I know... hate the thought. As you are aware I come from a dark place weight wise and need to get things in check.
Thanks wasme. I'm the exact opposite... The middle of this cut was the hardest for me so far. I believe I'm 11 full weeks into this cut and I think around weeks 7-now have been the hardest. I b1tch and whine and complain about cutting but honestly I enjoy it. Deep deep down somewhere lol

Dan, if you love you some MD and have not stalled you don't have to change. Doesn't each phase offer enough change that when you restart the first it is a "new" workout to your system? What about changing exercises around or whatever. Otherwise the PHAT is probably a good one. I was thinking about that one when I am not in prep mode. FST-7 is great too. Heck you could even have your coach write something up. I understand he is the sh!t!

Hit shoulders today and holy hell I'm in love with phase 3 so far. I had veins popping all throughout the front on my chest/delts! It might not look like alot but this was one of the most intense workouts I've ever had. Pouring sweat and pumped to the max by the end.

Week 9 day 2

Shoulders

Cage presses- partials to failure. 30-45 sec rest
95-10
95-8
95-7
95-6

3 sets-
Didn't keep track of reps but lat raises
Were 80 pounds and between 8-12 reps with slow negatives and swings were 45lbs 12-20 reps

Snags, do you consider partial reps for increased TUT cheating, or so long as proper alignment is kept do you just consider it another tool or principle to be used?

Dude I honestly love the program so far. So many variations of things you can do to switch things up when you get bored of something. I like how you can change things on the fly week to week but not feel like your abandoning the program because you don't like something about it. And yeah the pump is sick.

not cheating at all, in that context
is all about planned work - exactly nail on head with additional tool/principle to be incorporated
going thru movements with no plan, meh..waste of time ;)

yep - problem there is, most of the guys who run around tellin you that, are the ones who do not have the first clue what they are doing

understood on the boldened - it takes time brother; how long? depends on each individual person
but to get that point, for most folks, it requires abstinence for a good long while, and a change in the thought process of instead of looking at things like you are "depriving" yourself, you accept that you can not eat that way because you do not like the way you look/feel after you do

and then, comes the whole "taste bud" change, and a change in the foods you begin to crave (ie healthy choices)

you do not need a prep mode to remain on point! you think that is why I eat like I do? no sir
truly - I do not enjoy the taste of "bad things" any longer; the difference is, I pick & choose when I WANT TO have things that may be outside my diet; I do not let the foods dictate when THEY wish to be eaten, and control me ;)

it is a process..good work once again, and stick with it - I am proud of you

Thanks dude. I appreciate it. It's funny you mention craving food that's not sh1tty for you because right now I'm seriously craving sweet potatoes bad lol 11 weeks ago I absolutely hated them. Quinoa and grapefruit are other things I crave now. It's kinda weird lol
