Such as with CEL, who tested and labeled theirs correctly, then the person is the only one responsible. I dont need the governments protection, it is by the ruse of protection that my rights are stripped slowly over hte years. I cant carry a gun and protect myself, because we have "police" for that. A woman cant protect herself with a damn restraining order. WTF does a piece of paper do to a pissed off ex convict who was sent tp prison for beating her when he gets out.... NOTHING, but its ok she is "protected" by that mighty paper given out by the government.
We have to be at constant war to "protect" our freedom and our land...WTF, bring hte boys home, fix the economy. The terrorists are winning. Morally, physically(look at the real reports from over there), and economically. Hell their weed comes into this nation, to support their war...we support their damn war(well I dont smoke, but Americans as a whole).
