That's a great idea but I'm afraid that you're also right in that there is no way that a company could legally market it bc even the mention of Covid in any type of advertising is a huge red flag with the FDA.
I avoid mentioning Covid on here bc of how at one time even mentioning it turned into a political discussion, but I've been suffering from a lot of symptoms myself that my doctor thinks may be related to long Covid myself; so its definitely an area of interest to me. For me personally, its been severe fatigue, severe brain fog, almost feeling like my brain is locked up and like I'm helpless to do even simple tasks at times. Really weird and odd feeling and hard to explain to anyone that hasn't experienced it.
If we did something for this, we'd have to put a creative spin on it and basically throw it out there and let word of mouth dictate what it is and would be used for OR we could make it be about something else and just happen to be good for that if that makes sense.
What ingredients are you thinking?
I don’t really have any in mind, had just been thinking that if there was a “Post Covid Recovery XT” I would definitely buy it.
Some good inputs above. Brain fog and risk of personality /emotional changes seem to be a risk. Endless lack of endurance working out was really bad too. Not sure if there is anything that “resets” the body if you will, just thought with the knowledge of ingredients around here we may have something useful
This actually seems like the type of thing that would be beneficial to market. Endurance + nootropic + add in some immune support (elderberry, vit C, etc.). As others have stated, can't market it as post-COVID (eg, no medical / condition claims), but I bet there's a market for this just as a recovery matrix for colds in general...Focus XT (for brain fog) and cordyceps (MST or SNS Peak02; for occasional breathlessness) were a real help for us post-Covid.

What was your dose? I just saw NNB came out with an anandamide ingredient called FastBliss.Anandamide. Finally got to try some at a good dose (5 doses) and this stuff puts you in the best mood combined with PEA. And my mood is generally ****
Triacetyladenosine 200mg caps.
Yes you need at least four or five pills before each workout everything out is under dosed. The old TAA from Prototype. That actually came back a couple years ago as a powder. Nutristat has BioATP caps but they are underdosed.
I still have some of the powder version I will try two scoops today for fun, always liked one so two must be better. The old TAA from Prototype. That actually came back a couple years ago as a powder. Nutristat has BioATP caps but they are underdosed.

I've been thinking of something similar to this but may would leave the Quercetin out because it needs to be so highly dosed to really be effective, or may would go with one of the more advanced types.
My idea though had a lot more in it but was going all out and would wind up being a very comprehensive anti-aging/longevity formula but would be pretty high priced; so something simpler like this may also be a good option to hit a more cost effective pricepoint.
Any other ingredient thoughts for this? (you or anyone else)
Triacetyladenosine 200mg caps.
Spermidine might be a good addition. Could also look into Quercefit for the quercetin portion or taxifolin (dihydroquercetin).
Edit: Just say you mentioned spermidine already for the formula.

Both of those are interesting. Might give one of them a try soon. This and Muscle Addiction has some offerings.

Covid brain fog and memory loss is no joke. I believe all these new strains of Covid aren’t anything like the original. (Although not saying it can’t still be serious). I contacted Dec 2020 was hospitalized almost died and was on oxygen for 6 weeks after the hospital. My lungs have never been the same and I’ve accepted that but it’s the memory loss that really bugs me. The wife will tell me things and I will totally forget and then there is an argument that was totally my fault but I never forgot stuff like i do since Covid.
I absolutely agree. The post Covid brain fog and memory issues have been brutal.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience and I'm glad that you made it through it.
I know what you mean about the memory loss - I've always had a great memory so people expect it of me and now will get irritated or frustrated with me when I can't recall something right away or lose my thoughts. It sucks.
I recently started taking our Huperzine A 99% twice a day and it seems to have helped some. It's been a slow and gradual but steady improvement and I've noticed that now if I can't remember something, if I really stop and think about it, it will come back to me easier. I'm not sure if that would help you, but if you let me know when place your next order with us, I'll be glad to throw one in for you to try.
I’d love to see a sleep formula however with the option without melatonin. I think I’ve been taking melatonin a little too long…
For what it’s worth I seem to get noticeably better sleep with only one cap of Sleep Assist XT - my sleep score on my Fitbit is usually 5-10 points higher when I take it too, for whatever that’s worth…not sure how accurate any of that is.
So not no Melatonin but a smaller dose than taking all four caps, plus a bottle ends up lasting forever this way.
I generally sleep pretty well though so YMMV. I just have small kids so I’m really just hoping to make 6 hours of sleep feel like 7 if I can.

Exactly, it definitely works for me even at just one cap. I’ve only ever taken two if I had to work out late at night, that ruins my sleep quality so I avoid it as much as possible. I’ve never taken more than two. Hopefully I’m not hurting Steve’s sales!![]()
I was thinking I should take a break from it, but I did some research and learned the longer you take it the better ????
I’d like to see CEL or SNS make a sleep formula (likely CEL with what I want)
Magnesium bisglycinate 400mg
Phenibut 1.5g
Lemon balm extract >7% rosmarinic acid and >14% hydroxycinnamic acid 400mg
Sensoril 50mg of total withanolides
L-theanine 100mg
rutaecarpine (RUTA) 100mg

Thank you for the suggestion.
There's a few reasons that this one wouldn't be able to be done exactly like this, so I'll explain them and also use this post to go a little further into conversation about sleep products and my future thoughts for products and the companies.
Phenibut:
I made a detailed post above about what they wouldn't be possible for us to use that in a product now.
Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate:
Lemon Balm:
- Albion TRAACS is only 10% active magnesium if I remember correctly, so that would mean that to provide 400 mg. active, that would take 4,000 mg. of powder so you'd be looking at 2 tablets or 4 to 5 capsules just to itself.
- There are a lot of brands that mislabel this ingredient and put 400 mg. on the label and they're talking about total material, not active content.
- I would encourage people wanting to use this to use the above information to safeguard themselves and to make sure to only buy this from companies that they know are legit like NOW Foods for example.
- The high dosages of this make it not a good ingredient candidate for capsule formulation products, which is why I suggest most of the time that if people want to use it, to buy it solo.
Theanine:
- I am a fan of Lemon Balm extract and we use it in Sleep Assist XT.
- The reason that we don't identify an exact percentage on the label for Sleep Assist XT is because raw material supplies can vary with this so for example if we were to put >7% and only 6% was available, we would either be violating label claims or have to be out of stock on the product. I hope that makes sense.
Sensoril:
- We use this in Sleep Assist XT.
- We also use this in Stress & Anxiety Support.
- I believe we will be using this in the upcoming Sleep Support XT (melatonin-free product)
Note: Stress & Anxiety Support contains Sensoril, Theanine, Rhodiola, & Bacopa - excellent product.
- I am a big fan of this ingredient and remember talking about it on here before hardly anyone knew about it.
- We use it in Stress & Anxiety Support and it is a great ingredient.
Rutaecarpine:
------------------------------------------------
- This is a tricky one to use in a sleep product because it actually used to be used in some stimulant products and some people associate it with that and that's why you don't see more companies use it in sleep products most likely.
As of right now, we have Sleep Assist XT which is a great product:

We also have Stress & Anxiety Support which is a great product:
https://seriousnutritionsolutions.com/product/stress-anxiety-support/
Upcoming Plans or at least what I'm thinking:
SNS Sleep Support XT - melatonin-free sleep support product.
Sleep Shot XT - nighttime sleep support product similar to Sleep Assist XT and its possible we may do a melatonin free flavor.
For CEL, I'm thinking of doing a nighttime anabolic drink mix - like the concept some other brands are doing but with a unique twist on it.
Triacetyladenosine 200mg caps.
I like what you're hinting at here, SteveThank you for the suggestion. I don't think its really a good candidate for a capsulated product imo because the cost associated with providing an effective dose in capsule form puts it being so expensive that one could buy a great formulation product for not much more.
But for people interested in this ingredient, XPG may have a really cool surprise coming within the next month or two![]()

For what ever reason more people enjoyed the caps as opposed to the powder version. Most reviews on the caps from prototype had great results.I think I may have gone up to 4 scoops. To be honest, I really don't remember getting much from it.
If you don't mind transdermal, Apex Triton is the same thing.
Yea from what I found most people enjoyed the caps and got more results from them.I like what you're hinting at here, Steve![]()

Tasted horrible. But for the time it was the bestOverrated and tasted like crap tbh lol
In the 80's all supplements tasted horrible !!
I love a good sleeping pill, but I’m on an IF schedule, and always feel like I have trouble absorbing them after dinner. Would the sleep shot be able to be held in the mouth long enough for some absorption there? I keep some dissolving melatonin available as it circumvents that problem but would love more hardcore products available that fit the bill as well.
