Gaining muscles while losing fat. HGP tries the impossible, watch me fail!

Yeah quality is a factor for sure. I was lucky (If you can call it that) that a friend of ours was a relatively big dealer so we’d be on the same he was on (and that wasn’t always the same as what he sold to others)......

The loved up feeling used to be pretty special, I was in a good group of people and we spent fcuking hours telling each other how much we loved them or just kissing and cuddling. I loved being high (even if I never quite repeated that first magical night) but found the come downs got worse as time went on. Started losing a couple of days just getting over a night out
I'm with you bro... I def was in that circle back then... There was a group of us all had our hands in different things. I got exceptional X. Often was given more than I would ever take (some of my boys would just throw me 10 pacs on the house). It went both ways though as I was primarily selling oxycontin and other pills and we would give each other stuff regularly. I wouldnt take it without making sure I had at least 2-3 xanax bars on me at all times. In case things got too absurd they would bring me down quickly and ensure a good looong nights sleep lol.

I was in my 20s then and felt invincible. I sure as shyt hit a wall lol. A lot of my friends didnt make it out so well... Some did. I was lucky bro.... Feel like ive had 3 lives and I'm only 41. But I know you can relate
 
Nothing more fun then me and the wife eating molly and ****ing for 4+ hours lol. I just hate the next few days, really drains u, the molly, not the sex.
 
Tomorrow starts my water fast.
Friday was the "molly - day" and low carb with about 2000 kcal -but 6000 kcal burned, LOL. Saturday was about 1500kcal and 40gr carbs. Today, Sunday, about 60gr carbs in form of fruits and about 1800 kcal. Pretty good for a pre-fast kick start.
My wife will go for at least 3 days starting Monday too, will be easier for me, as she doesn't cook for us.
Will open a short log for this adventure with pics and comments about how I feel and suffer.

It’s not hard to fathom — fasting causes a massive bacterial and fungal die-off. Plaque is just a bacterial biofilm and once that biofilm is destroyed the underlying tooth staining quickly reverses.

Even a massive calorie (deficit) would lead to muscle breakdown, a fat reduction with fasting almost always leads to a fatgain while getting the muscles back. You're not gonna get shredded because you have a high gh for a couple of days, you'd just lose fat because you don't eat.

I was just sick and lost roughly 15lbs, mostly water and I depleted, my diet was not amazing but fairly clean, I went back to the same weight with mk677 and I'm a still lean but not like before. Before I got sick I was at very low bodyfat with an extremely clean diet that consisted of 200gr of carbs, high fat and protein and I've been standing still for months, it's really on the verge of eating too little, just maintaining. If I want to go back to what I looked like I'd have to eat the same amount of calories as when I started but since im underweight the calorie intake would be too high and I'd be adding fat. The only way to get back would be to change my intake slowly and gradually get back to my normal intake.

Now yes it can be done but according to studies most people gain fat back probably because just like you mentioned, muscles can be gained back fast and that's not always the best way to do it.

What I do believe is that a short fast or someone who's willing to lose size would benefit far more than someone that wants to get size back within two weeks.

It has been proven that when it comes to comparing simple CR and fasting for weight loss that fasting preserves muscle better by a statistically significant margin. The issue with CR is that you never turn on any of the body's natural survival tactics that occur when fasting to retain muscle in order to ensure survival. Glucagon and insulin levels levels go up and down and there is a lot of cortisol running around but no glucagon to keep it from attacking the muscles. With fasting the stable or increasing levels of glucagon keeps the muscle from being attacked, but this does not happen with normal CR.

The tingling and amazing feeling of stretching is incredible but yeah sex is pretty much impossible until you start coming down, the perfect scenario is the girl still being high though - amazing for them and you. Christ I miss e sometimes lol
It really comes down to serotonin levels, it causes you to blast through serotonin like nobodies business which is why the period after it you can be sad, moody, and emotional. If you try to do it again too soon you will not have had much time at all to replenish the serotonin. This was another one I used to use quite a bit. Like I mentioned before I like psychoactive drugs and used them more than anything else. Never was into downers, speed, or the like. Just LSD, X, and Mary Jane!

Oh yeah, this is what it all came down to in the end. At first we like to go out dancing, or playing with glow sticks and all that nonsense then go home for a 3-8 hour session... After a while it was just staying home for an all night get down session. No wasted time or money. However the serotonin thing ended up weighing heavily on the wife and I said NO MORE, and that was it.

Damn somehow I missed the whole HGP takin X at a rave and dancing himself lean! Then the stories of GodStrength in his 20s and how he's lucky to have made it out.. or GrizzleB and his wifey enjoyin the Molly train. I can relate to both fully.

Brah, shortly after trying mdma in 2011 when me and the wife got together, a buddy on Oakland mailed me an Oz of mda. It was the strongest, purest stuff I'd ever had. Needless to say, we went on the most insane month long binge with friends. When it was all gone we were ****ed for 2 straight weeks. In bed having like weird withdrawals. Awake but feeling like the room was coming in on us, we literally were doing it daily on excess for a month. So glad I cleaned up my act, I will never forgot that experience though. So high at times we were making random statements to people that weren't there. Lol, fun times, scary times.

I would say you have made some good decisions. It is better to never try a lot of that stuff. There is a reason too, it tends to feel better than most other things in life so you want to experience it again. Other things in life that feel great are often improved by them. So you can see how it can be so easy to get in the trap. I wish I had never been exposed to them, I think I would be farther along in life. More successful and what not but I have no idea if that actually equates to being happier in life.

I got stuck not only doing the drugs, but in the middle of some serious sh1t. Do I regret it? Of course, but I am also thankful that I made it out alive with some street smarts under my belt too!!
Lost alot along the way, best friends, money, business, home, pretty much everything. Would never go down that path again, but here we are now. Good to go!!!

I'm lucky. I really do not have the "addiction gene". It always ended with "trying it", nothing stuck. Some things I "tried" for years, then just dropped it. For the last few years I drank once a week when socializing, that's all. Now I found X. Would never take that outside a crowded Rave party, same for alcohol. In my whole life I never drank alone, not even beer. As Rave parties are very rare where I live, my drug consumption will be limited to once -or twice a month - one pill. Knowing myself, that will never turn into a problem.

My mother was -and is still a alcoholic. I have a deep respect for the people who could drop it.
 
Its good for all you peeps who never got into things. While I still enjoy psychadelics and mdma from time to time, I've overcome the biggest obstacle in my life recently. Me and the wife were addicted to cocaine. Since 2011 we did it weekly, then daily, then the last few years it was at least 3 times a week. Heavy use, lots of alcohol too. If I was doing that I was drinking and smoking cigs. We quit 7 months ago, hardest thing we ever did. I never thought we could, we were spending almost all our cash every paycheck on it. I can gladly say we are done. 7 months off, same with alcohol, quit that too. It kills me to think how much money and time we wasted. But on the other hand, it makes me look forward to the future together. Free of the grip it once had on us, and we no longer are broke. I actually have cash in my wallet all the time and can focus on my family, her, and my overall health since it was always struggling during those times. The future is looking bright

Kudos to you! Yep, cocaine. Dropped it years ago, when it changed my character for the worse (yes, I can be worse, LOL). Lost some of my best friends who got hooked and went paranoid over time.

I'm not so happy -but I have to find my pace with the new diet. Gonna change training routine from full body to split. As soon as my keto - piss - strips arrive, I will fiddle around and maybe back-load every 4 days, depending what the strips indicate. Its a new beginning, obviously it has its quirks.

Also, the fact I'm using nandrolone is something to take into account. I'm sure I could look leaner when off of it. With - or without nandrolone, I have first to get leaner, have to stop bullsh1tting myself, LOL.

Did not use the scale as I had no bowel movement after the diarrhea -and am still full of pasta. Used the scale before going to bed and it said 99kg, LOL. Exactly what I thought, after 1 gallon of water + electrolytes + 1,5 kg of noodles.

It isn't that serious. Just saying the test strips are only good to use in the beginning stages of ketosis. Technically you dont even need strips, or a blood test. I got a keto mojo to perform ketogenic experiments. See my carb threshold and such.
 
Fat loss can be as simple as eat less, and excercise. I fail nearly everytime I try to over complicate things.
 
Still going strong with the keto+IF. Lowered fat intake in favor of protein to get total cals down a bit, now staying around 1800 kcal/d.

What abs? Can't see a hint, just obliques. Honestly, don't work them much -but doing lots of exercises were abs are required, like push ups, bw horizontal rows and pull ups with legs at 90 degrees. Now implementing crunches, as I have to train them to see them, right?

I'm not being sarcastic, it looks on your pictures that you have to cut to get definition sure but it also looks like you have big abs cause they are noticible even though you're not cut up.
