If that burnout lasted a minute we might need a fire extinguisher for those tires! I used to have an old 82 5.0 someone had built the living crap out of!!!! Had a 4 speed muncie tranny, short throw shifter, huge Holley carb, high rise intake, and the lope on the cam was so exaggerated it felt like it might twist the frame. Man that thing was a beast! I was young and really had no business driving that beast... It was so fast and full of torque I could burn out taking off in second, or burn the tires right through 1st, 2nd and get a little sideways kick going into 3rd gear. What can I say other than... I made it out alive!
