I'm going to preface this by telling you that my triceps and lats are still SORE AS ****. What the hell? I thought these supps were supposed to limit/reduce DOMS?? I can't remember the last time my triceps were this sore. Damn.

Don't know what happened here, but these were giving me trouble so I decided to move on and see what I could do with the dumbbells, cuz I'll be damned if I wasn't gonna put up those ****ing 70's today. :rant: Honestly, I'm sure my triceps held me back a bit initially, cuz they are still pretty wrecked from Wednesday's workout (which, btw, I never mentioned it, but the rope triceps extensions @ 175 x 6... That was a PR).

Had a buddy come spot me on that last set ONLY if I needed it, and got the first 6 unassisted and the last 2 with assist. PR, baby. I'm calling it 220 x 6, and I've just simply never attempted to go that high before, so, yeah, I'm stoked!!!

My grip proved to be the weak point here and the dumbbells were slipping. I need to work on my grip next week. Maybe even this weekend if I can fit in a workout sometime.
I was still feeling pretty alive and energetic at this point, so I decided, what the ****, let's try and push some big weight here.

PR CITY, BABY!!! NEVER have I even attempted 300#'s. Adding in the crazy dropsets just KILLED my traps, and even worse, my forearms. Goddamn! My forearms are toast!!! Whew! I think I could've gotten 1 more rep @ 300 if my forearms weren't so wrecked.
I started out really weak on those overhead presses, and I thought it might be a bad workout today, but I kept walking away from the weights, staring into my eyes in the mirror, and
getting angry at myself.
Why are you gonna let that first bad exercise dictate your workout?!? PUSH THROUGH THIS ****!!! :aargh::aargh::aargh: Then I started thinking about my brother, the thundergod. Maaaaan, does he inspire me! I visioned him being at the gym yelling at me for being a little *****!
Build up that RAGE inside, and push harder than you think you can!!!
