Thanks Man! I am crushing it as hard as possible. I have been pounding calories to get the metabolism up and I think I am just now getting into my new maintenance calorie levels.dude you look swole as fuark in that vid. thanks for the talk through in some of the poses. might have to hit a few in the 'ol log. you look like you're leaning out big time. got veins everywhere now.
It is in progress...Googled this and can't find it.. do you have a pdf?Strong session ...will be fun to see what you come up with each workout..
I went to the newer gym again it takes about 5 minutes longer to get there but they have some better selections on leg equipment and cardio stuff. So I made the drive over there to see what I could come up with for a nice leg workout. Since I have been babying my inner thigh area for a long time even when doing squats they have either been very light or just above parallel if much weight. Today I decided to go ahead and give myself a push on squats and see how well I fared.
Squats - Bar x25, 135x15, 225x10, 315x5, 365x5 - I contemplated another heavier set but I think I had pushed hard enough to really test the groin area. Plus surprisingly 365 was a relatively heavy 5 which tells me the layoff from squatting really effected my strength.
Front Squats - 185x10, 225x5, 245x5 - For any of you that follow my logs know I have a true dislike for this movement. Not because it is ineffective but because the way my shoulder girdle is shaped the bar always sits on my high clavicles or in my throat. Well I decided to roll up a towel and put it across the front of my collar bones so the bar would not kill it and started working my way up. I don't know that I have ever put 245 on the bar for a front squat so this was pretty good for me especially after squats.
Hack Squats Warm Up with weighted sissy squats 135x20 - 225x15, 315x10, 405x10 > burn out with weighted sissy squats 135x25 Holy Quads on Fire! Those weighted sissy squats are brutal!!! Love this Hack Squat machine too the foot platform is at the correct angle and the safety locks are up at the shoulders instead of low on the carriage which makes a huge difference.
SuperSet 4 rounds with no rest periods
Leg Ext 130x15, 130x15, 180x10, 180x10
Leg Curls 90x15, single legs 60x10/10, 60x10/10, 60x10/10 - Both my quads and hamstrings were full and toasty by the time this was over.
Standing Calve Raise machine - 225x15, 250x15, 250x12 great pump I forgot how good these felt not having one around for so long.
