AZ Heating Up With Andro Rx

I'm another one for the early days.......alarm goes off at 3:30 for the wife, and I usually lay in bed til a little after 4 before getting up and heading to the gym.

AZ - I've been too close to getting hit on the narrow back country roads where I live, so I drive 45 mins to bike trails. FL has some very nice LONG paved trails, a couple of them are over 35 miles each direction, just out through the forests, along lakes & rivers, etc. Really nice. Otherwise I'd probably ride that early in the AM too.

Sounds like you had a great ride and you and your son have a great relationship. That is awesome - makes me miss my boy even more - he is in Afghanistan right now.

dang there's a lot of catching up to do. i hope i have your strength when i'm 50 - i'm very impressed with the numbers man.

Im up early too. Buisness owner. You ever have to toss around the occasional smart a$$ AE?

There was a history teacher at my HS that was into bodybuilding. He would be the go-to guy for breaking up fistfights. Like, before the security guards even.

sadly I have broken up a fight or two. In fact, on more than one ocassion students will try to see how far they can push. It was always better when I coached (football and wrestling) then it was legal :) Mostly the kids like to challenge me to arm wrestling, it always cracks me up

That would make me laugh too, and I would be game every time. Must be fun smashing on them, just don't break any arms.

Girl - 10
Boy - 7
Boy - 5

No resting with that group Silver. You are a busy man bubba! I have a 17yr old and a 5yr old. My son is pretty much low maintenance and the girl is major high maintenance. She is in the living room right now with 2 of her friends eating popcorn and watching a movie. I am entertaining tonight.

Day 14:

Triceps: CGBP 135-15,185-10,225-3, DC set 235-12-5-4. Rested a minute and went to standing extensions. It's not a push down. I hold the elbows next to my sides and only pivot from elbows out...DC set 80-18-8-5. DC stretch after.

Back Width: This one was for BigPR...Neutral grip chins DC set BW 16-6-4. Had a great pump from these. Went to behind the neck pull downs 120-10,130-5, DC set 150-8-5-4. Did the DC hanging stretch for a minute.

Back Thick: DB Rows 60-10,70-10, DC set 90-11-5-5. Went to neutral grip sitting cable rows 120-10,140-8,160-5, DC set 180-10-5-4. My back was feeling very full right now. I ended with 3 sets of 12 hypers holding a 35lb plate to my chest. Stick a fork in me...I'm done.

Overall a great w/o. Solid aggression all the way through and the pump is getting better. I weighed in at 207 so the cals are paying off. I have had a mild headache today and felt a bit lethargic this morning. I will be increasing my water intake and giving in to a few more carbs as well. Another side I have noticed is some swamp ass. My wife is getting a little miffed with this aspect. I am having some crude fun with it though. I tea bagged my son the other night....it was classic! Feeling nice and full so things are picking up.

Nice workout AZ... After that, i bet you were toast! lol

Keep it up brotha! This is looking to only get better with the added cals!

Gotta love the swamp ass tea bag. Tren had my temp up major and I had a constant sweaty sack and ass. Glad to hear the extra cals are working their magic.

Best of both worlds! Eat more and grow...

This last 2 weeks should be good.

Nice chins

No where near your realm but I have a goal to shoot for!!

Now thats a back workout of God-like proportions. Db rows DC style make me want to vomit, almost every time.:puke:

No doubt...it's like one giant rest pause set!

Thanks Sunny! Felt great doing this w/o!

Day 15:

Off day today. I can't believe that I am not sore from yesterdays W/O. I am not a young guy here and the day after W/Os is usually pretty rough. I am very happy with my recovery from the 1-Andro. Tomorrow I will be riding in the morning. My buddy says he wants to do a 4000 ft climb. Oh shnykies...then do legs on Monday!! Hello 1-Andro...

4K foot climb? I'd have to ride from here to upper Georgia to experience that. No thanks bro - good luck with that. This is one time I'm thankful for the flatness of FL.

Great work on that back workout and also those CG presses man.

Day 16:

I don't know how I will be tomorrow for my leg w/o. Today was killer. We ended up riding for 2 hours. Some legs of the climb we were doing 5 mph. I was dying!! I am going to have to carb up like crazy today. I can't even imagine the cals I burned from that ride. One cool thing was hitting 45 mph on the way down....I was just a little nervous but kept going. Needless to say, I will be laying around today and feeding my face. Let's see what 1-Andro can do for my recovery!!

Thanks Noles...and I hope your son comes home soon!

It's going to be interesting to see how you do tomorrow. The legs can only repair so fast. Glad you're seeing the improved recovery. That's always my favorite aspect of hormones.

It is a riot, and I try to get in their heads more than anything. Everytime I see the most recent ding-a-ling I ask him how is arm is, or make some other comment. He needed to be knocked down a peg of 2 :)

i cant believe you teabagged your son hhahaa...lookin great bro! Looking foward to hearing about that leg workout tomorrow

Sounds like it was a great ride - I can feel your pain on the 5 mph uphill thing, you almost feel like dismounting and walking it up, but that inner drive and WILL to go on is stronger brother. Great job. You must've burnt 3K cals.....because my flatland workout burnt approx 1600.

Enjoy your Memorial Day - and thank for the comment on my son. Its tough on the wife, as I spent my 7 months in Iraq 2 years ago, retired last year, only to have him join and now he's in the Stan. She's proud, but worries constantly.

Day 17:

I felt sluggish when I started but I finished OK. I did my AB routine for endurance and then hit the weights. I use a 1 minute rest between my warm up sets.

Biceps: Sitting incline DB 35-15,40-10,45-5 and DC set 50-12-5-5. I rest for 1 minute and then hit the forearms.

Forearms: Pinwheels one set DB 45-20

Calves: Standing BB on calf block 135-15,185-10,225-5, DC set 275-12-5-5

Hamstrings: Prone Plate load machine 45-10,50-10, DC set 60-14-6-6. I just can't get a muscle connection with my hamstrings. I am trying to keep the weight low and focus on the form. I am finally starting to get a pump when I do it this way.

Quads: BB squat 135-20,185-10,225-5, was fading so I just said F it and finished with 275-20. I actually felt strong all the way through. That set was 1-Andro powered!

Not a bad finish considering how I felt before the w/o. I have noticed the lethargy seems to be coming into play more. I pop my Core Zap before and I am ready to rock. Weight today is 206.5. I think I need to pick the eating up even more. I want to get the most out of this last 2 weeks.

Noles, I could not imagine the worries of having my son over there. You and your son have my utmost respect bubba!

It was not a walk in the park. I got to 10 and felt great...pounded 5 more and just said I'm staying in it for 20. Curled up on the floor after though...

It's definitely a mental game after a point.

You are so right on that. My son is finally learning that point....how strong the mind is in influencing his outcome. He popped 320-10 today. Kid has some strong legs!

WOW AZ!!! everytime i see your numbers, im just floored! I am humbled by this yet so encoarged by it! :notworthy:

And your son is goin to be a big and strong cat if he keeps this up. What am i saying:? He is already! Glad hes seeing the MENTAL side of things and how, if your mentally stronger you can go along ways in things that you thought you wouldnt be able to!!

275 for 20 is something. Nice job on that lift AZ. So isnt seated incline curls with 50s. Good power there for sure.

Yikes - 275x20. LOL - I've never even considered 275 for a widow set. Ahhh, maybe when I'm in my prime like you.......certainly something to look forward to.

On the hammy's - I never get as good a workout from any type of ham curls as I do from SLDLs or GHRs. SLDLs you can do anywhere, but GHRs you need the right setup, which may not be an option in your garage unless you have some welding skills and build your own.

Nonetheless - another solid workout and AFTER that crazy bike ride to be able to do squats at all is saying ALOT about your recovery and endurance.

Wow killer workout man!

My legs are sore from your workouts over the weekend. :-) I drank too much (first time drinking in a while and tolerance went to crap) on Saturday and would have puked my guts out if I hit my legs. Instead I took the puss way out and did 40+ min on the elliptical and bike.

Actually, you got in a good sweat and probably did way more than you would have before. You are making all the great choices Silver. The thought process is totally different now.....props to you Champ!

Thats amazing I'ma try 300 for 20 next go around.

I'm learning a lot and getting new ideas from your log, your doing great AZ

Day 18:

Off day today and I needed one. I think the ride and legs day caught up to me today. I feel good but I am moving with some aches and pains. I will relax and eat like there is no tomorrow. Otherwise, the lethargy has pretty much stayed the same and the sleep has been very solid with no more hunger wake-up calls. Looking forward to tomorrow...

Man, I have been sleeping like a rock too. Straight crashed out EVERY night.

It's nice when you can wake up feeling like you actually got some rest. I hate waking up feeling trashed.

Looking good big guy. When i did the 20 rep squat routine i got up to 305 for 20, then i started getting exertion headaches, and had to quit, goal was 315 for 20. doing 275 for 20 just because sounds like you are punishing yourself!!!!:frustrate

I am pushing myself and the 1-Andro keeps me from paying the price. The recovery aspect is the biggest plus so far for me.
