I use straps to shrug anything over 400 I couldn't imagine having the grip strength to hold 700 on a dead lift. You are crazy strong brother!

Came across something interesting about muscle fibers in this:

Invalid Link Removed

Near the bottom it says
It is now generally recognized that skeletal muscle fibers do not exist in three discrete forms at the subcellular level, but rather in a continuum based on the multitude of combinations of myosin heavy and light chain isoforms, polymorphic expression of protein isoforms, metabolic potential, and Ca2+ handling characteristics. Moreover, it is clear that all of these cellular characteristics exhibit some degree of plasticity in response to exercise training.

Interesting, don't know if anyone knows anything more about this but I've never heard it explained like that before. Always just heard about Type I and Type IIa/b.

EDIT: In reading a little more it seems there are several different classification systems for muscle types that are used today, surprised I didn't know this.

All it is saying is that the 3 fiber types do exist, but not everything fits so cut and dry into each category. There is a continuum. Kind of like how there are ectomorphs, endomorphs, and mesomorphs, but in reality, people usually fall somewhere in between.

Agreed... I have characteristics of endo and meso

Then I'm ecto and endo

Yeah I was being funny.
Gain muscle easy but hard to shed the fat.

I def. have characteristics of both. Meso and endo are pretty close aren't they? One just is " stockier" than the other? Lol

Us endos prefer the term rounded muscles :)

Well...

So I've tried a few multis and need to grab another bottle as my promo bottle that Animal (Pak) sent me is almost gone, hard to believe it's been 40 something days.

I went through countless tubs of Animal Pak in the past, now I've been looking at Anavite, but I may just take my ass down to Target and get Centrum One A Day & save some money...

:dunno:

Truthfully I think if your eating the right foods daily you don't need all the pricey multi's flame me that's cool just my opinion. I gone the centrum route per say and the only difference I notice with say orange triad is the joint and digestive help. I also used anavite when I got back into this game I liked it a lot actually I felt like it impacted my immune system the best out of all. I didn't get sick that whole year coincidence maybe, maybe not. Just my .02 bud

I like orange triad but I recently read a post where someone was saying that multis in capsule form are much better than tablet because of increased absorption so I've been thinking about that now...

Not necessarily...
Endo can hold more fat than a meso yes but strength is there and muscle gain.
Meso have broad shoulders and muscular stature some say perfect for bodybuilding yes... Arnold is a meso. Jay Cutler an Endo

I think it's better described as:

Ecto: Hard to put on muscle or fat
Meso: Easily puts on muscle, but not fat
Endo: Easily gains fat and muscle

I don't know if bone structure really plays a role in any of that, ie broad shoulders.

In terms that's a good way to describe it... Just reading the characteristics... Meso is known to have a broad stature as far as shoulder with

Man genetics are crazy lol, so hard to get everything straight. Especially with most people being a mix of types. I always thought I was an ecto, because I was always skinny, but now that I'm getting older and working out and eating I'm really not sure. I really didn't eat a lot when I was younger and I drank a lot and did some drugs so I often wonder if that's why I was always so skinny, and maybe I'm not more on the ecto side. I mean I've gained 40lbs since march last year and my bf has barely changed, starting to think I may be more meso or meso/ecto.

Pretty sure that was disproved? They now recommend eating the whole egg, unless you have cholesterol problems anyways.
