And on the seventh day of training, Big Ron shouted, “Yeah Budd-ayyy!” and saw that it was good

I would like to be that big for about 1 week !!

Now imagine, this guy stands on your porch and says:"I heard you fugged my wife."

I’m shouting ‘is that Arnold behind you’ and hauling ass when he turns round.

He’s gotta catch me to beat me and running is quite literally the only thing I’m confident I could beat him at lol

I would first gain time by saying: "Man, is that a bit of gyno on your right tit?". That will have him occupied for at least a few seconds, the time I need to get my miniature schnauzer off the chain.

I did want to ask, what was the purpose of the vegetarian day? Is it something you are doing in an effort to help with micronutrients? If to give the stomach a break not having to digest meat then I would use fruits, peppers and green leafy vegetables over whole grains, and cruciferous(sp?) veggies like broccoli and whatnot.

No scientific purpose here.
My wife sometimes cooks vegan and I just go with the flow. Its about once a week. Still watching protein though.

We were taught that in Nursery School !!

Oh, that's there phone, I thought all these people had some kind of new fangled thumb exerciser.................. I leave my phone in my truck when i'm in the gym (commercial Gym)

I just don’t have a phone. Works for me.

Man, HGP, you are doing some serious high volume. Making my joints hurt reading your training routines.

Nah, that is my "calm phase". Keep in mind I don't go heavy most of the time. It may go up to 50+ sets. Today is such a day. Planned is 90 minutes of total mayhem with a following 3 days off. I felt it coming, the beast must be unleashed. Muhahaha!

Well heck, why not just do 10x10s of every exercise?
I like switching exercises.
Once I was bored and decided to do 2 sets to failure on every machine in the gym. Killed it on 27 machines out of 35. Problem was, the gym had a lot of repeating machines, I ended up doing a sh1tload of rows this day. You should try it!

My gym doesn’t have many machines... 10? But we have four squat racks.

I would think 10 sets (each) of 6-10 different exercises would suffice. Bonus points if you can finish in under two hours, Double bonus if you can finish in under one hour. Points only awarded if you use your 10 rep max weight for all sets.

When I volume, that’s how I do it.

Nah, YOU do it! Sadistic mofo! LOL

Some of your workouts remind me of a guy I used to train with occasionally (years ago) he was twice my age and tried to kill me ever time!!

Old Witch Yikes, I assume points are never rewarded then... oh wait you didn't say 10x10, I was thinking no friggin way!!!
I have a couple of questions, but first are you being serious or playing around cuz it sounds brutal. Second, if serious how many reps are you typically down to by the 10th set at your 10 rep max? I think I would be in the triples maybe even singles by the end of that for each exercise. Then again I am pretty explosive but can gas out pretty quickly at high effort levels so that makes sense for me.

Nah, YOU do it! Sadistic mofo! LOL
I'm saying right.

Still want to hear about it! ;)

Its not only a positive threat to be so obsessive and masochistic.
3 former training partners quit on me in the last 6 month. My daughter is still on track, but does at least 2 days pause between workouts.
My new training partner is way overweight, 325lbs, he is fighting and doesn't skip a gym day. He lost 30lbs in the last 2 month and gained a ton of strength.
I guess bodybuilding is for me like everything in life. Once I decide to do it, its all out. Same applied when I used drugs (6 years free of that sh1t now, besides some alcohol on weekends).

It's funny but when I work out with people they often tell me my workouts kicked their ass. Even people who do noticeably more volume than I do. I think it is the intensity that I have learned to apply over the years, and that I push them to apply the same level to all of their reps and sets. No going through the motions... no cheats to create efficiency of movement, just direct and FOCUSED work toward the goal.
