Morning, 25mg, every day. Loving it. If you're just starting, you may want to ease into the full dose... a week or two at 15 and then 20.

If you didn't run none of these, definitely start with just the mk677 by itself

I haven't run none of them. So I think I must also start with 10mg? for how long then to increase the dose? In the study they find 25mg effective but how do you get into 25mg with 10mg per capsule?

You can do 20 or 30,
25 is seems to be the sweet spot, but 20-30 should be good too. OL recommends increaseing the dose every month, First 10
Second 20
Third 30
But i think it's more individual.
See how you responding to 10mg, how the hunger will be and the water retention, and workout your way up from there to 20 or 30

So I should feel more hunger and water retention? Or is that not good sign?

You will feel hungrier, yes it is a good sign(if you are bulking :D ), water retention shoudn't crazy, just keep sodium at moderate level, and dont forget to consume potassium foods ;) again, some maybe get crazy water retention and some not, it's depends on the person.

ok but when should I take it? on the morning or before bed?
Some find that taking it in the am alleviates some of the sleep issues and tiredness during the day. Also from what i hear, the strongest pulses come ~12hr after dosing, which would make a morning dose ideal.

Yep agree with above. AM/PM dose is subjective. You'll know which is preferable for you. MK may give you lethargy or feel like a stimulant. Some experience neither. For me it's AM dosing until I get used to it. Having said that once the initial sides fade (several weeks) you may not notice much at all on MK and dosing time will be irrelevent.

He lost me when he said "It wasn't as antibiot...antibiotic..antibotic as I thought it would be." LOL.
As he said, he went to school in Oakland... Antibiotic...anabolic... It's close. Right?

I just got my first bottle a few days ago and it is 10mg caps. I have read in various places MK has a half life of 24 hours. Before getting all the way through this thread I started taking 2 caps/day (now I see to start at 10mg... but no bad sides yet). Anyway, with that half life, if I want to go to 25 in a couple weeks, could I alternate 2 and 3 caps every other day to average 25mg?

Also, I'm not sure if I can post brands, if not someone please delete the name or let me know. Just curious if anyone has had experience with Alchemy Labs MK677. Good? Bad?

Only been 3 or 4 days for me so far.
Maybe a tad hungrier (could be placebo effect... or as that youtuber from Oakland might say, Placenta effect)
I generally sleep like crap, but feel like I have slept a little better.
No thirstier or bloating yet... but I am already fatter from nursing an injury. So I might not notice bloat the same as those here who are serious builders. I'm more of a runner that likes lifting.

Thanks in advance.

And HAPPY NEW YEAR

Great forum, appreciate all the info on MK677. Does anyone know if MK677 is detectable in a URINE steroid test? I've read that it affects HGH and IGF-1 levels so would that make it only detectable in a blood test? If it is, what is the detection time? I REALLY need some info. Thanks in advance!!!!

Am very interested in running MK-677 after a pro hormone pre-competition cycle. Would like to try it throughout the summer to see its leaning effects. Would MK-677 be tough on someone with moderate adrenal fatigue? If anything wouldn't more growth hormone production produce healing effects in suboptimal organs? Anyone ever try Blue Sky Pep MK?
There's just absolutely no real evidence to suggest that adrenal fatigue even exists so that's not answerable at present... Peptides tend to raise cortisol though and cortisol is an adrenal hormone so it would stimulate the adrenals to work harder in theory if that level of thought is applied.

There are two main problems: water retention and fat storage. While the water stuff is not a problem (reducing sodium, after cycle it will leave itself) the increasing insulin resistance is the bigger problem. Serveral studies have shown that the decreasing of insulin sensitivity starts fast with the beginning of the cycle and lasts for approx. 26 (!) weeks.

This fact decreases the attractivness of MK-677 a bit. Remember: it's still a powerful drug but you have to pay 10x more attention WHAT you are eating (amount and quality). Bad input leads to bad output.
You can still use MK-677 short term (<3 months) or run it moderate to long term (6-12months). In the second case you will have the advantage that your body will regenerate itself beloning to the insulin sensitivity. In the first case (and in the second case for the first six months) you have to watch out like your neighbours watch dog.

Nevertheless, the increase of GH, IGF-1 and the enourmous regeneration time under MK-677 makes it still very attractive.

Does this told fact MK-677 more attractive during a cutting phase? Maybe. The reduced insulin sensitivity leads in any cases to a higher probability to storage the nutrition in the fat instead in the muscle.

Pay attentions folks. If you treat MK-677 like it deserves it will give you its true love. If not, you will gain like me 4.4lbs fat and nearly 4lbs water beside 9.9lbs lean mass (with a strong SARM stack).

san
So based on your experience and the research you have done the degree of insulin resistance is dose / cycle length specific (and of course diet goes without saying)?

What do you think the prospects are for somebody rubbing 10mg per morning along with a GDA for 4-6 weeks (carbs would be clean low - med GI at around 200-250 / day.

How do you think that would go on insulin sensitivity and blood glucose? Setting yourself up for diabetes is very much wanted to be avoided....

MK 677 does not elevate igf1 like exogenous gh in a "typical" 3iu per day dose.

Insulin resistance won't be an issue unless your pounding carbs which in itself will cause it.

From personal experience currently running MK it is responsible for my recomp effects. After 5 months use my BF% has dropped considerably despite no changes to my diet. Having said that changes did not come overnight and it was around the 3 month mark at 25mg ED I started noticing benefits in terms of fat loss while continuing to gain lean mass. Pumps in the gym are insane too much like I got training as a teen.

As an older guy (31) I can bascially eat like I did in my early 20's. It feels good to turn back the clock in atleast this one apsect. Ofcourse benefits/sides are going to be subjective. If you're not one to experience sides associated with MK there's a lot of good to come from it. If it makes you eat like a madman all the time no doubt you'll gain fat. Having been VERY sensitive to MK from the getgo, Insomnia, anxiety etc (had to start at 5mg doses) all I experience now is the benefits.

I do believe it's the initial sides which can for many be overcome in time as studies have also shown that keep people off the MK bandwagon. Biggest problem is most companies selling MK don't recommend a strategic "loading phase". We always preach going easy on anabolics (low doses) to assess and mitigate sides but never in regards to MK.

Well it's just that I've seen a lot of posts with users complaining about significantly raised blood sugar - even when fasted. And all the studies note insulin resistance developing

FWIW I've been on MK for over 6 months now and my blood sugar hasn't been affected at all.

The time it takes for increased insulin resistance to subside (26 weeks?) in accordance with one study may well be subjective. Sounds like it. Next time I go for bloods I'll take note where my blood sugar is at.

My Doc is working to get me on Saizen 1IU daily. The hoops he has to jump through are amazing. My IGF-1 was 124 the last go around on blood work. My Doc also has me on IM Test, Nandrolone, Stanz. The Stanz is lowering my SHBG which was 70 in Sept 2016 and 46 now after 3 months of the IM injections. I am concerned about shutting off natural T, but that is a different post.
A little more backstory - health declined after a 7 day cruise where my digestion just stopped....completely. Long story.. but seemed to have developed small bowel bacterial overgrowth which I have had off/on that last 3 years.

Back to HGH... MK677. From reading, seems like 1IU will probably help me heal and sleep a little better. I would also assume that I will be dosing in the morning. What I'm looking into now, is boosting my natural HGH production at night. Providing substrate...like alpha GPC, arginine etc before bed.. or trying Mucuna Pruriens.. ?

Is there anyone using MK677 and HGH?

Or taking supplements at night to boost natural while taking HGH in the morning?

Doc really wants me to gain weight. at my low point during illness was 148lbs.. I'm 6'2". I'm currently at 166lbs and have been given the green light to lift (docs wanted me to heal at first - so I was restricted to light lifting once or twice week). I have a pretty good frame (shoulders, long torso, thick legs for a skinny guy)... I am currently 1 lb heavier then my weight at 15.. and my high school senior weight was 180 and lean. Age 43. I have also had 4 shoulder surgeries on left shoulder, so it has limited work capacity.. but I can manage that now...

another thought.. after 16 weeks of 1IU dosing.. could it make sense to do a 5/2? have 2 days of the 5 where I dose 2IU.. and the off days (2) take MK677 at night? I probably won't dabble with it since my main goal is to get healthy again and I should run everything through my Doc.. but was jsut curious if anyone has tried that....

I have a bad habit of including too much in 1 post.. too many ?s :) Main goal of this post is too boost natural HGH production at night with supplements or MK677. Anything else learned is a benefit. Also want to mention that this board has really helped me understand HGH and set expectations (dosage, patience needed for 1IU etc..)

I've ran MK and GH together. The water retention can get pretty bad. Bad enough to stop the MK before the sides diminished.

If igf was elevated enough I could see that as an issue Yeah you're correct but through my own experience it wasn't an issue.

I personally haven't seen an igf number over 280 while using MK. GH serum does get elevated quite a bit though. Saw a recent test where the greater) tester showed 4. Something on his serum.

3 and 310 are the numbers a guy relayed. Mid-Forties, 25mg/Day

The two RC's that used to be on here, aren't anymore. Don't know who's choice that was, but the answer to your question is "None". You'll have to do your due diligence and find your own.

So just to confirm... this is a legal supp right? I can't find anything about it being banned.

It's stolen IP from Merck that is only sold as "Not For Human Consumption" - like drain cleaner and gasoline. You're question has been debated for 100's of pages before, on what exactly constitutes "not illegal" in relation to these types of products. The best answer is that to the internet's knowledge, nobody has ever been arrested for purchasing MK-677 from an RC site. Visa will let it go through, and the Post Office will deliver it - and no one seems to have ever gotten a "knock on the door" after that...

Oh, and it's an Experimental DRUG. We may all die because of it in 10 years.

Yeah but it will be a great 10 years :p Honestly probably should have waited longer before using it. Problem is if it does get approved, most of us could not afford it.

I've taken MK677 for 3 weeks and now have to take a NCAA test in a few days. Can anyone help with something I can do to pass the test. Will it even show up on a URINE test for steroids? Any advice would be great. Thanks!!!
From what I have read, it should not. You can try searching the forums and Google, maybe someone gots more information

I wasn't being literal. FDA approved Vioxx killed 55,000 people. I was merely pointing out that this wasn't a "supp" - it's an experimental drug still in Phase Trials.

If you didn't take MK you may be dead on the street right now. You'd have left home 30 seconds early one morning because you weren't dosing MK and got run over by a garbage truck. Thank god for MK.

You noticing anything yet, I still need to get blood work done. I just wanted to wait a few months.
I'm on my 3rd different source of 677 and still experience none of the "sides". That means one of three things:

1. All sources have been bunk (doubtful just from an odds standpoint).
2. I just don't get the sides.
3. Since MK just super-charges what your body can output - my GH secretion is busted.

I'm going to pull IGF-1 on my next blood test.
