Is there a burning sharp pain might be your ACL. Hope it's not I tore my acl and mcl at work and worked through it for months until I got it checked. Thank you, WAF! I have a bag of ice and a compression on it. It's not sharp but I can feel it wanting to pop if I twist it. I'll go tomorrow if it's not better. :/ Damn, concrete!

I was washing my car and I slipped and fell. I did a split and the inside of my left knee smack the damn concrete. Freakin' A, now my knee is swollen, I can't walk, and I feel like something is moving inside. My first day of work is tomorrow!!
Damn that horrible, do what you can to keep the swelling down and IMO let your boss or higher up know about the incident just in case it leads to anything else then, good luck puccah!

Thank you, I think you're right! I've been needing to deload anyway. Yes, if I can't walk right tomorrow, I'll let them know.

It's starting to move up my quad and to my glute. So weird!

Thanks, guys. It was painful to sleep and I can't walk this morning. I think my knee got too hot throughout the night. I'm icing it right now and hopefully it'll get better in a bit.

You need to get it checked out!! Even if it's something minor they can give you a brace/support and prevent any more damage

I feel a lot better but sitting for a long time really aggravates it.

Also, I love my new job! It's so refreshing and the environment is so amazing! I feel like I'm working at Google! :D Things really do happen for a reason! :)

Thank you, Kleen. I'm not sure if sitting all day is making my legs swell up or if it's my knee injury. I have cankles right now. I think it's from sitting down and the knee injury is adding to it. My other leg is a bit swollen, too, but not as bad as the injured one.

They're pretty swollen today. Luckily, I have a desk that moves up and down. I can't stand too long but it helps a bit.

Well, I tried going to the gym but it hurts too bad. 40 mins of slow walking and attempted arms but nopppppppe...

I love my rice cooker works like a charm and sings a lil song for me when it's done, no more over or under cooked rice. Rest for awhile no point of agitating it more. Enjoy yourself away from the gym. You've only got one body need to take care of it, hopefully this turns around for you.

I have a nice rice cooker but I haven't been eating rice lately. Oh and I don't know how to really use it. I think I add too much water.

I have to use a lot of water with my rice cooker to get brown rice to cook properly. Like about 3.5 to 1.
 
Awe I'm so sorry you know I'd gladly take your pain and take it myself if it was possible. And no your feet don't look like sausages lol. Maybe this weekend rest will help a good bit.

Just take your time. You will probably want to start with body weight stuff on that leg first, testing it out and increasing blood flow for recovery.

It's slowly getting better. Sleeping and sitting or standing in the same place for too long is painful. Still no gym yet, but I will attempt it tomorrow. Thank you for asking. :)

You are on crack! Gains aren't going anywhere silly. You are naturally thick and have a lot of muscle you aren't losing any muscle right now sweetie. CNS stuff might break down but you aren't losing any muscle tissue yet. At least not "The gains are gone" type loss.

I would really only do body weight squats when you start working the legs again. Work them good through the bottom range to open things up. Once it feels pretty good in the hole and coming out of the hole then add in lunges to strengthen the knee and stabilize it, then when that isn't causing discomfort go hit some weights.

Are you icing it or taking anything for the inflammation? You should be taking about 800mg of ibuprofen every 4 hours to reduce the inflammation, but only for a couple weeks then drop the dose down or stop it depending on how it feels. If your stomach can't handle that then get a bunch of high extract turmeric.

I'm icing it and taking Tylenol. It was hurting so bad the other day that I took some OxyContin but it didn't help and kept me up all night. I may go get some Aleve tonight.
