Notes; No breaking any records today or anything special, yesterday I decided to try something I have been thinking about for a few years, I did my weekly TRT injection into my bicep, .5ml with a slin pin, no problem, as the day went on the PIPP got pretty bad, I could barely move my arm, the next morning (this morning) it was not quite as bad but I choose to start my bench press with 45lbs and see if I could do that???? I did work up to 95lbs for sets of 20 but I decided that a good light pump workout was in order. It ended up being a very good work out, my muscle felt full and hard. On a super positive note I received my MA Labs Stage-3D Sleep Product form @Mike Arnold today, I can't wait to try it out! I will be running a mini log on it if anyone would like to follow along.

I was pretty loose with my diet today, I lacked motivate and focus. My youngest daughter and her husband took the wife and I out to eat for Fathers Day to a Himalayan restaurant, very good food but I'm afraid it was also very high in calories!


Notes; My bicep is still pretty sore (a little better) so I stayed with the light weight and high reps. Tomorrow (Sunday) is an off day with just a bit of lawn mowing and Monday is legs, so I should be able to go back to my more productive training.

I almost forgot, my dinner last night a Ramen Burger, no bun just pressed ramen, pretty good !!

I haven't seen a ramen burger before. Looks interesting but I bet it was pretty tasty. It sounds like something a college student would do. No buns, ahh just use ramen noodles instead :LOL:

My 9 year old Grand Daughter thought is was pretty cool !
 
I can say I have never seen a Ramen bun.

It sounded so weird, I had to order it. Glad I did it was very good. I ate half of it with my burger and the next morning I threw the other half in a skillet with some onions and 3 eggs - very good breakfast !!

Sunday - Father's Day

No Workout

About 2 hours of push mowing early in the morning, came home got cleaned up and headed to my oldest daughter's house for a Pool Party and Smoked Ribs. This was my son-in-law's first attempt at smoking ribs and he did a great job. They were some of the best ribs I have ever had, the bark on them was perfect!! Needless to say I ate to much, but enjoyed the day with my daughter and grandkids! Life is Good!

Notes; My bicep is back to felling normal, and I was able to beat all my last work out reps and or poundage. I will continue to attempt this through the next 5 weight workouts and than do a deload for 6 workouts and than back to the record breaking (I hope). Sounds like a plan ! (?)

If I get a doggy bag it almost always ends up with a few eggs as the next mornings breakfast.

I always see your macros and think man I would be hungry if I was eatting like this :LOL: I guess your protein intake # probably helps a little with the hunger since it's higher in comparison to carbs and fat.

I do eat 5 times a day 6am, 9:30am, Noon, 3pm & 6pm

I can do low calories no issue but it would be hard for me to spread 1500 over 5 meals. I would always be starving.

That's not everyday, some week days are over 2000 and some weekends it may get to 4000. It's the Joe "Weider Calorie Confusion Principle" (for all you old guys)

Notes; I stepped up my calorie game today, we had the grand kids over for diner to night, my grand daughter requested Egg Noddle's, White Rice and Hamburger Gravy, we also had Pea's and Oreo's for desert. Pretty darn good meal. I did my thing this morning and added weight or reps again to all the movements. I must say it is starting to be a real challenge, but that's how we GROW. I went to the Doctor today for my quarterly blood work, I should get a call to see how it came out.

Putting in some good work, lots of volume. Those muscles are saying “feed me”.

You have to take advantage of a rogue taco truck parked in front of your work. That is like... the law or something.
 
My 3 o'clock meal was 3 taco's but I did not eat the yogurt I had planned !!

If you didn’t see the thread, 24 soft tacos from Taco Bell is currently the number to beat.

I do believe I could have beat that in my younger days!! I would at least try !!
