Don't bother, they don't listen. Cost savings, just use the same flavoring and release the same flavor year after year...no R&D costs on a new flavor, etc. As soon as they said "Well our Instagram followers wanted WCM over Pumpkin, Gingerbread, etc." I wrote them off.
I am more than happy to listen to customer criticisms as we take all feedback very seriously.
I have never really been a vanilla guy. I actually argued against us ever launching it. The company owner said we wanted to launch a vanilla that we genuinely felt was the best tasting on the market otherwise we wouldn't bother. Some customers still buy vanilla as a flavour so we should see what we can do.
I am working hard on paperwork to export to Australasia as we speak now we have a new distributor there. It is quite a time consuming process though so I apologise for the delay. Once the paperwork is finalised they intend to import all Select flavours so all of them (white chocolate mint aside) should be available to you then.
Not to mention the vast array of products and flavors we have released in that same year time frame from the last heavenly WCM release.
As always great response Ben. When looking at it we do seem pretty selfish and greedy releasing a largely requested customer favorite for a one time sale at an amazing 19.99 price on a 2lb tub.I am more than happy to listen to customer criticisms as we take all feedback very seriously.
I am going to have to correct you on a few things though.
1) You say we "don't listen". Do you know how many flavours we have experimented with solely because people on the forums or on social media have requested them? We are literally experimenting with several flavours of several products at any one time. If you think we don't listen to people you are 100% mistaken.
2) If we wanted to save costs we would have never bothered tweaking the white chocolate mint flavouring. It sold really well one year so why bother trying to make it better? We thought we could improve it so we spent time and money improving it even though we knew it would sell anyway.
3) If this was solely about money we wouldn't even release the white chocolate mint flavour again. The profit margins on protein are tiny so it would make no sense to launch a limited flavour we sold before when we make barely any money on it. Keep in mind that we have to contribute to shipping costs to keep them as low as we can for customers. The insider sale isn't even about building hype for a new flavour we are about to release because once this is sold out it is sold out. It isn't like it creates a huge amount of hype for a flavour that is about to be sold across the market.
4) You are using it against us that we say we are listening to customers. If this is a bad thing then we are 100% guilty.
To summarise, relaunching a limited edition flavour with such an aggressive price point makes absolutely no sense because it isn't anywhere near as profitable as launching a product which is then sold for $10 more on our website and then rolled out across the entire market.
We actually didn't intend to do white chocolate mint after the first year but we got so many requests for it we decided to do it again. The same thing happened this year. This doesn't mean we aren't working on new flavours, it just means we decided to keep the large amount of customers who had been asking for this happy. We are still working on other flavours.
Look at our Instagram feed and see how many people say they love the flavour and how many people say they wanted it back. That is exactly the reason we launched it again.
Maybe you don't like the flavour (fine, personal preferences and all) but to say we don't invest money into developing new flavours could not really be further from the truth lol.
The other thing is, our flavouring process also takes a lot longer now than it did when we first launched.

By the way, there was some back and forth regarding Malaysia (there were some complications they hadn't made me aware of) and are now ready to move forward.

Slightly. The overpowering flavor was evened out and has had amazing feedback from those who thought the mint was a bit much on the initial release.

As said previously I love all there flavors but the WCM didn't do it for me last year. Now with them updating the flavor would they be willing to send out sample packs for people to try and fall in love with?Just the right ratio was achieved!

lol - I am Mr. Negative I know - but check back after you've had 3/4 or more of the tub and let me know how you like it then. I'm HOPING the new flavor doesn't have the same effect it had on me 2 years ago, but it got old fast...so I only ordered 1 tub this time around, but I may be surprised. It's seasonal, and honestly, just kind of fun anyway so 1 tub is good even if it's not the best. I will either be pleasantly surprised or I will end up with KJ and just have to stick to EVERY OTHER FLAVOR of PES. They are all top notch...I just may not like the minty proteins. haha.
Haha, that is tough. I am a PB lover by nature, so PBCup is great and I feel like my loyalty to PB means that should be my favorite, but, I honestly think CNC really is the #1. Surprisingly, the FCC is a close close 3rd behind PBC. Vanilla and Snickerdoodle are solid. Any of the standard flavors from PES are good enough that I really look forward to them.Always strange to read a review of something you LOVE and hear it wasn’t fully enjoyed.

Tastebuds are fickle and unique, we’re lucky people find common ground at all and mass production of products is even possible. We know not everyone will experience it the same, which sucks, but at least our flavour selection is ever broadening

Glad you love it brother. I seriously go on a binge right when the seasonal release happens then take a month off then binge again. After that I leave a tub to occasionally get a shake in and finish it off before the next drop. Works perfectly and I always get my fix when I want it!

We launched the insider as soon as they got to the warehouse and to be courteous I waited to put my order through as I didn't want to add burden to the already busy warehouse schedule so thought I would let all customer orders to first.
Unfortunately for me (selfishly) this meant everything sold out and I never got to order a tub.
This year we manufactured more and I put my order through as soon as the insider was finished so they will be with me next week.
PB Cookie is by far my favorite!
PB cookie has had me hooked for a while. I usually can't even put an order for my top flavors as I usually just rotate them and tend to switch favorites so often. At the moment I'm using PB cookie, WCM, FCC and CPBC and rotate them almost every day. Keeps each one fresh for me.
White Chocolate Mint is my favorite. Everytime I open the tub the aroma puts a smile on my face. I just love MINT.
That was actually my first request when Select was in the development stages. This was close enough so I make sure to stock up when it releases. That is my favorite ice cream flavor.
I actually enjoyed the first version and it got mainly positive feedback but dialing back the mint to chocolate ratio was for sure the real winner. Glad you enjoyed sir.
Ya I am going to fly through my first tub.
Definitely like the texture of the WCM in milk. I usually love a thin mixture but something about WCM stands out with that thick consistency.
