Today marks two weeks on MK-677 body weight is up about 10 lbs (water) strength is up a bit, endurance is ok, the pumps are crazy. My diet has been pretty loose and up about 200-500 calories a day, I look softer but bigger in the mirror. Overall I am happy with the progress.

Monitor your Blood Glucose. I bet it shot up while on MK677
If it gets too high you may need to pull back

What is your BG at!?
If it is spiking this is a big case why you may be lethargic.

That is pretty high. You will want to get that down into the 90's or high 80's. 103 is on the high end.
Listen to Bob on this one. Over 100 fasted is considered Pre-Diabetic. I would add in 500mg of Berberine to see if you can get it down, or start using nutrient timing to help alleviate that by keeping all or most of your carbs around or directly after your workout. Also you shouldn't be gaining so quickly even with water weight unless you are really overeating or your dose of MK is just a bit too high for you or a combination of both. MK is not a mass gainer by any means. It will help you recover but you are not going to see much extra muscle growth from it. Especially not in a short period of time, that is nutrition and water weight.

Nobody listens to the ginger kid bro
:)

BG way too high, most likely your going to add more water/fat if you keep insulin too high and MK is notorious for doing so. Especially because he wanted to jump right to a mass dose. I don't like MK due to the fact it can impair your BG, and when insulin is high there is a higher chance of fat storage when blood glucose is not in control. People don't prioritize their health, they just want to keep adding more and more and it can be a double edge sword.

I think one of the things most people don't associate to a steady increase of IGF is that the I stands for "Insulin-like" and it constantly being in the system in higher levels is the equivalent to constantly having insulin present in the blood stream. Insulin sensitivity drops, and I wouldn't be surprised for some of those year round users if they don't take themselves right into Type II diabetes. If nothing else that is a very good reason that this should be cycled. I understand it does not hurt the natural pulses, and that GH production goes back to normal but who cares if that goes back but you are diabetic... No good.

Not saying you Rocket, I know you are concerned about your health or appear to be. Just monitor and keep an eye on the fasting BG and try to keep it under 100. Berberine is your friend... Nutrient timing is too. Also not giving you a doomsday message just saying be careful about the health aspects of it.

Also as touched on by @The Solution once insulin sensitivity is lower you are for more likely to gain fat, especially since you said you were larger at one point. Those old fat cells are just waiting with a desire to refill itself with fat. Empty fat cells want to store something... that is why it is so much easier to regain fat. Once your cells have been large they are easily refilled, think of it like muscle memory just not on a good side of things.

Adding more supplements is not the answer.
This is a board that thrives off adding more and more and its a law of diminishing returns
Fix your nutrition, drop your MK677 dose to 12.5mg, and lower your BG.
There is 0 point in trying to over supplement when in reality he's taking too much MK and it's causing his BG to shoot up.

Keeping MK Dose high (Which causes BG to rise) can easily be fixed with a small nutritional change and lowering the dose. Instead of having him go out and spend more money to try and overcompensate his dosage.
This is why they are called "Supplements" to supplement his diet and training routine. Not to keep adding more fuel to the fire and having him spend more money

The 103 was not fasted it was Mid-Day and I'm sure most if not all the weight I gained is water, my ankles and feet are twice there normal size, I have cut the MK does back to 12.5 mg the last 2 days. Today I felt great !!

Well if not fasted then you’re likely doing great. Get your fasted values when you can to be sure of course.

But like you said, if ankles have huge edema that isn’t receding I would definitely keep the dose at 12.5 or drop if you can’t get the swelling to stop. I am on 12.5mg and feel I get a nice step up in recovery.

No, I agree it is not the answer, but it is an option, and a healthier one than just staying the course. Was stating if he wanted to keep the levels high then that is what he would want to do. Already made the suggestion to lower the dose earlier in the thread, as well as make nutritional adjustments so offering another option was my next step rather than repeating something that had been previously rejected. Dead horses feel no pain so not gonna beat one. :)

Excellent! Good to hear on the fact it was not a fasted reading and that you dropped the dose down.

Yeah, I think this is a nice range for general recovery improvement and not so much on the sides at all.

LMFAO!!! Absolutely not! More like a Clydesdale Baby!!! A live one to be specific.

Just pounding the same advice over and over once rejected or not acted on is not for me. I just evolve advice to another option that may be more palatable to the individual in question.

I treat myself to an occasional filled one, but I tend to go for the Apple Fritter when i want to have the best thing in the donut shop. This shop near the house makes them so good they go from crunchy to pretty much melting in your mouth and it is just awesome!!!!

I also love the cake donuts with the top half dipped in chocolate... Something about those!!!!

That aint the brand but sure looks exactly like them. I was bummed i got some the other day that looked like they might be the same but were just bland... If they were making these right near me I think I would end up having them relatively frequently. So I am probably lucky. I actually do look for them at convenience stores sometimes when i want a sweet snack.

OK, after about 5 weeks on The Mk-677 I had to pull the plug, I was up 20 lbs, I felt like a whale, had a hard time catching my breath, and the lethargy was terrible, I quit 3 days ago, down 3 lbs and the lethargy is 75% gone. I feel like a new man !!

It ain't for everyone. I did "okay" with it but had mild edema, most of the water I carried showed in my ankles. Now 10mg or maybe 20 if trying to heal something but I have some at home and still haven't pulled the trigger in it.
