APS Creatine Nitrate + Bioquest Alpha Fury not sponsored with paleo diet and more!

I've got to admit that as a single solo more or less natural supplement I haven't had anything quite give the pumps and apparently strength gains as the APS Creatine Nitrate.

I love Creatine Nitrate, for the people who havn't tried it they all keep saying it's the CEE, but in all honesty once you try Creatine Nitrate you know there is no comparison!

It's really hard to gauge strength gains with full body as I'm basically wiped out all the time. But I think I'm seeing some.

a good sign that strength gains are happening are increased doms. around day 14 when strength gains started happening i got some really bad doms, fortunately they went away quickly-increasing intra bcaa's/eaa's seemed to help.

Ah crap. Just found out that the bodybuilding show I was considering in August has only 1 weight class for Men Over 40. I'm a little concerned still that i'll be on the pretty small side relatively speaking for my height - guessing between what i'll put on between now + then plus what I need to lose fatwise i'd come in between 180-185 at 5'9.5". The Open category is broken into a few groups, but then i'd be up against all the young whipper snappers ;)

and done. barely could walk out even after stretching my quads were so tight and pumped. veins all over my shins + calves. Its funny, i'm happy about any amount of vascularity above the waist, vascularity below the waist grosses me out.

bis + tris felt pretty good walking out of the gym :) the pump was really incredible. I was pretty surprised to be even cable curling 130 so relatively easily at the end of the workout.
 
tried something a bit different for workout, made it shorter but really intense. Basically doing my normal workout, and each exercise followed with less than 30 seconds rest attempt to hit 30 reps with a lower weight. skipped legs/bis/tris as I was wiped out

Interesting idea. I'm willing to bet that pump was crazy! Those high reps seem to really pump you up with the CN. My chest was flat out swollen after doing cable flies last night.
 
yeah, it was definitely crazy, and part of why I didn't feel like working bis/tris, as they were both pretty pumped too.

I left out that for no real particular reason i've only had about 30-40g carbs in the last 48 hours, which also didn't really help my endurance any :)
 
did you give up on full body workouts?

not yet. I had planned on full body today (yesterday had meetings at my daughters school so couldn't work out) but didn't have the energy to do legs after what I did this morning, and bis/tris were wiped out already too. I may just do legs tomorrow and see if I can manage to pull off full body with this sort of structure friday.
 
Its definitely good stuff. I may drop back to only taking it workout days, and dropping to 4 or 5 caps preworkout (and none post) just to see how it goes. I can fill in the off days with creatine mono which I have a kilo of or hmm I think I also have some bulk tricreatine malate. I'm already pretty broke right now from taxes, and then heading into the summer I go extra broke. vacation after school ends, electric bill doubles for air conditioning and the 6 year old has to go to some sort of day care/camp while she's out of school. So I doubt i'll be buying much of anything through the next 4-5 months. Wish I woulda picked up some of that bulk CN the few days it was available :D

yeah, i thought that bulk cn was too good to be true-so i didn't mess with it. no matter though i am working tons of ot and the aps cn lasts a long time, so it is really a good value for what you get.
 
Yeah, normally I wouldn't care but right now i'm like $3000 behind between taxes + other stuff, which I can just barely catch back up on right in time for summer vacation to go back in the hole again. Normally at this time of year i'd be $3000 ahead and feel free to spend on whatever I want (which invariable too much would be on the kids birthdays, all in april + may)

A little ;) no I'm just so broke I have to figure how to stretch it. I might have a little spare $ for supplements in may, then not again till September. Sucks for sure

lol-box factories are miserably hot in the summer, but that is our busiest time-go figure. always have a ton of ot in summer.:yup: money money money.

Do yo really think there's an advantage to taking CN on non training days vs. mono? I ask because I've done that with Ancient Strength on training day and mono on non days for the last year. It's worked nicely for me. I've been considering doing it with my CN too.

I havn't tried mixing the mono and CN but I'm really not a fan of Mono, bloats me like crazy!!

What I plan on trying in the next couple months in CN pre-workout and Nos Ether post-workout and Nos Ether on non-training days.

The Nos Ether has Kre-Alkalyn and Magnesium Creatine Chelate, I seem to react better to thsoe then Mono.
 
I had been talking about trying the vpx power shock, and my wife agreed to buying a tub. So now I've got that as an intra with nitrates as well to work in. Funny she didn't want me to spend $ on the 7ke or mesomorph but was ok with this :dunno:

I just ordered some "Creapure" from PP to try as my non training creatine. Mono doesn't bloat me horribly anyway but it does bloat me. Figured I'd try it it's cheap enough. If it's no different than anything else I've used I'll call BS on all the hype over it. :D
 
Nope! Luckily I have plenty of beef isolate here anyhow that I wasn't using because it tastes like crap. But I never was a fan of the quick post workout sugar loaded shake anyhow

Yeah, for a while I was using the ON platinum hydrowhey, but ran out, so now i'm down to a little dymatize elite which is pretty low carb, or the beef. Luckily, the beef isolate is bad enough to make me make sure I get in plenty of protein from solid foods so I don't have to drink it :D

wow man sweet gains, i remember some of your starting pictures. huge progress over time. Do you like the fasting thing that is becoming so popular here?
 
Well, I sort of naturally do intermittent fasting as my first meal of 3 is at 830 am and my last at 630 pm. I did try alternate day fasting for a while and although it was difficult it did work nicely for fat loss

If you know of datbtrue, his forum has many advocates of fasting for body composition and overall health.

There are lots of benefits healthwise, plus with full alternate day fasting is the fun of stuffing down 2 days of calories on your eat days
 
glucuronolactone has 2 basic functions. It adds some amount of energy, as well as softening the crash that usually comes along with caffeine and other stims. Its added to some of the energy drinks. It plus rhodiola was one of the reasons I really liked Sobe's sugar free Adrenaline Rush, but they stopped selling it. The only thing I don't like about alpha fury is that with 300mg of caffeine thats a bit on the high side. Not a crazy level, but if it was 200 i'd be happier.
