Does anyone have any information about the 2011 prohormone ban? I heard H-drol is now banned any legit info out there? Thanks!

The last ban was Jan. 2010. Prior to that it was 2004.

Don't look for your next ban until around 2015-16.

The muscle-building supplement Halodrol (Hdrol) precursor to Oral Turinabol, is classified as a steroid and as such, it is illegal to use without a legitimate medical reason. It had been previously been banned by the Anti-Doping Agency, International Olympic Committee, the NCAA, the NFL and the men's and women's tennis tours.

In November of 2010, the Anabolic Steroid Control Act was amended with the Controlled Substance Act that added anabolic steroids, prohormones, and "designer steroids" to the list of controlled substances. This makes possession of the substances a federal crime. In January 2011, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banned the sale of Halodrol, because of evidence to support increased health risk when using this substance.

Halodrol is a supplement made from a naturally occurring steroid hormone. The body metabolizes Halodrol into Oral Turinabol, which is considered a steroid. When supplementing Halodrol in high doses, is known to have an anabolic effect increasing muscle size and strength along with increasing forum posts. With many high profile cases attracting major press coverage as prominent United States athletes have tested positive for Halodrol. Some athletes who were found to have used Halodrol as the drug was not on the prohibited list at the time of their offence; however, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) maintains it is a substance related to those already banned, so the decisions stand. Halodrol will be added to the list of prohibited substances on 23 January 2011.
 
I dont know if this is BS or what.... I work in a supplement store and we are being forced by corporate to pull all PH's by September 1st.... I dont know if this is a corporate liability issue or if the ban is legit.... Just trying to find out the scoop! Thanks for any legit input!

well, uh, yep, it is on the banned substance list.












































































































































































for competing athletes. WADA doesn't care if someone else uses it for their local baseball league, just dont let the pro's use it.
 
FWIW, water is ridiculously anabolic. Expect it to be banned in the next few years.

I'm personally going to buy as much water as I can and store it in my freezer so it keeps and doesn't go bad.

I don't want to point fingers but...NTBM has anounced on there forums numerous times that a prohormone/DS ban was coming..and it looked like everytime people went insane and bought allot..
 
NTBM does do that I agree- i point fingers when its due.

NTBM has some good products(although their Whey2buildmuscle is absolute garbage)
but they know how to market

they dont make anyone buy anything lol

do you have to buy THEIR products- hell no

My buddy works at a supp. shop and all PH's are being pulled there as of 9/1. One time I saw him try to order more and the computer system came back with an error message saying "these products have been discontinued". Not sure if this is a coincidence or not.

More bull$hit, I work at a shop too and our PHs aren't continued....in fact I sold some today

Not really... I got a sales text from the company saying all ph's will be banned as of 9/1. Get them while they're still here bla bla bla. Who knows.
 
i seriously doubt their is a ban- we would all know by now because companies would be hyping the piss out of it

It could be quite possible that certain companies are ceasing the production/sales of hormonal products and/or certain stores are deciding to stop carrying them. That's just like some of the companies on here getting out of the hormonal game; not because of bans, but in case of them.

I saw somewhere selling m-drol for $80 the other day...lol.
