Will be seeing suicide squad Thursday night, pretty excited!
I would save your money if your going to see suicide squad was not impressed
Heard it cost like 152 mill to make the suicide squad movie and they haven't made it back in terms of ticket sales yet?
I'm looking forward to Doctor Strange and Guardians 2(Mainly for Kurt Russell, I'm a huge fanboy), but I'm mostly looking forward to Doc Savage. I love the old pulps. Now, if only netflix would make a series for The Shadow.

Anyone seen sausage party yet?
I might go see it, seems like something you have to see highIve heard mixed reviews. I have heard if you LOVE Seth Rogan movies, then this is for you
If you don't enjoy Seth Rogan, then you won't like it

Did anyone check out Hardcore Henry? I just watched it last night and it was crazy. I might actually buy it lol.
Yes! Honestly, that and the Christian Bale Batman films are my favorites of all the superhero films.Anyone else in here like the Thomas Jane Punisher film, or just me?

Just watched it yesterday was on the fence about the first person for the first ten minutes but man did that change the movie was so intense!
I remember one time I took a few hits of acid and was playing nazi zombies. After it kicked in I had the most messed up trip ever. It actually kind of suckedThats how I was. It was strange at first. Felt like a live Call of Duty game. But after 20 or so minutes I got into it.

I hope the cartoon/comic book based film craze ends soon.

I thought it was fantastic. Netflix's Punisher should be good too.. He was solid in Daredevil season 2
Late to the party, but I watched Creed 2 nights ago. So good!
The score is perfect for the gym, too
hmm Really dude
Arrgh.
Then there is the Ben-Hur remake with leads who have the charisma of third/forth bananas compared to Charlton Heston.
Apparently quite a few remakes in the works as well.
They're remaking memento???? Why in the world?
i get the Ben-Her remake the original was 59' (talk about standing the test of time)... what I don't get is the movies like Splash or Memento (this one hurts), is it just lazy, or are there nothing original left? Even Star Trek didn't need to get remade, could have created a new cast and new story line.
My issue is it is hard to find an actor with the commanding presence of Charlton Heston or Lee Marvin or John Wayne. Mel Gibson pulled off a good tough guy in his Payback, which was a remake of a Lee Marvin film and in the later Get the Gringo, but he is getting on in years.
Then there is the source material. Plenty of good books, fiction and non-fiction as source material so why redo a classic. Especially Ben Hur when the latest sword and sandals films have flopped in the USA. Maybe they do well overseas.
There is a lot to be said of what has been posted about for a few years now- that it is difficult for Hollywood to find manly men to fill the lead roles. Me as a guy from the old school cannot believe the type which are being presented as leading man material. Ben Hur is an example as I see the two leads as being the type who normally would be third/fourth roles in a film not leads.
Ah, I sound like a grumpy old man. Not at all in real life.
Seriously. The remakes IMO are getting WAY TO OVERDONE! Space Jam being done soon with Lebron I heard. NO absolutely not.

Get the Gringo with Mel was VERY well done. I get it, people HATE that dude now, but he can still act
Why?
Why do people hate him? Maybe all the Anti-Semitism rants, the recorded phone calls where he hoped his wife (at the time) would get raped because she wouldn't give him blowies, the DUI where he called the female cop "Sugar Tits"
The list goes on and on.
He's a great actor, but because of all of that he's blackballed
In fairness, I'd be mad if my wife didn't give me blowies either...of course I'm not married though.
I didn't know about anything other than a couple racial slurs, but even those I took with a grain of salt. I didn't personally hear it. Now the wife thing, not cool. Are all these accounts though of when he was drunk? He's also an alcoholic right? Why do people hate him?
