Are you #&%*ing serious?!? ANABOLIC EDGE (Spons.), ACTIVATE XTREME, IGF-2 & PRIME!!!

hahahaha reps for that one...
btw the liquid whey protein tastes like ass...
you had the ISO PURE drinks?? I think they taste alright... well better then alright, I actually like them... but Ive been downing ass nasty supps for a while so in comparison its a delicacy.

It's exotic sushi compared to some of the protein powders I've had to chew down in the past.

I'm an old dinosaur. I started working out in 1983. Back then I had Bob Hoffman's Protein Powder. It tasted like fukkin' powdered pork skins. No lie. Most awful sh!t ever to try and choke down. When I upgraded to Weider's Dymanic Muscle Builder, I thought I had died and gone to Valhalla!!

Shaddow used to be a scientist at a NASA Space Station Lab, and because he was required to work in zero gravity conditions, the program required that he resistance trained everyday to prevent muscle atrophy.

A biochem company wanted to test out a new serum that would keep skeletal muscle in a steady hypetrophic state to extend the body's ability to perform extended missions in space, but rather then growing in size, the muscles grew in density as to prevent the muscle from outgrowing the spacesuits or severely altering the aesthetics of the scientists. Only 5ml was required to achieve this steady hypertrophic density state for 72 hours.

Shaddow brings his on-the-go, liquid Whey protein with him to work Invalid Link Removed

A hater at the space station wanted to off Shaddow because he kept hogging the attention of the female scientists, so he filled Shaddows entire liquid whey protein with this serum, in hopes that it would kill him, or at least keep him away from work long enough to get himself some female scientist chicken heads.

Following a normal training session, Shaddow downs his liquid whey, which was actually filled with the special serum. However, he ingested over 100x's the allotted amount of this serum and fell to the ground. He felt his body becoming harder and harder, until his muscles became so dense, that it was like steel, and this became a permanent effect because his system was so overwhelmed and over-saturated.

The only thing that can kill Shaddow is swimming, he's too damn heavy to float, and that strange Pentagram of veins in his forearms, which will be revealed later.
:jaw:

Dooooooood! LOL! That was awesome! :toofunny::toofunny:

I'm actually trimming up quite nicely! Granted this isn't an all out cut, but just a gradual "firming" before the madness begins... Was 184.5 this morning.

My cuts are no bullsh*t... 20 pounds in 3 weeks. Guessing I used to lose some LBM before fights...

Day 24: Tuesday, October 14

Weight: 188 (+7.2)

Workout #10 on stack - LEGS :woohoo: & ABS :jaw:!!!

I guess I'm working out 4 days this week. I think I want to switch to an EOD routine next week. Still gotta come up with a new routine. I'm thinking a DC/HST hybrid with a twist. Anyone got any suggestions?

Ok, first leg workout since my hamstring injury about 7 or 8 weeks ago, and it was brutal - even with light weights! I focused on form here, obviously. Slow, controlled reps.

Started out with a good, long, deep stetch (have to), and 2 miles on the stationary bike.

ATG squats
95 x 15
115 x 12
135 x 10
155 x 8

Weaksauce! And I was hurting after the 3rd set! LOL.

Sled leg press
180 x 12
270 x 10
360 x 8

Sumo deadlifts
135 x 12
135 x 12

Leg extensions
150 x 12
175 x 10
200 x 8

Pretty short workout, but I was pretty much toast at this point. Decided to hit some ab work the first time since July. It sucked!

Way to battle through all the adversity shaddow. You have the heart of a true warrior-born. I'm sure the hammy was hurting during all of this. Just take it one step at a time bro. That's a great first workout back at it. It's just gonna get better and better from here on out!!

Yeah, 20# in 3 weeks is a lot! Wait, are you cutting for a fight soon? My summer cut was pretty brutal too. 185 to ~170, strictly low-carbing it with zero cardio. Definitely lost some LBM, but I was ripped to the t. Good times. But now I'm fighting for more mass! :aargh::aargh::aargh:

Thanks, bro! Ya know, the squats actually also destroyed my quads almost immediately, but after the first few reps on deads my hamstrings were screaming!! I stuck it through though, but it was rough!

It's always funny pushing weights after an injury, cuz you feel like such a pussy doing it. LOL. It's a good thing I don't care what other people think about me in the gym!

:bruce1:

Oh, the "madness" threw you off. Thats the end of year M-Drol run.
Ahhhhhh! Very nice!

Hey guys, if I may ask your opinions -

I have Havoc & T-Roid on hand, and I'm thinking about running one soon on a bulk, and probably using the other on a cut around March. Which would you use for what? Or should I run them together  and use something else on my bulk? Looking for any feedback you guys might have. TIA!!

Run them together, obviously. Hell, throw some H-drol in there, too.

And why not some TP?...1g/wk sounds pretty good.

Tren Ace...50mg/ED.

WOOOOO!!! Now we're talkin'!

Haha, squats do that to me as well. I've only been able to get through 2 full sets so far at my target weight before my body's like "wtf are you doing to me?". But then again, I haven't squatted since college. The worst IOMs of my life occurred from a squat-inclusive leg workout. Fell in love immediately :P

Yeah, IOM's for sure! LOL! I'd never even squatted before until this past year. Doctors had always told me not to cuz of my knees/back. I finally just said "**** it!" and decided to do it anyways. And I'm glad I did!

Even before my injury, I was only squatting 225-275 tops, so it shouldn't take me too long to get back up to that. There's the one upside to coming back from an injury after being a pussy!

LOL. No seriously though. I'm stumped guys. Anyone?

No, seriously. I did a stack pretty much just like that back in the day.

If you mean with just what you have, then go with just the top portion. Run the Havoc and T-Roid together. A dry compound + a more wet compound. Solid.

I was under the impression that they are both relatively dry compounds?

Day 25: Wednesday, October 15

Weight: 188.2 (+7.4)

DAY OFF.

I feel good today. Sore, but good. My muscles are feeling pretty full - more so than usual. Actually, I think this has become gradually more pronounced over the past few weeks.

Chillin' today. Back & tris tomorrow. Shoulders Friday. New routine Monday. :woohoo:

The fullness/hardness is amazing. This is the hardest my muscles have ever been, a constant pump.

Your stack rocks by the way. But I was wondering if you had any thoughts relating specifically to Anabolic Edge. I bought a bottle during the current release promotion at NP, and am waiting a bit to use it (want to try Hemodraulix alone before introducing this, and I am very excited about both). I'm hoping for enhanced endurance and recovery between sets, but am also hoping for some enhanced hypertrophy and maybe even strength gains from the aromatase inhibiting effects. Am I expecting too much?

After reading your log I decided to do some ATG squats. I had to laugh because I heard 2 guys discussing squat technique, and mentioning to eachother how my knees were going in front of my shins. I wanted to see them do ATG with their knees going straight up, they would land smack dab on the arse. It's physics!

There's a tradeoff to going low though. Tons of extra stress on your knees. Be sure to listen to them :) Totally worth it though. Man, I'm still struggling with my squats hah.

LMAO shaddow,

We seriously had bout the same peak on our working squat weight pre-injury(225 was my comfortable working weight, want to get knee wraps and a back brace(belt) before going over that again, knees sound like pop corn even with 225) and came back and hit approx the same weight again (cept I did a 10,20,10 of only 135)..... dude this was saturday and TODAY my legs are almost 100% but are still sore on the outside of my quads.... I love it. They are gonna grow like crazy I can feel it.

225 is at the low end of my comfortable working weight... truth be told - I'm not sure I ever want to go much past that for that very reason. I know you guys have different goals than I do - so kick the sh*t out of those PR's, but injuring my knees scares the crap out of me...

Squats and Deads are best mass builders, you go for them Shaddow :head: Invalid Link Removed :aargh:

Absolutely, my first squats were done without a belt and I almost paid for it. After my first set, I felt a twinge in the back, and a trainer walked by and handed me an Inzer to borrow. I highly recommend even the low end Inzer which'll run you about 38 bucks.

Hey, bro! As much as I wish I could talk specifically about the AE to shed some light on things for you, here's the problem. This is the first time for me taking 1) Anabolic Edge, 2) Activate Xtreme, 3) IGF-2, and 4) Prime. For that reason, it would clearly be impossible for me to determine specific effects from any one compound vs. the others, or possible synergistic effects, etc. Therefor my feedback has been, and will continue to be, based on the stack as a whole. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I don't see how I could even pretend to attempt saying AE is causing ____, AX is causing _____, Prime is making me _____, etc. Nah mean?

Yeah, that'd be quite a balancing trick!

I completely understand. On a side note, I left my AEdge in the cabinet today and took a full dose of Hemodraulix. F**KING AMAZING. I broke a PR even when I shoulda been fatigued, and had to stop myself today. Prime had been increasing my endurance in the gym lately (or so I attribute it to), but today was a whole other level. Gonna go log that sh*t.

I have actually always heard the opposite. Not going low enough can cause muscular imbalances which can damage the knees, quarter squats are dangerous, etc.. I dunno, I have never quite done squats this deep before, but I liked it. I have bad knees (3 operations; 2 & 1) AND an old spinal injury (slipped disc, slipped vertebrae, and fracture in my lumbar), so I think I'll know before most people would if squatting this deep causes any issues or complications. LOL. Day one was cool. I'll be sure to let you guys know if I blow out my knees doing them though.

Good points :P Are you feeling any pressure in your back? My bulged disks have caused a slight musculature imbalance (not visible, but I've corrected most of it through therapy), and I'm doing my best to keep it safe. I was told not to squat, but I've done my due diligence in strengthening my core. Besides, I'm not doing squats if I can't go low with them...

Yeah, I might look into knee wraps, cuz my knees are a bit of a mess. They sound like Rice Krispies & milk!

I'll be honest though, I'm not so sure about the belt anymore. I'd been using it for squats, deads and overhead presses, and now I'm starting to feel like it's actually not helping. My overhead presses have actually gone down since I began using a belt. Don't know if it's related, just saying. Also, I did my squats and deads yesterday without a belt and I actually felt more natural with the movement. I dunno. I'm gonna try to get through the rest of the week without it and reassess, but I'm not so sure it really helped anything to begin with, and I'm probably gonna exclude it for the time being. Maybe I'll need it again if I get REALLY heavy. I can't really say..

Of course, by no means am I trying to tell YOU not to use one. Just my personal observations from my recent workouts. :)

Yeah, I remember metroba saying good things about Hemo. Interesting. I'll have to look into it. However, next up for me I think is going to be a DS.

No pressure. Again, I only made it up to 155lbs. this week though. But they were tough! LOL!

Let's see, I injured my back in like... 2000? I had sciatica on and off for roughly the next 5 years. I also had the muscular imbalance, and with my shirt off, you could look at me from the back and see this large area of increased muscle from the middle of my spine at my lumbar off to my side, where my muscles were tighter from tensing up so much. It took me a while to get past the sciatica though. I had many a tough workouts in those years where I was only fighting because I kept telling myself 'It's just a nerve, it's not gonna kill you.'

I feel your pain though! Back pain ****ing blows, man. I've had a lot of different injuries and setbacks. And I mean A LOT! I can honestly say that breaking my back was by far the second most painful thing that's ever happened to me. And trust me, that means a lot!

well youve done a great job getting everything looking symmetrical sciatica nerve pain BLOWS, mine was buggin on me right at the start of my Prime run... thank goodness it hasnt come back since, that constant burning pain BLOWS.

Nerve meds did it wonders though.

MetroBadAss is the reason I bought it, lol.

And dayum dude. A broken back... huge respect for the strength and determination to not only get through that but to work through and build to your current physique. Amazing.

They make meds for that?! Geezus I have the worst luck with doctors... I sat through a full year of searing pain running down my legs, often to the point of complete weakness (picture falling down with a yelp like a f'ing retard (pardon those who might be offended by my insensitivity there...) walking to class back in 2001. Embarrasing and painful. A few hot-chick-pity-moments, but... ugh. It's crazy what a bit of inflammation, spasms, and a poorly situated nerve can do. Still my story is boring compared to you guys lol.
