I lost 10lbs from working so much but I think it's mostly muscle.
 
Puccah I'm with you lol. I can gain muscle by looking at a barbell or a steak but for the love of it all it's like my internal thermo system isn't working.
 
I finally put two plates on squats this morning!! It's taken FOREVER but felt good! Even went into 235 from there! 300 here I come!
 
So I have a question for you guys...I am debating asking for lifting shoes for Christmas. What do you suggest. Not crazy expensive though they would be from my daughter.
 
I use Rebook Lifter 2.0 ... they are great, and you can likely get them cheap at a Rebook outlet or online.

This week has been a great week training wise. Both squat days I got 3 sets of 2-3 with 225 after several other working sets...I also got 135x4 on bench one day! Didn't even realize until afterwards that that's how much it was! She very happy that strength is climbing despite the stress/busyness of life.(many nights of less than 5 hrs of sleep) lifting belt is getting looser so maybe I'm leaning out a bit too! Whoop whoop! RegisterJr I'm interested to see if it makes a difference for me as well. I have currently been just barefoot for deads and squats. I may try to get a video next week to get opinions on form.

Barefoot or a flat soled shoe will still be best for deadlifts.

I finally cancelled my membership with my "old school" training gym. It's bittersweet because they were like family, but I have to do what's best for me. I needed a gym that accommodated my busy schedule.

Happy New year guys! Hope it's starting off well! Felt good to be back in the gym yesterday after a week off. We were one of the few offices open so the gym wasn't too busy at 5am. Totally different story today! Luckily, we have a corner where a smith machine use to be--I have adopted that as my new deadlifting corner and spent the majority of my time over there.
