Pretty used to it lol. Family members and coworkers all follow religiously and can make for social awkwardness.

Does it decrease the efficacy of a thermo if I take amino IV with it/in proximity to it?

If it has yohimbine you might be better off spacing them out. You'll hear differing opinions on this, but any insulin release is going to blunt the effects. If it's ephedrine or something else you'll generally be ok.

This is true. HOWEVER, if he is exercising shortly after yohimbine/AMINO IV ingestion, epinephrine is released, which is the strongest inhibitor of insulin release. So it's a non-issue

When epinephrine acts on beta (not alpha) aren't you going to have an insulin release?

The inhibition is a much stronger effect, but the insulin release is a non-issue anyway. It's the natural insulin release that accompanies exercise and allows blood glucose to enter muscle tissue where demand is high. This insulin really does not go to fat cells, nor would it matter since any delivered glucose would not have the necessary glycerol for TG synthesis.

I wouldn't stress over it. the release will be transient. If you ate over 20-30grams of carbohydrates then I would space it out..

Agreed, much harder as a goaltender. Your mistakes are magnified.

That being said, wait to see our Canadian Olympic Team in Sochi!
 
He actually has been really good for Dallas. He also played for a ****ty ass Atlanta team in the beginning. I know he plays amazing against the Hawks.

He's outside the top-15 in save percentage this season and it's right on par with his career save percentage. He was supposed to be the next big goalie coming into the league after winning the MVP of the Finnish Elite League as a teenager, but that never materialized. Injuries no doubt played a role in his development (or lack thereof).
 
Replenished my Amino IV stock yesterday, trying blueberry again, but so hard to not use Cherry limeade

I am digging CL in Lemon-lime Gatorade though (I need those carbs...).
 
I've been rotating flavors since the release. Haven't used two of same flavor twice in a row yet. Both are too good.

I've been streaky. Was using blueberry for a few weeks now back on CL. Both are so damn addicting!

got the cherry limeade, was pretty watered down in my shaker bottle actually (I think it holds 30 ounces). Was anticipating a stronger taste.

2 scoops correct? Also, try it with cold cold water and ice cubes (really brings out the taste for me personally).
 
Would love to hear feedback on peoples results using amino IV during IF diet schedules. Who here can share? Or during fasted training. I've debated trying this type of a diet plan in the past but just get a bit scared of the fasting windows.

1 scoop intra.

Amino IV does not for food craving or hunger, that would be your hunger hormone.
 
As EBF & Solution, i do the 1 pre 1 intra as well and i havent had any problems with it. Ever since i combined IF with CBL i really honest to god feel like my fat loss has accelerated with no strength/muscle loss (with some help from IV dosing im sure). I love working out fasted and i enjoy the fast as a sort of mental/physical challenge. IF really works for some people, and others not so much, but i really enjoy it so ill probably stick with it for as long as i can.

yep, 2 scoops. The water was cold since its 15 degrees here lol but will throw a few cubes in there. Dont really mind the weaker taste to be honest, it beats A. a horrible taste, and B. a taste so strong it makes you queezy during your workout.

I do IF when dieting, you don't need amino IV for it, and no need to be scared of the fasting windows :). A scoop of amino IV pre lift, and one scoop during would be ideal. Also, I do find the fasting periods control my cravings, you'll find that once your stimmed out during the fasting periods you have no issues. Cravings generally start once you have already eaten something that day, but since you'll be fasting you won't notice. It does take a few days to get used to though.

Same here CBL (following more of a Biorythm diet with P+F Meals early and more carbs as the day goes on)
and fasted training.

Getting stronger on the daily.
 
This might be a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway.

Being that Amino IV has a high content of leucine (and knowing that leucine is the primary trigger for mps), is it redundant at all to have a protein shake immediately post-wo?
If you're consuming 2 full scoops of Amino IV during your workout, is that enough to initiate protein synthesis?

I'm obviously no expert on the mps process, I'm just curious and trying to figure out optimal dose timing, etc.

It's not redundant. You still need to hit your total protein target throughout the day.
