sorry all for no updates this weekend....long story short had to take the weekend off from the gym. will hit it hard again on monday.
 
Day: 14

Breakfast: 7:00a.m.
-1st dose: 12:00p.m.
Lunch: 2:30p.m.
-2nd dose: 9:45p.m.
Gym: 10:00p.m.
Dinner: 12:00a.m.


The Workout:
Chest + Squat
Squat: 1x5 180, 2x5 270, 1x5 315
Bench: 1x3 185, 1x5 175, 2x7 155
BB incline: 2x5 135, 2x5 155
DB flys: 3x10 25
Suspended push-ups: 3x6


Other supplements:
3.6g Beta Alanine 20 mins pre-wo

Got off work at 9:30 and I went in for a quick WO cuz gym closes at 11:00. Met my buddies there and got one to spot me and one to record for me so heres my video for squats. Was very impressed with myself.

uhh... about those squats....
you thighs have to be parallel to the ground for them to count in a meet so... i hope you dont count on using that weight at a meet because you arent going down anywhere near far enough.

He may just not know he's doing it wrong....
i watched the video soon as it was taken and saw that i wasn't going low enough....obviously it won't get my anywhere in competing but to gauge my abilities i can deal with it. i'll just work on form from now on.

youtube some powerlifting competitions and watch how they squat. You have to stand under the weight. When you have control the judge yells squat. you go down and come back up. If it wasn't parallel the judge will red flag it and it wont count.

thanks for the words guys. i realize pretty much anything i do or say i get flamed for so i try to take out the best of what is said back.
next leg day i'll start lighter and make sure my form is spot on and move up weight as long as i can keep it that way...i'll let ya'll know what i get to

No one is flaming you man... they are offering up a strong critique. That is one of the many points of these logs. Either go with it, or don't, no one is forcing anything upon you my man.

what kinda throws me is i can DL 275 (and yes with good form) for max...i was under the impression that squat is typically higher than dl?

I think most of us here are trying to look out for you. If you wanna load up 315 on the bar and give it a shot go ahead but I'm telling you now you will hurt yourself sooner or later because your form is incredibly off.
You aren't finding your hole and you aren't paying any mind to your knees at all.
 
i'ma go watch a couple squat vids to make sure i know what to do....guess that dam squat machine really did mess up my squats

it's more or less a hack squat machine that focuses on the top of your lift. I suggest taking a friend and doing reps at light weight until you get the perfect feel.
Once you find your hole and your center of balance it all gets easier.
 
OMGawd. Go on you tube. Search for "Squat Rx". Watch every single one of those videos. Do NOT attempt 315 again for your safety.

It takes years to learn proper squat technique.

maybe not years... but you should focus on that definitely.
