Norcodrene, for the first 2 weeks, completely KILLED my appetite and had a strong stimulatory effect. After about 4 weeks on it, I can say these effects have greatly diminished. They are still there, but these effects are more natural feeling. I can take the norco, even at a not-recommended 4 pills/day, and dose my pills as late as 6 PM and sleep fine now.
What has increased noticeably, is the thermogenic effects. I have been SO hot over the past 2 weeks, and it appears to be getting even worse. My gf has told me she sweats at night because of me, she can feel the heat radiating off of me. My normal temperature is up almost 1.5 degrees on a regular basis. I feel the heat even more than when I've taken up to 1,200 mcg of 3,5 diiodothyronine.
I lost 5 pounds pretty quick when I started this, but I've gained back about 2 pounds in the last 2 weeks. My waist has remained the same, even with the additional weight. Over the past 3 days I've been kind of re-feeding and stuffing my face more. I've been eating like ****, and I have not gained beyond the 2 pounds that I gained back. I'm hoping that I can get back at it in a few days and drop another 5-8 pounds in my last 4 weeks.
So, long term, it seems the appetite suppression and stimulation stick around but diminish greatly - but are replaced with increased body temperature. I also have a funny taste in the back of my throat - at first I thought it was blood-like but it's not. It is a phlegm-type taste and I've noticed my sinuses are very clear - so I'm not sure what is going on there but it isn't the end of the world...
