Got the day off today for what was supposed to be a long four day weekend.

My main guy on lawncare has been booshittin this week, leaving me hanging. Not a good time for this with all the rain and the days are getting shorter.

I ha e seven big azz yards to do today by myself on my day off. In the end, its all good 🤑

After today got a full weekend of fun and family time planned. Hope to go out to dinner on the boat/river tonight. Take the boys fishing in the morning and a 40th bday party tomorrow. Sunday is wife and I on boat all day. Monday is a pool and grill day.

How would you compare Rainbow Unicorn to Radical Skadattle?
Its tasty for sure, and is good imo. I have a case of both Unicorn and Skadattle. The skadattle leaves a nice after taste while unicorn is good while its going down. I know sounds weird.
Both are good products for sure

Small update in training and nutrition. As of September 1st I've gotten in a minimum of 4 workouts a week. Mainly consisting of lots of ground rolling, med weights, and one muscle group each day. So far, so good with no injuries.

Have made a promise to myself that I need to start taking more ine on one time with my kids. I have three so it can be pretty hectic at times with my wife and i both having full time jobs and we both have our own businesses that we run in the evenings and weekends. Time is flying bye as I will hit 40 this year and the kids are growing up too fast.
This weekend with my daughter and dest son was an all day event at the track. She absolutely loves being there with her big brother while he is racing.

True time does fly. I'm glad I can look back and say I was active in my Kids lives. Now it's granddaughters. I can pick and choose what events I want to go to. Plus only 3 are old enough to be in sports. 2 are swimmers and one a cheerleader. at least I get to see football when I go to watch her cheer. Swim meets are noisy.

Finally finally finally....this morning was the first workout I've had this month were i didnt have the attitude of " why am I doing this" type of crap. Didn't feel like I was just going through the motions. Ive just kept grinding through it and finally this morning I got my mojo back!!!

You know the lil bounce in your step, head bobbing to the music, lil scream here and there, talking to yourself!!! Yeah that mojo.
I needed it.

Can't wait til my new BFF stack gets to the door step, I know that will crank things up at 3am.

Another groovey workout this morning. 90 minutes. I can feel the strength and endurance increasing day by day. Need to buckle down on nutrition and sleep to get this thing rolling.

No training today. I needed the extra 2 hours of sleep. Woke up feeling lean and dehydrated. I can take care of that.

Work schedule has been brutal. For example as of this morning this is what my schedule has looked like this week.

Monday 14 hours between 10 hour day shift, then cut 3 yards by myself.

Tuesday 3am training, 10 hour day shift, cut two big azz yards by myself 17 hours

Wednesday 3am training, 10 hour day shift, cut 4 yards but had help 17 hours

Thursday. 3am training, 10 hour day shift, cut 4 yards 17 hours.

Today will be 10 hour day shift then hopefully 2 commercial properties this evening if the weather cooperates.

Tomorrow cemetary cut.

So you catch my drift here? By the end of the week I'm cooked and reality is, it all starts again on Monday.

This is why my training is not as intense as it is during the fall and winter.

So besides being a lil groggy and dehydrated this morning everything is g2g.

I do have some family time planned for this weekend, pond fishing tonight, deer hunting tomorrow evening, and hopefully a boat day on Sunday if it gets up to 80 degrees or better.

Probably get in a training session once over the weekend.

Bro! That is crazy. I remember those days. Too old for that now! LOL
My son has his own company and has been working like this for a few years now. I'm starting to help him expand into trusting employees and grow knowing he can't work like this forever. The Key is to plan and plan to stay flexible. there will be a time when an employee will let you down and you will have to pick up the slack. (always leave room for this! only 24 hrs in a day)

He has a great and understanding wife (this helps!) he still finds time for his wife and little girl. He still hits the gym most morning @ 4:30am. and understands nutrition.
(Sundays are church & no income work days.try to rest if you can) got to recharge the batteries or you won't be around for your family.

My wife is incredible. She is family first and picks up my slack around the house while I'm working. Another bonus is she isn't out blowing money as she does very well for herself .

I've been on this schedule for 5 years between March and November.

I will not be doing all this next year. Schedule got screwed up cause of covid. No softball for lil girl, no bball for my son so I just kept taking in work. Now its catching up to me.

My helper is a beast, him and I can do the job of four people no problem. He is younger and is about to have his third child in October. Ive slowly been training my 19 year old on the weekends to help out.

I think next year I will just keep my commercial sites and only residential that I get the whole package, you know the ones were i can mulch, powerwash, shrubs, and cut the grass.

Its been a good year financially, but I'm exhausted

Sounds like you got the game plan down brother!
I never had to deal with Covid when my kids were in sports. Never missed a game, coached my boys baseball and football till he went into school ball. Got lucky on my youngest daughter. didn't get sucked into coaching until she was 16!
All in all Life is good! My wife is great as well when it comes to not spending a lot of money. One of the things that ruined my first marriage 30 years ago.
