No gym today, because I was at the hospital most of the day with my Mom for a heart procedure. However, I needed to do something...I was feeling way too tense. So, I just did 3 rounds of body weight stuff (push-ups, chair dips, sit ups, planks, split squats, lunges, etc). Sweaty & much less tense now.

dumbell rows 4 sets 8 reps
lat pulldown 4 sets 11 reps

isolated lat 4 sets 8 reps
reverse dumbell flys 4 sets 8 reps
lat pulldown burnouts 2 sets
 
back day at the gym.

Had my high volume arm session and the pump was painful.

High volume leg session will commence in roughly 4 hours. Giggity!
 
Kind of a hot mess of upper body today off the normal back/bis routine for Fridays. It was unusually busy at my gym and there were an influx of 60+ year olds on machines with "trainers" teaching them how to push 10lbs. Just kind of used whatever machines were available at the time. Ahhhhhh it's snowbird season in South Florida again! I can't be a hater though, they're trying and doing something is better than doing nothing at all.

Lat pulldown machine
Alternating dumbbell curls
Deltoid raise (machine)
Pec deck
Seated rows
Tricep extension machine

Definitely feel it moreso than normal though. BAM.

Leg day was a success and so was the hot tub!
 
Touching up on an epic arm workout. Gotta fill out the sleeves at the tailgate tomorrow ;)

Ouch!! Hope not too bad

Not the worst I've ever had for sure. Just a standard pinched nerve or strain I got on barbell shrugs. I blame the fact that my hip imbalance has my left shoulder rolled forward ever so slightly (i.e. I have to pull back hard and consciously on the left delt to get it lined up). That and the cage isn't square to the wall/mirror, so if you're trying to look, it appears you're not centered even though you actually are. Those 2 things just lined up in a perfect storm to screw me today lol

Gotta make myself go to bed at a decent time and actually IN bed instead of falling asleep in the recliner like I normally do.

Hoping this doesnt keep me from playing ball tomorrow. Progress on cutting has been going great and I don't want to miss a good burn day lol.
