I may be the only one that wants it but something to reduce nausea or motion sickness (without making you tired at the same time) would be great. Ginger and peppermint would be a good starting point.

I agree. I'm considering doing an endurance product or endurance/fat loss product under CEL; think of it as the closest that someone could naturally and safely get to Cardarine type of thing.

it’s marketable and a large portion of the population drinks! Might as well have a dope prevention supplement that works and we can tell all our friends and then it’s a worldwide nightclub phenomenon!

I had thought about doing something like that. There are some out there on the market, but we could certainly do one if enough people were interested.
 
To everyone else above that I haven't quoted or commented on your ideas yet, I'm not ignoring them, I'm just waiting to see if I get more ideas posted and then will reply to all of them together and let people know the ones that I've been working on and have planned :)

BFF's hangover supp didn't seem to do much for me. I had a couple samples. Maybe my expectations were too high or maybe I was too drunk for it to work properly, lol. Having a hangover and dealing with kids the next day is fkin H3LL! It's one reason why I rarely drink. I know I'd at least try Hangover XT. It might take me a couple years to go through an entire bottle.

I've seen some different products and researched ingredients and even put together a tentative formula in the past for one; but I've never tried a product for it to see if it worked for me or not. I'm like you in that it would take me years to go through a bottle of it bc I drink so rarely now days.

If it also aids in hydration and stuff too, it could be used all the time vs just night outs.

Years ago I worked with a flavoring company on a RTD “shot” that would’ve been consumed prior to your first drink of the night. Didn’t get past the sampling stage, as some of the ingredients (you can probably guess them) were so nasty in a liquid formula.

So my unsolicited advice would be def stick to caps

There honestly really wasn't much to the original formula besides ephedra and caffeine if I remember correctly. I'd have to see if I could find a label from back then; but even if we could, a supplement company can't legally market a product and tell people or even hint to them to mix it with an OTC drug. I appreciate the idea, just not sure if would be feasible.

How come a caffeine pill and Bronkaid doesn’t hit anywhere near as hard as Hydroxycut and Xenadrine did back in the day? Was it because it was the herbal form of Ephedra vs Ephedrine HCL or Sulphate? I’ve read that the herbal form wasn’t as clean so it was stronger.

I don't think it has to do with it not being 'as clean' as much as it just has to do with it being different.

I just found the old supplement facts and it is just basically ephedra, caffeine from guarana, a small amount of synephrine, and then a prop blend that is mostly white willow bark.

I haven't taken ephedrine hcl since shortly after the herbal form was banned bc I realized that the hcl form didn't do anything for me. I honestly never even think about that type if I don't see a post here mentioning it.

Nah, definitely not the case. (I know you're joking though). I wish it was though - it's frustrating and can be discouraging sometimes to spend a fortune on testing and compliance and then to see some companies not even bother to try to do things the right way.

I agree! And in cases like the product I mentioned, straight up dangerous. I feel like spiked supplements will always be a thing but putting untested designer drugs in things should never be allowed. Reasons why I trust very few companies.

I've been thinking of something similar to this but may would leave the Quercetin out because it needs to be so highly dosed to really be effective, or may would go with one of the more advanced types.

My idea though had a lot more in it but was going all out and would wind up being a very comprehensive anti-aging/longevity formula but would be pretty high priced; so something simpler like this may also be a good option to hit a more cost effective pricepoint.

Any other ingredient thoughts for this? (you or anyone else)

i have to dig but I think I saw a study showing that quercitin enhanced the effects of fisetin when used together. Might take me a bit to find. I know fisetin needs to be high quality or dosed very high.
As far as senolytics, spermidine is another good one.
and urolithin A. Fisetin is the most established senolytic that I know of in the natural realm.

Thanks (on the Super Swole part). It's an awesome formula - pretty much a who's who of branded ingredients for pumps.

For the Senolytic formula I have in mind, I had Spermidine in there.

The reason I had been leaning towards not using Quercetin in it was that the dosage needs to be high so it would take up a couple capsules all to itself, and to the general health and anti-aging/longevity consumer, the more capsules they have to take, the less likely they are to buy it. And also bc it needs to be taken on an empty stomach for best results whereas some of the other ingredients I was considering, some people may prefer to take them with food. But I'm definitely open to including it.

While we're on the subject of ingredients in the anti-aging/longevity category, have you seen any of these:

Astragaloside IV
Cycloastragenol
Telos95

If so, I'd love to hear your or anyone else's thoughts on them.

Oh and I think this would be neat. I noticed merchandise in the SNS side but not the CEL side. I think a CEL duffel bag in the label color scheme (gray and black with some orange) with Competitive Edge Labs embroidered would be sweet. Perhaps an item that comes out based on pre-orders. I would rock that duffel! I was going through my closet and found my old nutraplanet bag so that’s what made me think of it.

I would really like to do more merchandise under all of the brands. I want to do some new styles of SNS shirts, CEL shirts, Muscle Addiction shirts, and was thinking sleeveless jerseys for each brand. I had thought about duffel bags but wasn't sure if that was something that people would be interested in, but would be glad to try it under one of the brands and CEL seems like a good option for that. I also want to do some hats at some point.

The main thing with merchandise is that we just have to get inventory levels back where they need to be before we put much money into the merchandise aspect bc right now pretty much all cashflow coming back in is going towards inventory.
 
Not sure if there’s much interest because Api-Plex is already reasonably priced, but any chance of offering Apigenin powder? I’m always interested in powders for my staples just to save a little.

I would be open to it if its something that enough people wanted, but we've never had anyone ask before and also we are so cost effective on Api-Plex that I doubt a powder would save much money wise and that low of a dose would be a pain to weigh out.

But I appreciate the suggestion. I'm always open to ideas.

Have you ever considered a post-Covid recovery product? Or more generally something to help people regain a step after getting sick?

Lots of long covid suffering out there and lots of lingering effects- I saw a study today about lower blood flow to parts of the brain long after active infection. Not to mention it’s not easy getting back in the gym after such an Illness.

Not sure if you could legally market such a thing since there aren’t a lot of studies yet but clearly there’s a market need for something that could help

That's a great idea but I'm afraid that you're also right in that there is no way that a company could legally market it bc even the mention of Covid in any type of advertising is a huge red flag with the FDA.

I avoid mentioning Covid on here bc of how at one time even mentioning it turned into a political discussion, but I've been suffering from a lot of symptoms myself that my doctor thinks may be related to long Covid myself; so its definitely an area of interest to me. For me personally, its been severe fatigue, severe brain fog, almost feeling like my brain is locked up and like I'm helpless to do even simple tasks at times. Really weird and odd feeling and hard to explain to anyone that hasn't experienced it.

If we did something for this, we'd have to put a creative spin on it and basically throw it out there and let word of mouth dictate what it is and would be used for OR we could make it be about something else and just happen to be good for that if that makes sense.

What ingredients are you thinking?
