I'm reading 200mg DHEA in the true shred vs 72mg in the dermacrine. I wonder if that's per pump in the dermacrine or if that's a 3 pump serving. have you had pretty good results with the True Shred in the past?


I have probably run 10 or more bottles of True Shred over the years it is by far my favorite supplement for leaning out. I ran a long on it a few years ago with pictures I will see if I can find it and link it up here.

I'm gonna go back and reread that month long log of yours in depth to better understand your full protocol as well. were you in a caloric deficit? I see you mentioned training fasted etc.
 
Yes I was definitely in a deficit, I almost always train fasted in the AM

not buttheady at all lol. I'm learning like a sponge taking on water. My joints only this past week have finally started getting sore and so I'm looking for smart solutions! although the soreness and other challenges match my normal process of the past 10-15 years when my weight and BF drop.

No workout, no supps, no stims

Last evening before going to bed I started to feel really bad, not sick, but bloated, tired, my joints all hurt and I felt like death. I slept ok but not good. I decided I would skip my workout sleep in an extra 2 hours, eat some good quality calories and skip all supplements and stims for the day. I believe it worked, by about 10am I was feeling pretty good, but 5pm I felt great. So I believe I will live to lift another day.

Good to hear. Sometimes you just have to listen to the body and give it a break from workout and supps when it tells you to.

I decided to use my Wrist Roller today for the first thing in awhile, I forgot how good this machine his my forearms. I built this in about 1982.

Transdermal delivery of DHEA is both much more effective per mg, and it also converts to testosterone at a greater percentage transdermally. Oral is primarily to raise estrogen in a man (and DHEA levels).

And as mentioned, of course he was in a significant deficit. I point that out because people who have never used exogenous hormones almost always assume the drugs can defy physics, and they do not. You can’t grow without a surplus, or cut without a deficit. But what they do is hyper-initiate those processes. You retain more nitrogen, turn over more calories, recover & build much faster. So they will do whatever your diet dictates, just “on steroids” lol.

I have been MIA for few days, Sunday morning I woke up feeling Bloated and Very Uncomfortable as the day went on it got worst, I had a pain in my side like I used to get when I ran really hard for to long. I ate very little and sleep very little Sunday night.

Monday morning, I got next to no sleep last night due to the pain in my side, so there was no workout and I still feel like crap and am in pain. I made my morning oats but it took me till noon just to finish it, my stomach looks like Santa, I am still really bloated and uncomfortable. As the day goes on I start to feel better, the pain in my side goes from about an 8 down to a 4. I did eat my lunch with a slight increase in my discomfort. Diner time I am feeling better, but still not great, 2 Advil and I am headed to bed at 7:30 pm. I believe tomorrow will be a better day !

If it doesn’t go away you may want to get it checked to make sure it’s not something serious like your appendix or gallbladder.

The pain I have is on the left side, both the appendix and gallbladder or on the right..........however the pain today is about 75% better, I have a theory as to what it was that I will share if everything gets back to normal.

Ahh, yep if it’s the left side that’s definitely not the appendix or gallbladder, that’s good. Glad you’re starting to feel better.

Notes: Nutrition was almost perfect today. I have not used any PWO or supplements for the past 3 days, just to give my stomach and system a break. Everything is feeling at least 50-60% better and another good night sleep should really help! Life Is Good !!

Notes: I was feeling back to almost 100% this morning, I only took a half serving of my PWO, I wasn't sure how it would effect my stomach, but I had no problems, no bloating. The weights were pretty heavy and I was happy with the reps. I was a little tiered towards the end of my workout than usual, but I felt pretty good. I was hungry all day and felt like I needed the extra calories to produce some energy so I did eat a little extra. Tomorrow is suppose to be Fasted Cardio, but I will see how I feel a 3:45 am.

Notes; One of my "Problems" last week was a bloated mid section which also made my breathing very labored at times, at about 15 minutes in on the treadmill I realized I was still having a slightly hard time getting my breath, so I was about to stop and I deicide it would be a better idea just to slow down and decrease the incline a bit. I did make it to the scheduled 35 minutes and got all my core work done afterwards (Personal Victory) Feeling better everyday and just trying not to push it to hard.

I see you've been bringing your calories back up these past couple days. are you cycling them intentionally?

They were down some because I was not feeling well, I have let them creep back up a bit hoping for a better recovery. Monday I should be back on the cut !!

Wish our gym had a swiss bar, just to see if the different hand angles would be less pain full on my shoulders.

I don't really notice any difference in shoulder pain, but it does hit the muscle different.
