Up at 3:45 am today, drank a cup of coffee, took (1) SNS Alpha Yohimbine than headed out for my fasted cardio 2 mile walk, it took about 35 minutes. Another very pleasant morning. I spent the afternoon getting some things down around the house.

Calories 1,379
Fats 60 grams
Carbs 106
Protein 104

I was able to keep my diet in check !

I got a great deal on a new in box Sole 63 Treadmill on Facebook Market Place, Dick's currently has them on sale for $995.00, bout this for $450.00 My Son-In-Law and his brother were nice enough to come over and carry down to the basement for me and assemble it.

When my wife got hers last summer she had me haul that sucker up the stairs (spiral 1930s narrow stair case) along with the spin bike. I told her the only way it's coming back down stairs is after I take a sawzall to it

She is a retired English Professor, she keep saying that she is going to write a book someday. Maybe after this "Last Excursion" that might happen.
That would be very cool, and truly an amazing story.😎

I spent the afternoon getting some things down around the house. It's a rerun of yesterday, except, after driving to Harrisburg, checking it to the hospital getting my IV hooked up, it was determined my Blood Platelets were too low and I could not receive treatment  Three hours out of my Holiday Weekend for nothing. Oh Well!! My wife and I had not planned any family activities, because I am not to be around too many people. I decided we were having our own picnic, I went to the store bought some Hot Dogs, Buns, Backed Beans and Macaroni Salad and had a very nice evening together!!

Man, I know that had to aggravate you, going through all that and then not being able to get your treatment, but glad you and your wife were still able to enjoy the rest of the day and enjoy a good old American meal, Hot Dog, Baked Beans, and Macaroni Salad.

Everyone here is in the same boat, the lab at the center is closed today for some upgrades, so all the lab work has to go to the local hospital, and one of the Doctors is off so getting decision made are taking twice as long.

Than you guy's for letting me vent.

Agreed, hope you get you ended up getting your treatment.

Congrats on the treadmill purchase. Just remember those handles are for occasionally getting your heart rate. Not to hold on to and lean back while walking an incline. I see way too many people think they are working hard putting a steep incline then holding the handles and leaning back so far they negate the incline of the treadmill. They think they are working harder due to the incline, but they are burning less calories than if they did a lower incline and didn't hold on. If you need to keep your hands on there leave the arms relaxed so you can't lean back, or hold yourself still so you are just basically riding the belt down and the only real work being done is stepping forward.

That’s so true, I never thought of it like that, but probably half the people at our gym do hold the handles on an incline, which is really cheating themselves.

Totally. If you want to get the hams, glutes and calves engaged you they need to be what drives you up the belt, not your arms anchoring you in place not allowing you to go down the belt.

Oh yeah, it is a pet peeve of mine. I used to go tell people to just cut the incline by half and walk without holding on if they wanted to see what it is actually supposed to feel like. It is a far superior workout when done correctly. Now people are so triggered if anyone tells them their delicate flower ways of doing something is not the best. "I am an individual and this works best for my body... blah, blah, blah..." = HorseCrap!!! Physics are physics... your individuality has nothing to do with it.

Oh yeah can’t stand the old “well this is what works for me” answer, and I just want to tell them that’s why in the last 6 months you’ve stayed 50 lbs overweight and your body shape is still round.

No walk this morning, I felt like my body needed a little extra rest. I did have my meals already for the day and would get in the proper nutrition. But than things got ugly, after my second day of getting nothing done but waiting around, I started to stress eat, and I way more than I should have, yes I'm embarrassed, but I am also human. So tomorrow is another day and I WILL STAY IN TRACK!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you all for your Support, Prayers and Thoughts. If you have any questions about my Cancer, my Life please ask. I will share anything and everything open nd honest! After all you all are family !!!! 💪♥

There’s nothing embarrassing at all about eating a little extra. I’m amazed how well you stick to keeping your calories low, that’s true dedication.
It’s our pleasure to pray for you, that’s what family and friends are for, support and be there for each other.🙏

Up 3lbs from my stressfully day !

Went for my 4am 2 mile walk today, after being off the Dexamethasone for 3 days I could really feel the lower back, knee and hip pain. It took me almost 10 minutes longer to complete my walk. But I can't stay on this forever !!

I was able to keep my nutrition in check and back on track.

Calories 1,750
Fat 69 grams
Carbs 145 grams
Protein 134 grams

No Chemo again today, my WBC is in range and my platelets are still low, so the doctor thought it best to skip.

food is an interesting thing. lots of people stress eat, I'm the opposite and eat much less when stressed however I do think I have some sort of dopamine connection with food because during fasting I find myself feeling BORED (?!) which is weird! I bored eat it turns out. the fasting protocol isn't really a struggle for me in terms of hunger and discipline, it's the boredom of not eating.

Up 3lbs from my stressfully day !
yeah but you know it's water weight. I find it hard to believe you took in an extra 12,000 calories yesterday lol

I work with a guy (Who Lifts) he has been trying to gain weight for the 40 years I have known him, he eats big trains hard, but ho doubt a hard gainer. He did a few cycles 20 years ago and put on some size, but he has never been BIG !!

That just means he needs to eat bigger. Most people won't eat like it is a job in the same way that a person will force caloric restriction to lean up. Most people won't get to 3500 calories for the day, be full, and be like crap... I still need another 1000 calories to eat enough to gain, so I am going to force feed until I almost puke to get there.

IDK, I've never seen anyone not gain weight off a GOMAD diet lol
but most people I meet who are 'hard gainers' usually aren't really willing to do what it takes I find (same with those who "can't" cut)......... of course, outliers exist...... all due respect where it is due.

I don't have that problem haha. I could seriously eat a large pizza breakfast, lunch, and dinner and still be hungry.

I was texting one of the guys on here one night back and forth while we were watching a UFC and mentioned what I was eating - and this is someone that was bulking and doing aas and he couldn't believe I could eat as much as I was. This was before I was dieting, but just giving an example of my natural appetite. I had sent him a pic of my meal, which was a pizza and 24 mozzarella sticks haha.

Oh wow! No way I can eat that much. I can throw down, but not like that, and I don't have a fast enough metabolism to get away with it. I can bulk at 2750-3250 easily. So it is easy for me to go over my bulking calories if I am not careful.

Up at 3:45 am today, drank a cup of coffee, took (1) SNS Alpha Yohimbine than headed out for my fasted cardio 2 mile walk, it took about 40 minutes. I am definitely slower with no Dexamethasone in my system.

Calories 2,121
Fats 94 grams
Carbs 191
Protein 145

This should be about my max calories for maintenance if I deduct the calories burned during cardio. I will try to keep them under 2,000 tomorrow.

I got my Chemo today along with the other Chemo I get once every 14 days, I also got my IV of Dexamethasone and my back and joints felt better within minutes, I guess straight to the vein is the way to go !!

I may give SNS Thermagize XT a try before my walk tomorrow morning, I just hope it does not raise my BP to much ???? I guess there is one way to find out.

I had a feeling it was something along those lines. I remember seeing it pop up a lot along side tribulus, goat weed, and maca for libido etc but lately I've seen people suggesting a few other positive benefits from it

I doubt it would increase your blood pressure. It does have Alpha Yohimbine/Rauwolscine in it, so some people would want to space it away from another dose of Alpha Yohimbine like you do in the morning or it may be a bit too much energy at once. But I doubt it would affect BP.
