Finally watched The Equalizer 3. It was just kinda ok, Denzel still has a great presence, but the movie really felt like not much was going on for awhile and just didn't seem to hold up to the first one for me.

Still more on a gaming and reading kick, hoping something will jumpstart my movie watching again. I'd love to get to Killers of the Flower Moon, but don't have the time to dedicate to whatever amount of time it probably is to go to a movie theater for a 3.5 hour movie (wish I did though..).

Yeah I really want to watch Killers of the Flower Moon but my local cinema has the WORST seats and leg room. So for me a 6'2 it will be painful to endure. I did make it through Endgame in those seats though so everything is possible.

I've not seen equalizer 3 but I've heard that because Denzel is so OP and almost in god mode all the time there is no sense of peril it's just a case of waiting to see how all the bad guys are gonna get their asses kicked... But then maybe that's the point. Would be good if he got like drugged or something at some point and got almost left for dead then get a movie about how he gets his mojo back... Although that just sounds like a hardcore Rocky III

speaking of performance that kevin spacey performance he gave us in that movie was like none other .. him and ed norton in american history X .. i was totally mind blown by it.

Watched 2 trailers this week that got me real excited.

First was a trailer for season 2 of Jack Reacher. Im a Reacher fan in the sense that ive read all books several times. I also enjoyed the first season so looking forward to more.

And yeah, im going to see The Marvels tomorrow. Im not expecting much at all, if anything im going to see it to find out what there are going to do with the X-Men. I also have to watch the season finale of Loki as that supposedly sets alot of stuff up as well.

i started reacher season 1 again this monday .. 3 more episodes to go
such a good show and enjoy it way more then tom cruise movies
it was tough to take the actor serious bc always picture him that goofy funny linebacker thad castle
 
The trailer looks good for reacher 2.

re watched wind river this weekend a good film. Also re watched Hostiles, a western with Christian Bale. I think he does a great job in this movie one of my favorites.

Wind river had a couple good twists and surprises. After watching yellow stone it’s kinda funny how many actors are in that film.
 
Wind River has one of the most gut wrenching scenes ive seen in a movie. Great movie but man, people can be horrible.

So i went and saw The Marvels and i was suprised at how entertaining it was. I enjoyed it more than both Quantumania and Thor Love and Thunder. Not that those are high bars, but I had a good time with this.

Yes I will agree to that, I actually skip that part when I re watch now.

On another note I watched the documentary of Sly on Netflix. I liked that way better than the Arnold documentary.

used to get to excited for marvel movies/shows but lately lost interest.

you started loki season 2 ? thinking of starting it sometimes this week/

Im at the second to last episode and its building to something, I cant wait to finish it.

Yeah superhero fatigue has set in for many. But I hope it doesnt stop you from Season 2 of Invincible! 2 episodes out so far and its great.

since it was announced season 4 will coming out in 2024 .. i restarted this show .. almost done with season1

i think most super heroes fans here have heard of this show .. if you havent seen or heard of the show def recommend it trying this out .

Have you watched the spin off Gen V? it is awesome too and directly leads to the start of season 4

I also really enjoyed Gen V. I will rewarch The Boys here soon so I can watch season 4. Invinceable is good but I won't watch season 2 until I can binge it.

I also really enjoyed CastleVania Nocturn. Decent anime.

I actually really want to rewatch Friends. Friends and How I Met Your Mother is what got me through 2009 while I was in Alaska and 2010-2012 when I went through darker times in my life. Didn't make enough money for Cable so I would just workout, go home and binge watch all 10 season of Friends. Then however many seasons of HIMYM was out and then rewards Friends.

I wish something cool! Haha I was in Haines, AK as a middle school special education teacher and an elementary PE Teacher. Quite the experience. I came back to Nebraska for a girl. Resented her and broke up with her the following year...haha....but I met my wife so it all worked out the way it was suppose to!

but yeah those 2 scences in the boys were way distubing for real
 
Ok, I finished Loki season 2 and wow. This might have been the best season of any Marvel shows. End was truly epic. Highly recommend it.
 
Any other Seinfeld fans? Greatest show of all time in my opinion. My kids are finally the age they can watch it, or at least we watch the episodes that are listed "family friendly" on this: Invalid Link Removed

i can rewatch over and over .. seinfeld more but the office is up there with greatest comedies.

I watch it when I am not feeling like anything else. I am in the middle of season 3. I like it but would rank Friends, HIMYM and Brooklyn Nine Nine over it.

the hot new show is, “a murder at the end of the world” on Hulu (I believe it’s an fx show)

So far it’s got a bit of everything, sci-fi, hi tech stuff,…mystery…

Watched the 2 first episodes of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters over the weekends. So far so good although the 3 timelines can be a little hard to follow if you dont keep your wits with you.

Those are all good movies!

I feel what you are saying. I always re-watch Harry Potter before christmas. But i started a bit earlier this year as i got sick and now im done with them already and December hasnt started yet! So im a bit lost myself haha.
 
So last weekend i got a Monsterverse kick so I re-watched all of those. I think it was because i wateched the Monarch series and just wanted more of it.

Then yesterday i got a suprise day off as we got snowed in. So i re-watched The Matrix Trilogy. I wanted to watch Resurrections as well but i didnt get to it. I know its not liked, but im a sucker for continuity in movies.

Had a really lazy weekend due to tons of snow. So i got in quite a few hours infront of the tv haha.

Re-watched The Dark Knight Trilogy and Die Hard 1, 2 and 3 (the good ones). Havent watched Die Hard in many years so that was a blast.
