PES- Amino IV

What are the benefits of the verbana?

Honestly, this is the best ingredient in the product. If Josh clears me to do so, I will explain what we extracted for and how it will not only improve recovery (human data), but also boost performance through a variety of mechanisms.

For now, I'll leave it at this...

It will work very well with CDP-Choline and ArA.

And secondly, I'm curious to see if any Amino IV users report an unusual side effect for an intraworkout product: improved pumps ;)

Very nice

Well, I'm just saying that in this case, it looks suspect.

Because the MPS results in the non-enriched EAA group are not significantly outside of what one would expect in the post-exercise MPS increase under no supplementation at all.

To me, this makes the study read as 'leucine increases MPS'

I'm just saying that if they wanted to demonstrate that EAA increases MPS or for the study to be used to say that, then they would need to be testing it against the non-presence of EAA.

There are already studies comparing leucine to EAA to whey. This study is showing that leucine + EAA is greater than either alone.

nice, I follow the LEANGAINS IF approach…….so 1 scoop before, 1 scoop during and I'm good to go?? and what about after training, should i consume 1 more scoop?

1 scoop is enough preworkout for the bolus leucine effect. I'd advise consuming another one intraworkout (no need for postworkout) since it has ingredients that are conducive to enhanced endurance and recovery

Hi,
why there´s no l-tryptophan in the formula? Isn´t it also an EAA?

Tryptophan competes for the same transporter as the BCAAs. This would reduce BCAA uptake plus diminish one of the purported anti-fatigue effects of leucine (blocking out tryptophan uptake into the brain, thus prolonging perceived central fatigue).

My brother in law ran 50 miles for charity yesterday(srs) and recovered with water :p

You could say this with all supplements. People built muscle before creatine, whey protein and ArA.

Supplement companies just try and make the process faster or more efficient. Maybe he would have recovered better with Amino IV. :)

How's it work on a cut? I'm at maintenance now but cutting soon in 6 weeks

No problems stacking agmatine or L-Norvaline with this coop?

Ok, but does this not reduce the muscle tissue building effect of the EAAs? Or isn´t tryptophan necessary for this?

Thank you for the explanation!

so 1 pre and 1 intra correct? I train early morning fasted so want to get the best bang for my buck so i can give you guys a good review after trying it for a while.

Mine comes in Wednesday.

Nice to see a foundational product such as Aminos being improved upon. Looking forward to trying this. As far as the lack of tryptophan I personally will not be concerned as I will not be consuming this as my sole source of aminos. With other sources of tryptophan in the diet I think the choice to not include it in the formula are kind of a moot point.

I recover better with steroids.

I recentely got the opportunitry to try the Limeade version of AminoIV. The taste is awesome! Not to sweet. Kind of resembles the cherry limeade from sonic I used to get! I also like that there is no bad aftertaste and there is relatively no foam once mixed! I just ordered two more tubs

Pretty much my thoughts as well. I love that it's not too sweet. Nothing I hate more than working out, and trying to drink something real sweet intra.

I can't wait to try the blueberry

I've tried a lot of good intra's such as Strive and Aminolast but always just go back to water or Gatorade because they are the only liquids that quench my thirst during a workout. Will be interested to try this. I ordered blueberry.

My package is shipping today :D What flavour first? Or maybe one flavour pre one flavour intra? Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions.

Had the blueberry and loved it but took the risk and ordered 3 of the CL.

I think I prefer cherry limeade.

That probably means everyone else prefers blueberry lol.

Ok time for algebra again............if steroids, GH, PH/DS = X, and Protein and aminos = Y, with Z being optimal results.....then X+Y=Z > X+0. Goddamnit. :D

I almost bought some purple wraath then I remembered I got 4 tubs coming smh lolol. Bcaa whore

What you mean what.

He's hard of hearing, ever heard of being nice and polite to people with disabilities? he also has mental problems btw.....

WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT? (For those hard of hearing :) )

Well now you've added a charge of yelling at deaf people to the violations :D Whats next? stealing a young childs kool-aid powder to flavor your Amino IV and add sugar for increased anabolic effect?

Kool-Aid. The most anabolic substance on earth. Tastiest too.

Haha I almost did the same thing. I was seconds away from buying chained out. No need now, I got 3 tubs of pes aminos coming my way

Lolol I don't think sometimes I get so hyped to buy stuff sometimes lol. But sipping bcaas inbetween has been great for my recovery I think I will stick with this for a while. I think I dropped a solid lb of fat this month and it hasn't came back.

I actually am deaf in one ear, completely.

any ways, I wasn't talking about anything in this thread that coop had said, I was referring to previous post by him in which I believe he didn't support the use of amino's intra workout?

could be wrong, or maybe his opinion has changed recently.

Yeah I think I've seen him post something like that.

He posted in this thread. or another thread (can't remember since the board is flooded with multiple threads) about an ingredient included that enhances endurance and pumps intra workout...starts with a v. Too lazy to look up the profile.

Helllllll yeah, spikes insulin like no other :D.....and grape tastes fantastic.

My mom is essentially deaf in one ear, otherwise perfectly healthy at 66 or so (looks like early 50's)....so I'm used to having to yell if I'm on the deaf side of her :D

On a side note my goods arrived today. What should I try first!?
