Kat and Puccah's Strong is the new sexy log

That’s super awesome! Kansas was boring and flat to me but every state has their little hidden gem. Did you catch anything?
South Eastern Kansas is really pretty.
My cardio game is not that good so I can't catch deer. :p
I did shoot a doe, though.
I had traps set for coyotes and bobcats while I was at my in-laws and did catch a swift fox. It was too cute and I couldn't bring myself to kill it so I let it go.

Omg!!!!!!!!!! Poor fox!!!!! Do you eat these animals?

No, and unfortunately these little guys sometimes get caught up on the traps, but coyotes need their numbers thinned. They are a nuisance animal that are a danger to livestock as well as domesticated pets and people for that matter. Kind of like wild hogs in Texas, except wild hogs populations grows incredibly fast!!!!

and sometimes skunks! I hate that.

Was at a wild game feed one time and there was a guy who brought barbeque coyote. Looked like pulled pork almost. Definitely did not taste like pulled pork.

Dare I ask... what DID it taste like?

I'm a pretty adventurous eater, and there's not a whole lot that I won't at least try. I won't say it was the worst thing I've ever ate, but it's definitely top 5. And I've eaten some pretty disgusting stuff.

No it didn't. It was incredibly strong. There's really nothing that I can compare it to. If you've ever skinned a coyote then you know what it smells like. It tasted like it smelled.
My life is much less adventurous than yours. I haven't skinned a coyote and don't plan to! Haha. I do believe you on the taste, though!

I tried it once just to see what it was like. Stunk up my kitchen and it tasted nasty!! Never again. I've tried almost every kind of animal I have ever killed but a lot of them will never be eaten again.

One of my Dad's favorite meals was calf brains and eggs. Probably had it twice a month during my childhood. Chitterlings, Sweetbreads (it's not bread) and every animal in the Midwest showed up on the table at some point. Seal blubber, seal eyes and Moose tongue while visiting friends in Alaska, and a Balut egg my son got for me when he was a chef in Chicago. The seal eye and the balut egg was the toughest to get down.

I've always found it interesting what different cultures consider acceptable food. My Dad always said it was good to be open minded. You never know what you might have to eat to survive.

I remember growing up my grandfather loved Nutria spaghetti. Ugly little varmit, stunk up the house horribly while cooking it, but it tasted good.

Wasn't there some program in place trying to get people to shoot them for a food source? Seems like I remember hearing something about trying to reduce their numbers due to the damage they were causing.

Yeah, I would imagine domestic dog would taste much better. Coyote would just be too gamey... Now a spoiled Dane or Mastiff might provide some good eating!

I don’t consider myself a picky eater but there’s a possibility I’d die if I ever got in a situation to where those were my food options! I guess I’ve lived a fairly sheltered life hahaha

Yuck! I’m with you, Kat! I would die. It’s the reason why I have not visited my grandma in Laos, it would starve to death. Hmmmm... maybe a good diet plan?

Edit- Oops...Not sure why my phone decided to post again. Haha

There for a while you could turn in the tails to local sheriff dept and get 5 bucks a tail. It's was to help with over population.

Yeah they where trying to get people to kill them more often. They destroy the marsh lands. Problem is, even though they are related to the beaver family, because they are called a Nutria Rat, because of their round tail rather than flat. Most people can't get past the "rat" part when it comes to eating them

Beaver (actual flat tail, water slapping, tree bark eating Beaver) is actually pretty good. Same with Muskrat. I think a lot of it has to do how it's handled and cooked.

Omg......

I try to keep it to just my fingers and not my whole hands. It's usually too much of a mess if I have to get my whole hand involved. It's finger food.

I’m sure it appreciates that as well! Lol

So I did log everything but Friday of last week but I won’t worry with posting it. Friday I got up early to train at 5 due to a TON of Christmas baking and then a Christmas party for hubby’s work that night.

Aww thank you! No I didn’t...it’s all natural! It’s not grey Jkn Does it look more blonde or something?

Sorry, Don't know anything about Ajuga Turkest Extract. Flexatril works for me and haven't really bother with anything else.

Following to see how this works for you?

Buy a capping tool and the appropriate size gel caps. I've tried bulk powder in juice, sports drinks and numerous other ways but a lot of them are just nasty and very difficult to take that way. Capping is easy and not that time consuming.

I was going to say, it depends on how it tastes... some stuff is horrible and bitter. Some stuff you can toss in your mouth and take a swig to wash it down no big deal. A capping machine is always nice if doing bulk stuff too.

You guys talk about eating nutria rat and all that other stuff but can't swig down some nasty powders? Cmon. You guys prolly wouldn't believe some of the concoctions I, aleeve up on a regular basis and swig down.
Here's one to try (I use for inflammation and clotting)-
2-3oz apple cider vinegar
1oz lemon juice
Teaspoon of red pepper/cayenne powder
2 teaspoon of paprika

And often toss in broken cell wall chlorella, turmeric powder and other nasty crap. Burns like hell, "oh yeah"Invalid Link Removed

I couldn't get away with the cayenne like that due to my reflux issues. I definitely used to take some nasty stuff that way, but I am not gonna advise poor Kat to punish herself unless convenience is just more important to her. I even used to take Berberine powder and holy crap that is horrible... and yellow, and stains everything. It is why I ended up getting a capper actually. The yellow would get on you and stain you, even your skin.

The mix you have above actually doesn't look too bad short of what it would do to my reflux. I love spicy stuff. It's amazing the crap we will do for this lifestyle though isn't it?

So Pretty!!

Thank you!!

I would have left the party early! just saying.

Haha thanks! I wish! He was too busy getting toasty!

It’s what the same as the exubol I logged. Just the bulk powder version. I haven’t tried Flexatril.

That’s what I was thinking! Actually emptied some expired capsules of some stuff someone gave me but I’d never take and made me a few until I get a kit to make several at a time!

It is horrible! I attempted to just take a spoonful and then tried mixing in warm water and shooting it! I was like a kid taking nasty medicine- making all sorts of faces and shaking! Hahahaha

No matter how far you’ve strayed, you always go back to what’s familiar. It’s been almost a year since I’ve squatted.

How did it feel! I sure miss squatting!!!

It sucked! I’m a weakling now. You haven’t been squatting either?

You’ll get your strength back! I have no doubt!

I can’t squat due to a labral hip tear. It’s been 3-4 months.

Aww, gotta let it heal first. The squat rack will always be there. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!!! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

I tore the same one twice and squatting any more than "play weight" is put. I'll just add 20-40lbs to the bar and try to do 25-35 of perfect form and strength does go up but not like normal squatting-more of a protective exercise.
Been doing some research on stretching certain muscles and hip joints and all that good stuff. Damn good if you take it slow.

And btw you can out lift my arse any day of the week so just keep killing it, you're one strong ass chica.

Oh yeah- merry Christmas all. I didn't do much but sleep so I kinda forgot everyone was celebrating. Hope all of the members had a decent Christmas.
And my best wishes to big S, I know that the holiday was not so fun for that person.
