raised in Compton....okay? so what? lots of athletes grow up in poverty, bad streets/towns, and get involved in nefarious activities in youth.. it has happened all thruout every sport, in about every decade since the advent of sporting activities but we grow up look, this is all opinions here, but -- when you are making the $ these guys are making, at my (the fans) expense, I believe there is certain etiquette you should follow....running around like thugs you were in childhood is not making me feel great about spending my $ on you ----> and you got a masters from Stanford? you should know this already on a coaching level: I want to feel good about my players, have confidence in them, know they will follow the plays, and do whatever it takes to make the team better ... if I'm a coach and one of my players takes on this "lookit me!! weee!" attitude in n'tl spotlight interview, I'm not feeling it insofar as having that kind of confidence in them I didn't really care for ali either, with his antics and arrogance -- but, at least boxing is an individual sport
