Another Trione question.

Not trying to drag NP through the mudd or any thing but for my personal health I would like to know what was in those pills. I think we should be notified if we need to go see the Doc. from this poison.

Just take 3 or 4 and you will know about 45-60 min afterwards.:sigh: They make you fell like you just came off a 3 day binge from the white diet (from what I have been told.).
 
Yea guys take it easy, he told use we would have an answer today, we all bought the Trione caps, we all had the issues, so lets wait and see.
 
Hello everyone, my sincerest apologies for the delayed response. I just sent a mass email to everyone who purchased the Trione caps from Nov 08 to current explaining in more detail, but here is the general outline of the situation at hand.

We've been using a new manufacturer who offered a turn-key Androstenetrione product. Originally, we sourced our own raw materials and had them encapsulated and bottled with lot numbers and batch numbers, but due to the overwhelming difficulties to source these raws, we were forced to go with a company that provided their own materials and offered a completely manufactured product. This company has been providing us the finished products and unfortunately, we cannot pinpoint when or which batch was affected, so we are contacting everyone who purchased the Trione caps from Nov 2008 to current informing them to STOP TAKING the product and to contact us for more information about receiving instant instore credit.

Although I cannot validate exactly what was in this Trione, I have a good idea that it contained yohimbe powder which explains the stimulating effect as well as the dark brown color. This is completely speculation, but we have discarded the entire remaining stock of Trione caps and have a new batch manufactured and will submit a sealed sample bottle to RTP Labs for an independent laboratory analysis before re-releasing it for sale.

My sincerest apologies go out to all our valued customers who have been affected by this issue. I personally promise each and everyone of you that we will take the appropriate measures to rectify this.
 
This makes complete sense now. Thanks for letting us know and the email/compensation is much appreciated.

Just for my own info, was there any Trione in the caps at all? And do you have an idea as to when new Trione caps will be available?

In the meantime, I will be brewing up some Formestane as a replacement... :D

We do have bulk Trione available. Many of the caps had 6-oxo in it, there was just one small batch that was something else, and since we couldnt identify exactly which ones they were, we pulled everything just to be safe.

So if I send my Trione back am I just getting a credit/refund or can I opt for a new bottle? And is there an ETA roughly on how long before the new Trione gets analyzed, cuz I'm on cycle and will need to start taking some shortly.

When can I expect to have nutrabucks added to my account so I can make an order? I ask because need to make an order veryy soon for some sort of AI product for my cycle to replace the Trione, it won't be Trione now tho lol

It is going to take about 15 days to get our lab report back on the new batch.
 
I've been following the trione thread and was wondering if we are suppose to get a recall email within the day or if its coming sometime this week. I ordered 2 bottles of trione on 11/01/08 order 47559. I used one bottle saved about 20 pills with no problem. I then was planning on using them again but this time I dosed them at night. The first night I tryed them I was up till 4 am and couldnt stop eating but I had just read a thread about someone having insomnia when they took it so I chalked it up to all being in my mind. I tryed again a week later and the same thing happened. I've been following the thread for awhile and am glad the problem has been addressed. I know you're probably swamped with all this but whenever anyone can get a chance to get back at me would be great.

I opened up a few pills to put long jack in them (that stuff tast awful). The powder was very brown. Now I know to never try yohimbe.

I found this on Wiki - I had all of these adverse effect while taking the bad trione.

Yohimbine has significant side effects, such as anxiety reactions. According to the Mayo Clinic, yohimbine can be dangerous if used in excessive amounts.[10]

Higher doses of oral yohimbine may create numerous side effects, such as rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, overstimulation, insomnia and/or sleeplessness. Some effects in rare cases were panic attacks, hallucinations, headaches, dizziness, and skin flushing.[11]

More serious adverse effects may include seizures and renal failure. Yohimbine should not be consumed by anyone with liver, kidney, heart disease, or a psychological disorder.[11]

Consuming cheese, red wine, or liver while taking yohimbine is not recommended, as this may increase blood pressure to unsafe levels.[11]

The range between an effective dose and a dangerous dose is very narrow; too large of a dosage can be harmful and toxic.[11] This may also lead to precipitation of panic disorder type reactions.

In combination with NMDA receptor antagonists such as memantine, ketamine or DXM, yohimbine could theoretically induce or augment NMDA antagonists neurotoxicity, already demonstrated in rats.
 
Mine are brown too and have an odd scent to them..

What color is the bulk Trione, and what scent if any?
 
Something is real bunk about the recent batch of trione. I took a couple of pills at night a few weeks back, and my back was frozen solid for a number of weeks, couldnt even lift. Two of these pills took me out for a couple of weeks. I thought maybe someone had megadosed ATD really cheap instead of trione, as that is how it makes me feel at high doses.

Typically I love 6-OXO, so it is good to see Nutra taking care of its customers and business.

I got 2 triones (1 i got from my buddy). I just checked the pills
one has green color
the other one has brown color
 
after this incident, is there a "WAY" to prevent this from happening again in future? pls do more testing next time..

I ordered a bottle back in Feb, around the end of the month. I guess I can trade it in and get some Bulk powder.
 
i dont understand how come the entire pill is yohimbine...and not even 6-oxo chemical is in the pill.

I'm guessing 100mg of Yohimbine since each cap is 100mg....NP will refund your cost, not sure about shipping cost, but I don't see why they shouldn't.

Well simple, someone mixed the 6-oxo powder with the Yohimbine, we are lucky that Nutraplanet still has there hands on 6-oxo, it's impossible to find. I'm actually surprised they got past all the heat that has been going on with 6-oxo.

Well, I have a suggestion. NP could send me (or even Steveoph, hehe) free samples of the 'bulk' stuff they make, I'll gladly eat them and report back here on the forum.

Joking aside, this is a serious issue. I still love u NP, but i may order less bulk stuff in the future.

1 mistake, and they are even compensating for it by giving refunds. why so mad?
 
Erm... I am not mad, i assure you. I really do love NP. I have made many orders, and will continue to order from NP.

I am lucky that nothing too serious happened to me, unlike the other users, and my heart goes out to them.

I am glad that I got the refund (how do i check the 'house credit' again?)

Just start a new order and it will list Nutrabucks during checkout. It should drop the 29 bucks off the order.
 
Is trione supposed to have a taste ? I opened one cap and the powder has a rather strange taste. It's slightly brownish.

A refund is not compensation, and I am in fact pissed. :angryfire: Plus, it was not a refund but a store credit.

i have 2 triones
one is brown powder
and the other one is green powder

i tried 3 pills (green powder) and now my body is all shaky and i feel like puking
it drives me nuts... ppl says bulk trione is yellowish so i thought i would give a shot
what a stupid mistake.....................
