Will there be any point in buying the new product if you're already using Ergonine daily?
Not only regular glutamine, but alanylglutamine (essentially what SynerGlut is) has been dosed much higher than the 2.5g found in E9. One of the studies (taken during basketball) had a 3g group and a 6g group, and I've seen a study use as high as 24 g/day alanylglutamine. No real negative to using additional TMG
And glutamine has been dosed much higher in other supplement suggestions
My thought is no worries
Made the color yellowish which people weren't liking.
not going to lie, i'm pretty disappointed about this- especially considering the rationale behind its removal.
although i haven't read much of the literature on verbacoside, the "pumps" i have experienced when i have dosed aiv intra-wo are far greater than what i experience with sizeon pc (still have 3 tubs left). i understand this is just my own personal anecdote, but i'm still sad to see it go. i do think alanine intra-wo is a good idea, at least in theory, so i'm cool with that. tmg, whatever i'm already using e9. either way, still the best eaa product on the market. i look forward to comparing the new version to its predecessor.
I agree regarding verbacoside. I Get more pump from it than with High volume, I'm only assuming its the verbacoside? This is why I'm keen to see a stand alone.

I'm sure we represent the minority in caring about the minutia of the formulation compared to flavor and color; it's somewhat of an inevitability that as PEScience moves into more mass marketability, we as "enthusiasts" will need to make some compromises. Amino IV is still a fantastic product and among the best in its category; even if I feel a little let down here, I can't be too upset.
Plus, perhaps now we'll find some excellent clearance deals on that "old, nasty-tasting, piss-colored stuff" while room is made for the new shininess
In any event, I'm not going to be able to remember any sadness as soon as this new Select flavor drops.
I have to think that AS will see some of these ingredients. Frankly as is the brand that will be more for the people "in the know" as how many "bros" do you know buying single ingredients and odd extracts?
I'm fine with PES changing some things here and there so long as they keep coming out with new novelties as well. Think of it this way, they introduced a product with a few new compounds and everyone liked them. As it changes, both PES and their consumers can benefit as we can dose the special ingredients however we want and the mass market gets their "sexy" supplement in the shiny bottle.
I have 100% faith that we will see more novel products with fresh ingredients very soon.

Lemon verbena will be available in capsules in the future.
this makes me happy. And I'm honestly surprised how worked up some people have gotten over the formula changeLemon verbena will be available in capsules in the future.
i dont think anyone is worked up. if it's the same price point as before there are definitely cheaper options though. anyone buying Ergonine isn't going to really be interested since it already has TMG, HICA and the Synerglut blend. To each their own though.
i Always see monsters carrying around gallons of brightly color drink... Probably intra carbsMay aswell sip you E9 during workout... I have never got around these BCAA intra supps. Find it funny, it always skinny guys with shi+ form sipping on their coloured water at any gyms I go to, never see any serious lifters using them...

Here is the deal guys.
As much as some of you say you loved the lemon verbena, the product just didn't get great feedback. The number of people who complained about the taste was too high.
To me, I genuinely enjoyed the taste and had no idea people struggled with it but a lot of people did.
I enjoyed lemon verbena, having an antioxidant without hampering cellular adaptation to exercise was novel. However, I am happy to replace that with betaine which has actual end point data on body composition and performance.
As much as I love lemon verbena, I love betaine more. On top of that, l-analyl-l-glutamine has data in humans during 40 minute exercise periods which applicable to someone performing workouts in a gym.
This will also allow the product to look and taste better as well which is a plus for everyone.![]()
Will this have any sort of insider sale, or will it just be a slow transition as supplies run out of the original?
It's already begun to ship to retailers.
They will be getting all the new improved flavors. Should be 1-2 weeks depending on how slow they go about it.Do you know if BB.com will get Watermelon?

You get more of a pump from Amino IV than High Volume?
Yeah, Must be the Verb? Cant see the rest of the formula contributing to pumps. I don't know if its my high bodyfat thats the issue but Nitrates now and again give me pumps but not all the time, I use High volume on Conditioning days for The Nitrates and Cit. Defiantly less fatigue. Only things that give me massive pumps are GMS 6-12g, ARA (only over 2g), Ment and Dbol.
On the taste issue, I have 5 tubs of watermelon and hate the taste but I use half a scoop of BB to 1.5 scoops and it changes the taste completely.
If you wondering why i have 5 tubs of a flavour I don't like, I bought them on a insider.
RIP to those B vitamins. Screw mixing clear, I would rather have their inclusion any day.
P.S. Will BB.com finally get Watermelon now?
why was verbacoside removed? i thought you guys really liked this ingredient...
I have been on the forums for almost 10 years and this is the first time I have ever seen feedback about people concerned about b vitamins in an amino product. I wonder if people would have been complaining if Amino IV had originally come out without b vitamins. The lack of b vitamins substantially improves the taste. I'm also surprised people are complaining about taurine being taken out. When the product first came out, people complained saying it was an BCAA/EAA product and that it was a "filler" ingredient. Now people are upset about it being removed. It might seem to people like we are trying to cheapen the product, but the changes to the product come out to be the same cost as the previous formulation of Amino IV. This is not a cost prevention method.
Most likely going to be an AS product in the future.
taurine is a nice touch, but it's dirt cheap. could also care less about the b-complex. just really surprised you guys took out the verba. i'm going to pull up the citations and do some reading on it this weekend. either way, i think this update is a step up- especially if verba is offered through the as line.
oh, in for the syn/coop alley-oop on a free tub![]()

Added b vitamins are always a waste. I couldnt care either way.
People hate change. I could do without the added betaine (its in everything) but the synerglut is cool.
Im just excited for taste
Might be in everything but its the first actual PES product to contain itI never cared much for b vitamins anyway because its in everything. I understand people hate change so I hope our responses can at least help them understand why we made these changes. Last thing we want is people to think we are out to hoodwink them or cheapen a product. I would think a product like high volume shows we are committed to making the best product possible, regardless of cost. I haven't tried the new version though, but I hear the new CL is much better (I actually liked the original CL, and I have no problems admitting when I don't like a flavour).
