Seems voting has stalled.... sadly there are TONS more board members than there are votes currently.
This is a democracy people..... get your votes in!

They are still making up their minds. Afterwards, there will be a huge surge in votes.

is there any way for the admin to cancel the users with zero post who voted...
Why should he? That someone has zero post neither means he may not have used any company's products nor does it mean he has no favourite. Some members prefer to observe, rather than take center stage by expressing their views via posts. Some simply may not have the time and resources for (aggressive) posting. Every member is entitled to vote. Membership is the only pre-requisite. And rightly so!

well let me rephrase that... users with Zero votes and an account made the day of this contest and on...

Rational minds could argue it either way. On one hand I see your point in that only "true participants" should vote;

HOWEVER, it's reasonable to assume there are supplement consumers who never even join the forum but surf and read it regularly for informational purposes. In such a scenario, I would think their vote would be as good as anyone elses.

Having said all that, if there is a disproportionate number of zero-post-count / brand new members all voting for one company, that would be suspect. I hope that isn't the case.

For those who do have this visibility, how many are we talking about here, 2 or 3, or 20?

yes you see my point!!! thank you:type:

I agree Don...if its like 5-7 votes, sure no biggie, but if 25-30 percent of the votes for that company are from "new" members, thats a lil shady. Im sure its not like that

btw Big Don....nice to see you over here more bro, congrats on all the success.

I agree with don here. There are many users that do not participate. For one, they are new and are browsing around trying to pick some info up. We can all say that at one point in time we were all like that. I used to be like that as well. 0 post does not always say that they are inactive accounts. It just says that they are just here to read. Dirk and the other reps have made a great deal trying to get the word of Drive and RPM out. Their products are talked about throughout the threads. If you go to the supplement section you'll find at least 5-6 RPM,IGF-2,Drive,Neovar threads. It is a great possibility that the new users were exposed to all the discussions about the product.

Ill even include my very own example that happened to me. I started on the BN boards. John and Dave were on the BN boards discussing and answering questions about PAL products. As a newb guess what was the first supplement I picked up?? PAL stuff! You can't accuse someone of rigging the votes without proof. The point is that Drive and RPM are very popular supplements. They are effective and being recommended left and right. Logic has me to believe that these newbs although some may not have "tried" AN products. Most of them want to. In result they vote for AN. I cannot see who voted for what so it's hard to say. Im pretty sure PAL has new users voting for them as well. It does not mean that they were new accounts created to vote for one company. Hope that rant made some sense :)

well put. At the end of the day, its ONLY a contest...

While Applied Nutra and PAL are in a fight FTW!... in all honesty... whoever wins... wins... its not worth a witch-hunt or vote counts, re-counts. and then there is the hanging chads!...lol i kid.

Id love to win, but then again... looks like we both are always within 5 votes of each other... we pretty much share the spotlight anyways

I know Applied Nutra as well as us at PAL are professional enough to accept the final vote as the final vote.

I know for a fact that BOTH companies are FAR to busy to waste time arguing over a popularity vote.

Thanks! Trying to get back into posting here and at BB.com. So many threads, so little time...

Your so wise Dave...:goodpost:

You sure about this?
I mean are you really really sure?

I think myth an AN rep would know. RPM could feel like it has more than 50mg of caffeine due to the nargirin content, which intensify and prolong the effects of caffeine.

I voted for Applied Nutriceuticals.
Great diverse product line, and I LOVE DRIVE!!!!

It was a tough choice, PAL and RPN also put out some great products this year.
I also think this poll is a reflection of all the great companies supporting AM.com that have put out alot of top-notch products in 07, a year of awesome innovation in the supplement market.

I like polka dots.

Should have made it multiple choice :)

I could have made it your top 3 choices. So you vote 3 times then let the chips fall where they may...

I should make a poll to see if everyone wants a new poll....

Or you can make a poll with the top 3 in it and have people vote... That would be pretty fair, IMO - seeing how the back-handed emails and PM's have been called out.

It's all good with me, though.

Dam hanging chad!

I can't wait for this thread to end, no matter who wins...idc if BSN were to somehow win at least people can stop whining and complaining about every little thing that happens.

btw, if anyone really deserves to win this thing imo its USPLabs. If we are truly talking innovation, these guys are top notch.

actually along those lines i'd have to say primordial performance might be the ones. they have a truly unique line of products....

no offence to anyone, but I truly think we deserve to win, or at least top 3 BJ..
haha..im serious, but i stand behind my companies products that they are innovative and effective.

AN
USP
RPN
all amazing, and innovative companies, but like I said, i like PAL's lineup whether im a rep or not.

I can dig this too...

But I gotta agree with John, overall when you consider Innovation/Cust. Service/Board Presence/and just overall being the awesomest company ever..

its def PAL :D

i think USP,AN,PAL all deserve prizes. Ive used products from all and find them simply amazing.PAL's incarnate and leviathan was the shiiizzznitt.

AN's Drive and RPM was amazing for energy/endurance

USPlabs AP is also amazing.

Thumbsup to you guys! It's really hard to pick for just one company.

I think everyone is quickly turning this poll into a big joke to be honest. The only whining I saw occur was quite a few pages back, and Bobo quickly put a stop to it. Emailed and PMed vote recruiting has tarnished the poll already, and made it so that the end result won't mean quite as much to the winner, regardless who wins.

my wanting of it to be over is concerning people worried about who wins...im glad the whining is over already....if this were another site im sure it will still be going strong.
