Keeping Up With The Yates': A Couple's Training Log

That is adorable! I hope I have a kid like that one day! I had always wished I'd gotten into fitness earlier on, and your little one is hooked up with two active parents!
We hope to be a positive influence on his life, hopefully he will start lifting with us one day

He has his own 1lb weights already, and likes for us to make him "protein" shakes when we have ours. His is usually just chocolate milk!! ;)

Lol same with our son, Aiden!!! Kenzie still doesn't understand though����. The wife won't let me actually make him a shake. Chocolate milk it is for now. He is one solid boy though.
 
You guys...it's not much, but I am super proud of this itty bitty bisep. I've always had toothpick arms. I love that they are starting to show some definition.

Thanks! Just revamped my whole routine a few weeks ago so I'm excited to make some new progress

Revamping is always good and fun :)


Starting pics. I'm about 2 weeks into an osta, dermacrine, and eliminate cycle. Diet is 2400 calories and I'm only eating 50g of carbs Monday through Saturday with Sunday being a reload day (300 of carbs) current body weight is 164 pounds as of this morning

Sounds exhausting just reading that - I could personally never go so low re calories or carbohydrates!

This is my first time going that low with my carbs. I think I'm responding pretty well to it so far. When this diet stops being effective or makes me feel like crap I will reevaluate again. So far the low carbs has not effected my energy level or even my muscle fullness

Arms are looking good, and just for the record Ladies with Nice Arms and Shoulders are very sexy !!!

Just a tip I used to give the girls I trained, Concentrate on your shoulders, the wider you can make your shoulders the smaller your waist will appear.

You two are doing a good job here, fun to follow and also motivational !!

Felt really good today. Needed yates84 to give me a pep talk before my 135 DL sets, but it was just what I needed. I'm thinking I'm going to start doing 1 warm-up set & then do 5/3/1 approach with them for a while!!

It's also reload day for me!! So, time to enjoy some carbs!!

Awesome lifts and nice volume!! I love doing face pulls at end of my back workout.

No I don't think this is photoshopped. I have seen this kid on Youtube, his Dad is a gymnast and he and his older brother both look like this from the gymnastics. That is all from body weight exercises.
