So I took a bit of a rest day yesterday, first in I can't remember how long. I was out with my granddaughter and it was extremely hot and humid.

My preliminary weight in had me down 3.5 lb from this time last week. I expect to go down a pound or 2 by the end of the week as that's when the changes will really kick in. I am ready to make adjustments to Keto but I feel I can ride this for a bit longer. I am at 210.5 and my target is the mid 190's with 8.5 weeks to go. Starting to look a little more feasible, we'll have to see what happens.
 
Higher carb day, might have me feeling a bit better tonight.

Man, I have to tell you there was some doubt today. I was very light headed and a bit disoriented. For some reason I decided to increase the weights a bit anyway, I don't know, think it's cuz I'm nuggin futz... I was pleasantly surprised how powerful I felt. That carried me through I fuggin attacked!! Very high volume too...

So weigh in went down just the way I expected, down to 209 from 213 last week. I'd say I have 15 to 18 lbs to drop in the next 8 weeks. Still going to be pretty tough. I have to admit doubts are creeping in. I will give it my best shot and make a final decision about 2 weeks out. I will not waste my cash on this one of I am not immaculate. I know I'm bigger but conditioning this time around is proving to be arduous. I am not giving up by any means, I continue to go as hard as I can. Many would have given up from what I have been through but that is not in my nature. Let the chips fall where they may. Another good week could have me back in it, I'll keep fighting.

Doubt comes and goes with this process, it's a really high bar this time which adds to that. Doubt can't stop me from pushing. It does interfere with some of the enjoyment though. If I was on pace and not fighting to catch up it would be a different story. I am getting closer just waiting for the big breakthrough.
