LOG: Dienedione + The One: first rodeo since 2019

Damn that Re1gn felt good…

Still at only 170mg of test per week.

Lowest weight this morning 193,1lbs.

Basic work at the gym, nothing special. Beltless deadlifts 5 sets of 5 @ 455lbs.

Strength is still good.

Gonna stock up on test, mast and EQ tomorrow…
 
New lowest weight - 192.7 lbs.

Still lots of fat to burn - getting under 190lbs is not enough. I think I need to get to low 180’s to be as lean as I want with current muscle mass.

Still feeling great, no drop in strength.

Gonna start ”blast” in the end of next week if bloodwork is OK. LDL cholesterol, hemoglobin and hematocrit are my only concerns.

EQ, test and mast it is. Maybe H-Drol and/or trendione on top of it for kickstart if bloods are good.

Gonna continue cutting for 4.5 more weeks, last 3 weeks with gear.

I will have long summer holiday this year, starting at the end of May - 9.5 weeks. Good time to train and it well. Few trips abroad also - 13 days at Spain (I’ll do 6 training sessions there), 5 days at Krakow, Poland (rest) and 5 days at France - I will go to see my best friend who went to French Foreign Legion this February. Haven’t heard from him yet.

Everything is going well, took it easy for a few weeks in the summer but now I’m back on track again.

Decided to torture myself a bit today, pulled beltless 11x465lbs @ 192.7lbs bodyweigh. That’s where my weight has been for the last few weeks.

Strength is good, I’m working with 310lbs at close grip bench press, 265lbs at incline press, 110lbs at weighted chin ups and 240lbs at seal rows right now.

Summer was maybe the best one in my life so far - travelled a lot, did all kinds of fun stuff with wife and kids and we also bought an apartment from Spain. Gonna be there only 1-2 months per year at this point but goal is to be there 5-6 months a year in 5-7 years.
 
Big progress for sure! Glad to hear training & life is going so well; deadlift has to be low 600s now at least? I could see that supporting 300kg even.

Is the apartment in a coastal city? That would be really nice to me, somewhere by the water.

My 1RM is not very good compared to longer sets. Biggest weight I have lifted this year is 570, I think.

Yeah the apartment is in Orihuela Costa. A bit over one mile from sea and good gym and a bit over half mile to school.

Three bedrooms, communal pool, huge roof terrace and a spot for a car.

Still a fine deadlift, and there’s a good base there if you wanted to focus more on 1RM likely.

That sounds like a lovely place to stay! I hope your family enjoys it there; I suspect they will.

Libido is crazy right now. I’m about to talk to my wife about switching to open relationship.

Gotta sleep a night or two before that talk though and hope this idea goes away. I think she’d kick my horny ass 😆😆

Don’t do it. The libido is temporary, but the threat to your family structure is lasting. People who involve others are more likely to divorce, and you have the kids to consider.

Getting married is never about ideal pussy. If anything, talk to her about how you can be more sexually active with each other. Women often need to be pursued or romanced.

You really went all out to get that 8th rep! Nice work. I believe that’s my best AMRAP for that weight as well, 485/220x8.

Been cruising on just 175mg of test per week for a while now and feeling good.

Weight fluctuates between 185-190lbs.

I’ve hold all the strength and even pushing PR’s in weighted pull ups (11x70lbs last week) and beltless deadlifts (13x440lbs yesterday).

Been training 3-4 times a week and eating relatively clean. No alcohol at all but some pizza or hamburgers when I feel like it.

Some videos and one photo from past weeks. Close grip bench with 310lbs, weighted pull ups with 80lbs, plate presses with one plate + babe, deadlift 12x440lbs + some sumo cheating and DB presses.

Been playing around with training a little bit.

Tried sumo deadlift second time ever, managed to pull relatively easy 530lbs without belt. Maybe I should start practicing this.

Tried some DB flat benches also. Best sets so far 8x130’s and 13x110’s. Biggest dumbbels at my gym are 140’s, maybe I’ll give those a go when I start growing again.

Still at only 175mg of test per week and life is good, weight still fluctuates between 185-190lbs. Gonna start to grow in February though.

Try hookgrip or straps with sumo; that’s the real cheat code. Especially with a deadlift bar. First time I tried to work up on Sumo with hook, I pulled 585 on a stiffbar when conventional mixed grip on a deadlift bar was 617. Both arms being double over keeps the lats even & shortens the pull, plus it keeps your hand from dragging on sumo the way mixed grip will on the underhand. And the deadlift bar is easier to keep your hook with the smaller diameter.
 
Just front squatted 405lbs without belt. Huge PR, 2 weeks ago my PR was 365lbs.

Still only at 175mg of test per week. Gonna start taking more in the end of January. I’m sure I’ll do 440lbs by the end of February.
 
Great work! I remember going for it and failing it for several training cycles; 405 front was a tough nut to crack for me.

I basically walked away from them at some point to just focus on my powerlifting, and when testing them years later, lo & behold I had gotten much stronger on them.

Made the 135s look easy; that’s a proper DB handoff crew right there! Getting them into place solo is basically impossible for me

CGBP 365lbs done on a very bad day. I’m sure 375 will happen very soon! Weight is around 193lbs in the morning.

Failed 370lbs at CGBP.

Did beltless stiff bar deadlift at the end of the session. 575 was easy.

 
No sweat on the bench; you have been hitting that hard & making big strides already. Might just need a lighter bench week before the next heavy one to reload.

Looking like 600 is right there for deads if you want to take it; no trouble for you.

After that I squatted 440lbs. Haven’t done regular back squats in a while. Felt nice actually, I bet I have more than 500lbs in me if I did it as first lift for a few weeks.

Awesome work! Iron back on you, doing that beltless.

Pro tip: pull a few singles at 200-220/441-485 next week with the deadlift bar. THEN in 2 weeks go for the 620. You will have greater peak strength after that deload.

You need time to recover from this effort maximally, AND if you practice light with the deadlift bar you will get a bit more out of it the next week from skill acquisition.
