Interesting experiment today...combo blended topical fat burner with some NO sensitizing compounds and a slight diuretic....worked pretty well to lean out my arms today.

Going to keep playing and see if it's repeatable.

interesting. did you notice any lessening of joint issues at the same time?

My joint have been acting nicely lately, so I haven't had that issue.

/knock on wood.

I actually hold most of my water in my arms. I hold upper body fat rather than lower body for the most part. Diet is my key. However I might try this as well to get ready for the Arnold.

Make my arms smaller??

That's the last ****ing thing I need.

Be sure you wash your hands before you pee.

Side Note: Appears to work well on Chin fat, too.

Which topical base are you using for this?

Original lipoderm-Y is some of it.

The rest is my own concoction, as are the additional ingredients. Excellent synergy so far.

Christine and I both used it today - me on my arms and forearms, and she on her upper back and shoulder separations.

The other question is whether it is all diuretic effect or actual fat reduction, but the evidence for the ingredients is compelling that it is true fatloss.

Based on the exposure to air, this will need to be lightly scented - but the form of the creamish lotion absorbs and dries VERY quickly.

You my friend are a mad scientist. It seems like everytime I get on this board your inventing something new.

Maybe drop the NO portion, and market it as an "anti-grandma-arms" product?

by NO sensitizing compounds, we are talking fruit based polyphenol and cyanidin-based molecules - NOT arginine, etc.

I'm especially interested in Christine's results, as I have been observing the gym heavily lately and notice arms to be the second hardest places to lose fat from.

I'm giving another few days on this, then I'll toss out some betas close to cost.

Ok.

With the NO portion, I was thinking more along the lines of vascularity. I could really see this being a hit with some of the females, as they have a tendency to store a lot of fat along the triceps.

1st! def down to test out a beta.By the sounds, I'm guessing if you dedcide to go to full production, this won't be too long to put together?

vascular tissue (especially in women, I find) becomes nonresponsive to NO. Keeping endothelial tissues healthy will not only help to increase peripheral blood flow (thus enhancing lipolysis) but enhance workouts as well.

The tricep/delt area is actually what I was thinking - stubborn lumps of goo that is highly unattractive - and extremely frustrating to both men and women.

the formula is solid on paper, and like i said the only reason I am waiting is to make sure we are not just seeing massive water elimination.

then again, even being able to reduce bloating locally has a purpose.

Not just cerebral blood flow, either

Vascular action of polyphenols.
Ghosh D, Scheepens A.

Functional Food and Health, The Horticulture and Food Research Institute of New Zealand Ltd., Auckland, New Zealand.

Dietary patterns are widely recognised as contributors to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease. Endothelial function, the elastic properties of large arteries and the magnitude and timing of wave reflections are important determinants of cardiovascular performance. Several epidemiological studies suggest that the regular consumption of foods and beverages rich in flavonoids is associated with a reduction in the risk of several pathological conditions ranging from hypertension to coronary heart disease, stroke and dementia. The impairment of endothelial function is directly related to ageing and an association between decreased cerebral perfusion and dementia has been shown to exist. Cerebral blood flow (CBF) must be maintained to ensure a constant delivery of oxygen and glucose as well as the removal of waste products. Increasing blood flow is one potential way for improving brain function and the prospect for increasing CBF with dietary polyphenols is extremely promising. The major polyphenols shown to have some of these effects in humans are primarily from cocoa, wine, grape seed, berries, tea, tomatoes (polyphenolics and nonpolyphenolics), soy and pomegranate. There has been a significant paradigm shift in polyphenol research during the last decade. This review summarises our current knowledge in this area and points the way for the development of new types of functional foods targeted to brain health through improving vascular health.

dsade...I would be very interested in beta testing this for you...I have skinfold caliper measurements that show that arms are the most stubborn area for me to lose fat...even though my caliper readings go down everywhere else they sometimes even rise on the tricep...

create a dermal that increases muscle tissue. site specifically and you'll be having breakfast with bill gates.:D

Figured I'd bump this-sounds like a very interesting product.Def be down to try a beta

I'm impressed with this so far. I got enough ingredients to knock out 25 or so betas.

Expect to see these next week as betas.

@ NP? or by your private selection? :)
I like that...a new brand - "DSADE'S PRIVATE RESERVE"

These'll go through Nutra.

Side note - also seems to be working to lean out my armpit\pec area.

so my question (that noone else has yet asked) is why is this particularly good on the arms, and not necessarily so good on other areas like goddamn love handles?

For one...insulin seems to play a strong part in these stubborn areas from what I am finding, therefore.......

Abstract

Resveratrol is a naturally occurring diphenolic compound exerting numerous beneficial effects in the organism. The present study demonstrated its short-term, direct influence on lipogenesis, lipolysis and the antilipolytic action of insulin in freshly isolated rat adipocytes. In fat cells incubated for 90 min with 125 and 250 μM resveratrol (but not with 62.5 μM resveratrol), basal and insulin-induced lipogenesis from glucose was significantly reduced. The antilipogenic effect was accompanied by a significant diminution of CO2 release and enhanced production of lactate. The inhibition of glucose conversion to lipids found in the presence of resveratrol was not attenuated by activator of protein kinase C. However, acetate conversion to lipids appeared to be insensitive to resveratrol.

In adipocytes incubated for 90 min with epinephrine, 10 and 100 μM resveratrol significantly enhanced lipolysis, especially at lower concentrations of the hormone. However, the lipolytic response to dibutyryl-cAMP, a direct activator of protein kinase A, was unchanged. Further studies demonstrated that, in cells stimulated with epinephrine, 1, 10 and 100 μM resveratrol significantly enhanced glycerol release despite the presence of insulin or H-89, an inhibitor of protein kinase A. The influence of resveratrol on epinephrine-induced lipolysis and on the antilipolytic action of insulin was not abated by the blocking of estrogen receptor and was accompanied by a significant (with the exception of 1 μM resveratrol in experiment with insulin) increase in cAMP in adipocytes. It was also revealed that resveratrol did not change the proportion between glycerol and fatty acids released from adipocytes exposed to epinephrine.

Results of the present study revealed that resveratrol reduced glucose conversion to lipids in adipocytes, probably due to disturbed mitochondrial metabolism of the sugar. Moreover, resveratrol increased epinephrine-induced lipolysis. This effect was found also in the presence of insulin and resulted from the synergistic action of resveratrol and epinephrine. The obtained results provided evidence that resveratrol affects lipogenesis and lipolysis in adipocytes contributing to reduced lipid accumulation in these cells.

Stupid slow-shippers.

No res yet - so betas won't go out until next week. Even without the Res, though, the formula is damn potent. Insta-vascular.

Scent is there, but mild.

OBJECTIVE: To find out whether lipid stores are influenced by phenolic compounds in wine. DESIGN: Differentiated 3T3-L1 cells were treated with catechin, epicatechin or procyanidin extracts with different degrees of polymerization at 150 microM for different periods of time (0.5-24 h). SUBJECTS: Cell line 3T3-L1. MEASUREMENTS: Cellular viability, glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase activity, glycerol release in the medium, HSL mRNA levels, triacylglycerols and protein. RESULTS: Catechin, epicatechin and procyanidin extracts were not toxic for the 3T3-L1 cells in the conditions assayed. Glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase activity was markedly decreased by 150 microM procyanidin extracts. The release of glycerol into the medium was increased in 150 microM procyanidin extract-treated cells and reached a plateau after 15 h exposure. Procyanidins caused a time-dependent reduction in the HSL mRNA levels. CONCLUSIONS: These results suggest that procyanidins from grape and wine affect lipid metabolism whilst their monomers (catechin and epicatechin) do not. This effect is more pronounced when the degree of polymerization is higher. Procyanidin extracts cause a time-dependent reduction in the HSL mRNA levels, inhibit triacylglycerol synthesis and also favour triacylglycerol hydrolysis until the HSL mRNA had reached very low levels.

this sounds great D. I am in to give the beta a run. I carry a little fat at the end of the biceps. Drives me friggin looney

Dsade,
What do you think arm define would do for my arms?
Here they be mate: Invalid Link Removed

i want some!!! after 1 run of Napalm, i am a huge topical fatloss fan. this sounds perfect for my summer slimdown!!!

Hopefully shooting some betas out this week.

By the way, it does work great on abdominals, too.

grrr...could.....have.....used.....this.....earlier..
We got lots of time.....

Let's say we start trickling out ingredients and see who can figure out why they are included.

First ingredient......Bergenin.....

Discuss.
