That's a pretty solid team. The 6 with stars are my team (6). They're not necessarily all my 6 best, but the only way I want duplicates on my team is 6 Slowbro (also based on moves and HP):

TBH you'll get better Pokemon than all these as you level up, I'd still save the dust

This. Save the dust and don't use candy on non-evolved Pokemon (ones that do have evolutions); save them to evolve the Pokemon to see if it ends up having good moves before you use a ton of candy and stardust on it.

They have lots of options too (T-shirts, tank tops, long sleeves, phone cases, etc), and you can pick what color you want the shirt to be. It's pretty cool.

Pokemon GO added an "Appraise" option for each Pokemon (where favorite and transfer are). It basically acts as a simplistic IV rater without having to enter a bunch of stuff from a third-party webisite (which is annoying), or an app (which I think could possibly violate the terms of service if it reads directly from the game). Started going through my list and happy to see my Pikachu is a beast lol. Top percentile on all fronts. HP is absolute max.

Yep. Better nearby tracking, and local trading and battling would make it a much better game. I'd also like the option of 2 quick moves for better diversity and strategy (along with higher multipliers for super effective), but that's nitpicking.

Haha, it would, but I don't think they want to go to turn-based combat (although I'd prefer it), so 4 moves could be confusing and/or cluttered, although 2 quick and 2 charge moves would be nice. If they do that, they'd really have to make the super effective do at least 1.5x (it's 1.25x ATM and the Gameboy games are 2x), or there's not really a point. I could also see HM/TMs that you could get or even buy (and maybe use 1 quick and 1 charge for a Pokemon). It'd add more strategy and make more money without breaking the game or giving people who pay TOO MUCH of an advantage.

I've collected off the same gym 5x now lol, a 1880 exeggutor is there, with a 2450 dragonite up top.

I was able to hit 4 gyms per collection a few times now, all coins are going to incubators... I only need a lucky egg once a week when I mass evolve my common Pokemon for exp.

Looks like this thread has been dying down. Is anyone else looking forward to the buddy system to evolve/level up Pokemon that candy is rare for? I also caught this guy today:

Spent two hours of my anniversary with the gf chasing scythers in a park. This was the highlight as we had chased for like 25 min and I finally was like "gotta pee"... Found him haha

Haha, nice! When they add the Gen 2 Pokemon he can evolve, so I'm trying to save some candy for him. This is my highest IV Scyther (whatever the appraisal says is the highest tier; attack and defense 13-14/15). Hopefully he gets some better moves when he evolves, since he's a steel/bug type:

-All caps is highest tier IV
-Letters after name mean 15/15 IV (A for attack, D for defense, H for HP, and M for the best moveset):

Supposedly the update with the buddy system was just released, but hasn't quite hit the stores yet. We'll see. I'm not sure what Pokemon I'll put as my buddy Pokemon first, I guess it depends on what the 2 5km eggs I have at ~4km hatch into.

Most of my tops are vaporeons so my first page is boring... i'll have to set favorites to show a fun lineup and post it up... currently stuck walking my snorlax and dragonite since they both were atrociously low cp (both 200's) when I caught them. Can't get ANYTHING good from my eggs. ever. so mad

Nice. I had my Arcanine as my buddy for a little while to level him up a bit, and now it's my Snorlax, but I'm thinking of using somebody I can evolve soon.

I've seen like 3 dratini and hatched one so I was able to evolve... the dragonite was funny because I was in my hotel gym at 5am and saw it pop up on the radar... went running outside wandering around and empty sams club parking lot for 5 min before I found it. Only time I've ever had my phone at any gym.

I have more candy than I can use, I run out of Stardust faster so they are all building up on the Pokemon that can't evolve higher

Like stupid Jynx, I have over 100 candy I'll never use lol

Onyx I can't wait to get to a Steelix, (and my Scyther) the steel crossovers were among the coolest Pokemon changes IMO
