Going back to my old 3 day routine. At least until the last two weeks where I will probably do some higher rep full body stuff.

Cardio sucks !!
 
No cardio tonight. Apparently my boy got knocked out again at football tonight. Their game was out of town so I'm waiting on my wife and him to get here. We are taking him to the ER this time....

Thanks. They checked him out pretty good, just observation right now. Apparently he didn't actually get knocked out like a few weeks ago, but just got his bell rung. Blurred vision at first. And getting his words backwards/forgetting little things.
 
sounds like a concussion.. my son played competitive hockey up here in Toronto. Had a few concussions... hope he is ok!

Sounds like it was. The doc was hesitant to give a cat scan because he wasn't knocked all the way out. He said even though technology has came a long way we still don't know how it may affect children if they have to many scans. My son has a history of concussions both like last night and losing consciousness. He had one a few years back during wrestling. Two last year, and now two this year. Not including the ones he hasn't told us about. He said last night he has without telling us because he doens't want to be pulled from sports.
Hopefully we get in him today to see the family doc and get his opinion on what to do. i'd say he is out for the year.
 
Son woke up this morning still not feeling right, a little nauseous and slight headache. Tried to get him into the doc but couldn't until after 1 so my wife decided we would take him back to the ER and be a little more pushy to get something done. They ended up doing a CT, which came back negative thankfully, no bleeds. They did say it was a concussion again and pulled him out of football. He/we are a little upset he can't play , but it is for the better. He has decided with no football he can be in the gym more with Dad :D which is a plus!


So needless to say I missed my workout and cardio this morning. I will get my workout in sometime today as it is just arms and I think I can pull it off on the clock ;) then do cardio after work.
 
Smart move to pull him out for now. Concussions, can have some nasty long term affects. Glad he is ok though.
 
Well sad for him that he can not play but it is for the best with his record of head injury. You don't want him punch drunk later in life just to keep playing that sport. Get him into competitive crossfit or PL. That should be plenty intense for him!
 
Man I had a tough decision to make with my son but don't regret taking the safe road at all. It was fuggin tough though, 10 years hard work. He had a lot of fun paying ball though.
 
190.4 this morning. Sorry lack of updates. I am at the point now that I am going all the time, with my new job and cardio twice a day, plus the family I am short on time. It's good though, keeps me busy and I seem to stay on track with what I need to get done. I'll update as I can. Plus get new pics in here soon.

Did hiit yesterday and was very lethargic all day. Came home from work early and layer around yesterday afternoon. Slept good last night except for waking a few times with stomach cramping. Don't feel to bad today but am taking the day off from the gym. No weights or cardio.
 
Hope you feel better! I would imagine the mental part is the hardest! Keep pushing forward! You're so close and you are doing great!!! Glad to hear your son is ok despite having to take the break from football.
 
I think a busy schedule helps keep track of things better than a really open schedule. It really helps my motivation, since I'm having to always be moving.

Relaxed I still have some fat around my mid section, and glutes I'd like to drop. I think I'm.getting close though. I've got 4 weeks Saturday.
 
You're lookin on point jd. Flutes could shred a bit more, but you could walk on stage now.

4 weeks = grind time. Can you taste the peak week yet?

Yah you are so on top of this. I won't say coast cuz you have an opportunity to really get hyper shredded and I think you should stay the course and just get sliced.

Getting real now. I am so close I can taste it haha. Getting crazy vascular. I fell asleep on the couch earlier, when I woke up I bent over to put my shoes on and had veins all over the front and sides of my calves. After tanning I have them down across my obliques and upper chest. Can't wait to see what I look like on stage !

This last week we changed my diet up a little. I dropped around 60 carbs which put me at 120g and upped my fats. So I actually went up a little on calories, from 2600 to 2800. We added in two eggs and 3 tbs coconut oil which put me at 142g fat. The change hasn't been to bad yet. I notice my sugar being low in the mornings some days though, but evens out as the day goes on. My body just hates going without carbs.

Not sure what we have in store for the last two weeks but my brothers exact words were "As long as you don't crack on me I am going to push you harder than you have been pushed. You may hate me but you won't when you get on stage" OH **** !!!! haha

Thank man. I'm 184 this morning. Lost a little size but not as much as last time.

Sorry guys. Been checking in here just not posting much. Pretty wore down. Forcing myself to workout and do cardio. Dropped carbs yesterday and started aldactone (sp). Weighed in at 182 today. Going to do some higher rep workouts the first few days of this coming week. Not sure how long I'll keep up the cardio. Hard to push through now but I do. Here's a few of my latest progress pics. Not the best because my boy was taking them and would snap before I'd get my pose down lol.
