Being the Salidroside might have a stim effect seems like first in morning then a few hours later might be best say near lunch to negate anything into the night.
Crap, I'm glad you posted in this thread. Got wrapped up in a few things and I'm heading to the gym now (430pm). I'll be taking my BMP, first time this late, and I will report back.

If you tend towards insomnia or stim sensitivity, then I would take the second dose early in the day. If you're one of those freaks that loves working out at 5am, honestly you have bigger mental problems to worry about. I hate you people. :::HITS SNOOZE BUTTON:::

Salidroside can have a stim effect. Just try to break dosage up to twice a day, though the preworkout dose does seem to be important.

We have two difficulties...half-life of the actual compounds, and "half-life" of the resulting BMP proteins. While we likely have a half-life of the formula (and p-GP inhibition) of 4-6 hours, it's too complex to calculate the rest.
The p-GP inhibition only lasts 4-6 hours? So if any meds were a potential issue, just taking them separately (meds 1 hour before?) would solve that, correct?

Obviously ask your doctor....(standard disclaimer)

Yeah, taking them before should solve any potential interactions.

I am one of those freaks so for me it would be a 4am type dose then again at say 9am-10am and call it a day ;)

Any chance of potentially getting a full body rash from BMP? Within the last few days I’ve developed a widespread rash on my body. Not saying it’s BMP but trying to grasp at straws.

I was on OG BMP for over six months and switched to the new version about five days ago. No side effects and the weights are starting to feel lighter meaning this new version is indeed an improvement on what BMP does best... which is add strength.

My wife has developed some redness on her upper chest; unsure if related but so far that’s it.

Hmm. Ok. I tried OG BMP and had no issues. Been on the new BMP since last week and redness started upper chest and now it’s almost all over. Probably unrelated to BMP but trying to figure out what it could be.

Perhaps the quercetin is messing with histamine?

I had a minor rash all over my torso the other day. I thought it may have been from sustain alpha and getting
a little too much sun. It wasn't too bad and went away. I am not sure what caused it. I have been taking BMP too.

Interesting. Like I said, might not be BMP related but my rash really got bad about a week - 10 days into BMP. My legs, especially my shins and calves are red blotchy and itchy. Same with my back, stomach, arms and upper chest. Hopefully it's nothing serious. I never break out like this. As of now, I'm still taking BMP. I'm just not 100% sure this is the cause.

Sounds even more like a histamine thing. If you have theanine, take 200mg and see if it helps.

Very interesting to see all the "rash" comments.. this is one aspect that makes me very nervous as I have some horrible allergies to begin with and tend to have some type of rash/itch almost all the time anyways (insert VD joke here) haha. Hoping its just coincidence cuz it could get ugly fast for me otherwise...

I’m just going to discontinue use right now. I don’t have much of a choice. My issue with getting a severe rash may have nothing to do with BMP at all. I just have to start eliminating things to find out.

Just a heads up about calcium:
Testicular aromatase cytochrome P450 (P450(arom); estrogen synthetase) activity was significantly increased by 2.4-fold in the Ca-deficient diet group compared to that in the regular diet group, and the aromatase mRNA level was also significantly increased 1.45-fold. Testicular aromatase activity was strongly correlated with aromatase mRNA level and serum estradiol level. These data suggest that the change in testicular aromatase expression might be, in part, a compensatory mechanism for the bone mineral deficiency induced by the Ca-deficient diet in aged male rats.

TLDR; Don't be calcium deficient. I am as i write this.

Rash seems to be subsiding. Not sure if it's just a coincidence or not after discontinuing BMP. I might hop back on BMP again and if I start to get a rash again, then I know for sure. As was previously pointed out, I wonder if it could be the Quercetin Dihydrate.

Right now, I only have theanine in a preworkout I am using (100mg). I might try to pick some up today or tomorrow. Anything else that could possibly help?

I use Thorne’s Probiota HistaminX all year round as well, and occasionally quality Boswellia extracts for pain but has the benefit of histamine reduction as well.

I should also mention there’s another product that I’ve used that gave me awful skin allergies to things I have no issue with otherwise and it also contains quercetin. It may be something else but it is highly coincidental.

I am currently on a prohormone cycle, but I also started BMP whenever it was that I received my preorder (2 weeks ago?)

Despite being on a prohormone cycle, I don’t get the sense of any acute boost in energy like I did from the pouches. I also haven’t noticed any odd side effects or rashes though either. I just took 2 a few minutes ago and will pay closer attention to any skin changes..

I was on the pouches before and had no skin issues. It must be the addition of Quercetin Dihydrate. Not like I was noticing much from the product anyways... as well. No strength increases or really anything to take note.

Actually, I think it might be the Sinomenium which seems to be linked to the release of histamine.

In contrast, Quercetin seems to inhibit histamine release..

Hmm. I’ll have to look into that. Well that’s another “new” ingredient that wasn’t in BMP before. And like I said, the previous batches I had no issues with skin irritation.

Maybe the body would adjust to it over time, but if the rash is that bad- you obviously have to discontinue.

It will be interesting to hear Matt’s input on this :)

What prohormone you using? I think I read Matt implying this is where it would shine, helping you create "new muscle" alongside the anabolics

The main players are Methyldiaz, Hexadrone, 3-AD, and Epiandro/Androsterone

It sounds like a lot, but it’s really not :)

The quercetin has a "skin protective" effect and it should not cause this, in theory.

Where on your body is the rash? Does the rash have bumps? Is it red, itchy skin without bumps? Is it warm to the touch? Any skin peeling?

What other supplements are you taking?

The sinomenine and other ingredients in BMP have history of being potentially helpful in autoimmune diseases and reduce histamines. Getting a rash from this seems unusual - but so is the tattoo thing.

Bone morphogenic proteins are certainly big players in cell differentiation, and that gets pretty complex...so almost anything could happen. I wouldn't throw away your BMP just yet though, but I would get off of it for a while and see if the rash goes away fully. If the rash is really that bad, you should go see a doctor as well.

I'm also wondering if there may be some kind of cross-interaction with something else you are taking.

Theoretically it should, yes, but the other product that caused me issues and this one only have quercetin in common and it’s causing similar issues. 🤷‍♂️

Rash is red and blotchy. Very itchy. Primarily on my shins and calves. Also legs, back, upper chest.

Other supplements: Right now, CEL Stano-Plex, CEL Epi-Plex, citrulline, taurine.

Maybe it's not BMP. I don't know for sure. But I'm not on much else. This really only started about 10 days into BMP.

Got it, I appreciate keeping names out of this. Interesting and difficult to say with all the ingredients in both product. There is not much obvious overlap.

Was it ever explained why Sinomenine and Quercetin were added to the formula? Essentially a pro-histamine and an anti-histamine at odds here. Quercetin is commonly known to not be all that bioavailable though...so the the Sinomenine would win. I am not sure if the dihydrate form resolves the bioavailability issue though. Apparently not enough for some people in this thread anyway.

Edit: Oh, I just saw that the goal is to inhibit the P-glycoprotein efflux pump with these ingredients...
