Question; I am on 100mg of Test-C TRT, I am currently not lifting at all, my thinking is, I should continue to that this as it might help reduce and muscle wasting ?
I would like to here some knowledgeable feed back @Hyde your thought possibly ?
I would continue with your TRT, because of just what you said, it should help reduce muscle wasting. And like Sam said, stopping it could cause other issues as well, as a result of your Testosterone levels dropping. I’m sure Hyde could add to this.Question; I am on 100mg of Test-C TRT, I am currently not lifting at all, my thinking is, I should continue to that this as it might help reduce and muscle wasting ?

I would be worried about dropping it - you desperately need all the red blood cell production you can get.
Yeah it’s sad, so many of them seem to have no clue when it comes to hormones and how they work in the body.“She thought 100mg/wk was a pretty high dose to be on.”
I’m sure SHE knows all about it![]()
Good point ! I did ask my Dr. in Pittsburgh about 2 months ago when I was still lifting, and he said it was No Prolem, My local Dr. really did not have an answer for me she though 100mg a week was a pretty high Dose to be on. I did not mention how much I took on a blast!
In her defense she is a Cancer Doctor and that is all she does.
And a lot of Doctors will stay in their lane, especially if they are a Specialist. In her defense she is a Cancer Doctor and that is all she does.
I have diagnosed my self with Restless Leg Syndrome, anyone else deal with this? What did you do ?
Supposedly they believe it starts when Dopamine levels in the brain are reduced and can cause muscle spasms and involuntary leg movements. Dopamine levels fall naturally at night, which is why it typically happens when you try to go to sleep. I’m not sure, in your case, what could cause it, unless it’s a Chemo side. My wife has them because of MS and takes Oxcarbazepine, an anti-seizure medication, for them. Not sure you want to go that route though, because that medication has its own side effects. With you having a seizure there’s a good chance that the restless legs is connected to Chemo unfortunately.I have diagnosed my self with Restless Leg Syndrome, anyone else deal with this? They started my Chemo out very slowly today, I told the nurse to crank it up, this is a No Fear zone !! I had no reactions today
Life Is Good !!
Is this something you've dealt with before or something that has only been happening since you have been on chemo?
I have heard mega dosing magnesium, B6, and ACV (4 TBSP) can help control it? Any experience with this?

I know that they also use Prami to help control RLS. I have it, kick my legs like a dog scratching fleas in the middle of the night. Before we got a bad ass mattress I used to wake my wife up several times a night shaking the bed. I have never treated it with medicine though.
Give it a week and find out. Glad you are feeling better though for sure!
I can’t remember are you getting a stem cell transplant after chemo?Platelet Count 36
Normal range: 140 - 366 K/µL
I can't lift till they are over 50up, the only way to get them up right is a Transfusion or a Stem Cell transplant, the Chemo kills them along with the bad stuff!
I can’t remember are you getting a stem cell transplant after chemo?
im sure it’s got to be hard going through that and then not getting to do some of the things you enjoy. On the bright side you are a very strong individual and when you rebound you will get to be back to the iron!
Yes, after I go into remission, I will be checking into Hershey Penn State Medical Center for about 28 day for a Stem Cell Transplant. after that it take about 100 day to recover at home. My immune system will be at Zero after the transplant, so the 100 is to let the new stem cells dig in and start to work.
They tell me I will be considered to be in remission when my WBC (White Blood Count) get back in the normal range, which is 3.9 - 9.5, mine was as high as 410, yesterday it was down to 22.8 we are getting close !!!
Thank you all for the Prayers, Positive Vibes and words of encouragement! You have made a difference in my life!!

Nice! Looks like you're keeping macros and calories low and in check to!
It’s good though that you are doing what you can by keeping nutrition in order, and even walking or what ever activity you would be allowed, because when the Doctors give you the green light you will already be ahead of most and basically hit the ground running, or should I say lifting.I have used this off and on for years, and I still can't tell you if it works or not ??
It's tough but I know if I am not spending 1-1.5 hours in the gym a day, I need to be very careful. However I do need to eat enough to maintain the muscle I have, give my body the nutrients it needs to heal and not get fat. The Struggle Is Real ! But I have never walked a way from a challenge !!

With that low of calories I can only imagine!

Is Hershey the one with the great food? Do you actually like... pack a suit case for a 28 day stay or do you have to stay in the medical robe the whole time?
