  • I saw the thread you posted in for the stats. At 13% BF, I would doubt that all those oats are needed. When you get to below 10% and if gains stop, then add some oats back in. As of now, I'd say cut those oats out.
    The problem with hitting yourself with that many carbs after a workout is you create such an insulin response that leads to cortisol secretion and eventually slowing fat burning down almost entirely (comparitively speaking).

    Look at marksdailyapple.com. He has all sorts of info about eating like this. I'm not nearly as hard core as some of the guys can be bc I think you have to be giving with nutrition at times (zig-zag dieting or heavy activity days that require eating grains in order to maintain weight), but that site is a good start. There are also a ton of threads on here about Paleo diet.
    I think if you get into it, stick with it and master it, you will see remarkable results.
