Kat, awesome workout and I can see the abs coming in!!! Your always one of my main inspiration's for keeping me going on my journey. Hope your kids have a great time, but I know you will miss them.

Yes that is correct, do not drop the weight. You were at a perfect weight and failing where you should. You don't have to increase the weight that often when done correctly you are only increasing when you get to 10x10 but you should make getting there challenging also. It is the extra rep or two per workout that is the method of progression here before you progress by increasing weight.

Happy Friday all! I hope you're having a great day! I'm hanging with my youngest today and we are at the gym pool now! We didn't get to the gym until after 11 but that's ok- we don't have a schedule today! Tomorrow we head out to meet the grandparents. I'll miss them a lot but it will be nice to just hang out with hubby a lot!!!

Warmed up before my workout and felt a little tightness in my upper left hamstring. Did a few extra wu sets and then my first working set had a sharper pain...dropped the weight back and it was fine. Finished all of my squats and leg curls...first step up- insanely sharp pain and I almost fell. Made it up on top of the bench and then put the weight on the bench and carefully got back down. I tried a couple of different exercises to hit my quads but ended up with just leg extensions. Got ice from the front desk and iced it for a good 30+ mins. Hoping/thinking its just a strain!

Way to crush it and also be responsible about getting the ice on that injury quickly. Hopefully by next Friday you wont even feel it.

Casino night with my big sister. She sat down on a penny machine and the guy next to her moved over so I sat down. He wasn't too happy that he moved cuz I hit $700 and my sister hit $1000. :D :lucky Asians:

Being a car guy I have to ask (1) what kind of car are you thinking of buying (2) if cost did not matter (let's say you won 7 million instead of 7 hundred) what kind of you would you buy??

Oh man...I know what my cars (yes plural) would be! I'd have an Aston Matin Vanquish for my "Mommy time" car, a new BMW M5 6 speed for my everyday sedan, and a Porsche Cayenne GTS for my SUV. Then I'd have a new 3 quarter ton truck of some kind (probably a Ford or Dodge) to pull our horse trailer!!!

Haha! She said all the cars I want but since money is an issue, I would like a big dodge truck or a Lexus is250. I'm a simple girl. :D I don't want a brand new one either because I don't want a high payment.

lol I already know how you and the hubby are with vehicles! hes only sent me 50 pics of black beauty! I love german rides to, drove a Benz C63 AMG god I love those cars, had a bmw M5 for a bit that was a beast, I think benz is my all time fav. for foreign rides.

hey bro, I love my Chevys and American made 100% im just sayin, the only thing close to a good American hotrod is a german made machine like a good benz. im not into all the rice burne import scene, but german made vehicles do have a place in my heart. I had a Chrysler 300m 2004 the last year they made it when they were with benz and it had a lot of benz technology in It and believe me, that was one of the best cars ive ever had, American and german engineering together. though Im a chevy man at heart, some of them mopars are nice.

my 04 Chrysler 300M last year they made it and my '05 Chrysler 300C first year they made those replacing the m, both wee integrated with benz technology and wee kickass for mopars.

Because my imports have been more reliabe than my domestics!! Plus, nothing handles like a BMW. I'm not a Benz fan...too expensive for what they are & how they drive...but a BMW I LOVE. Our 545i 6 speed is one of the funnest cars I've ever driven....and I had a z28 as my first car. It just comes down to preferences!!

I had to pay full price or I would lose my unlimited data, and they wouldn't let me do the edge because it would be considered "upgrading".

Technically, the BMW is his car & I have a Volvo SUV...but I get to drive whatever I want because he drives his work truck during the week. But...yes, I am spoiled.

Bummer. I miss our unlimited data. I wish we hadn't switched to edge. Now we pay for 20GB a month for 4 people.
